The potential of santa monica making atreus and thrud canon is NONE because not only atreus admitted he has no interest in thrud because skjoldr has a crush on her but it's also very obvious with the way atreus interact with thrud he sees her as a friend and probably a sister, also in norse mythology skjoldr (who is a Danish king btw) is married to Aesir goddess and in gow he has a crush on thrud who's Aesir goddess as well so yeah in the future it's gonna be atreus and angrboda, skjoldr and thrud because i absolutely don't see santa monica wasting their time on useless love triangle it's not and was never their style of story telling they always focus on one lover for the mc.

Also i want to add that i remember santa monica posted on twitter atreus and thrud screenshot on siblings day so yeah this ship is cooked lmao.

And ffs thrud is not sigyn, sigyn doesn't exist in gow universe and she doesn't need to be, there are a lot of norse gods who didn't appear in the norse saga and thats okay not every god needs to be in the story.

damn i really riled everyone up today apologies guys! 😭😭 i didnt know abt the fact in the myths skjoldr is married to an aesir goddess! And i agree 100% with everything you said <3 a love triangle would be ridiculously useless and youre absolutely correct abt not everyone needing to be apparent either.
