Hot New Product: Audi R8 SmartTOP Control Module

Although it might sound like a small issue, having to be inside your Audi R8 to open or close the convertible top can get very annoying over time. If you want to open or close the top outside the vehicle quickly, you can’t. You have to unlock it, get inside, then hold the button down, and then go. It might sound minor, but when you’re paying for an Audi R8, minor annoyances like this shouldn’t exist. Luckily, there are now solutions on the market to fix this problem. SmartTOP has been developing convertible top solutions for a massive array of different vehicles, and they have finally set their sights on the Audi R8.

What this control module allows you to do, is control the windows and convertible top from outside the vehicle. On top of being able to control the top from outside the vehicle, controlling it from inside becomes even easier, as SmartTOP owners only need to tap the interior button once and the roof opens or closes automatically. There are also options which make it possible to open or close the top by touching the door handle. All of these options are configured through your PC and then uploaded to your SmartTOP control module via USB cable.

One of the best parts about this control module is how quickly it can be installed or uninstalled. Since this kit is fully plug and play, there is no need to cut into your factory wiring harness. This means when it’s time to sell your R8, you can easily uninstall the control module without a trace of it ever being there (assuming the buyer of your R8 doesn’t want all those awesome features).
