So how do you produce electricity with living plants? Simply by using the natural processes that already occur. In short: the plant produces organic matter via photosynthesis. Only part of this organic matter is then used for its own growth. The rest is excreted via the roots. Around the roots, bacteria feed on the organic matter and they release electrons. If you’re able to harvest the electrons into an electrode, you can couple the first electrode to a counter-electrode and build an electrical circuit, like in a battery. The electrons flow back into the natural system via the counter-electrode, so it’s completely circular. Because we use the natural processes around the plant, nature is not harmed. It works day and night, summer and winter. It only stops when the plant and its surroundings completely dry up or freeze over.
Sedum Oviferum
Sedum pachyphyllum is a ground-hugging succulent that spreads by rooting fallen stems and leaves. The succulent also goes by the names “Cerise Moonstones” or “Mauve Pebbles”. The short and stumpy round leaves have a light silvery-purple color; positioned at a right angles to the stem and curve upward, which in the wintertime, the tips of said leaves will turn into a notorious red.
Sedum Oviferum is a succulent that is very easy to grow and maintain. It is a resilient plant that can tolerate drought, moist and dry soils, and when given adequate exposure to sunlight and sufficient water, Cerise Moonstones will thrive outdoors. The Sedum Oviferum succulent grows at its best with regular exposure to sunlight. If Mauve Pebbles are planted in an area in a garden that gets plenty of sunlight per day, you will be rewarded with bright coloured leaves and flowers. In winter and early spring, Cerise Moonstones actively grow and produce blooms featuring red-orange petals and sepals that have the same pigmentation as the leaves. The flowers produced by Cerise Moonstones have a bell shape and a sugary fragrance.
Subterranean Clover
Trifolium subterraneum is also known as the subterranean clover (often shortened to sub clover), or subterranean trefoil. The plant's name comes from its underground seed development, a characteristic not possessed by other clovers. It can thrive in poor-quality soil where other clovers cannot survive.
This species is self-fertilizing, unlike most legume forage crops such as alfalfa and other clovers, which are pollinated by insects, especially honeybees. It is also grown in places where the extreme ranges of soil type and quality, rainfall, and temperature make the variable tolerances of sub clover especially useful.
Functionality
GR96 are powered by any plant of choosing on their back pod (the one we are going to discuss has a giant Sedum Oviferum and multiple sub clovers to operate) which is held in place by five strong suction cups. They’re manufactured for community gardens (strictly only one per garden), but they can also be bought by high class citizens for private properties, though at a way bigger cost since they’re financed by the city.
They can use their hands as scissors, shovels, and for watering (hence the big forearms, for storing the water), the latter which they do by dipping their hands in a bucket, opening the valve on their forearms so they can fill them up and releasing the water from the pinholes on their palms. Their “eyes” are actually a screen that can show plenty expressions, but the two circles above that peripheral screen are the real environmental sensors. They also have the same sensors on their ankles for inspecting the lower plants and ground without the need of kneeling, and their feet are shaped in a way so that weight is evenly distributed, lowering the chances of damaging a plant if they were to step on it. The ear like protrusions are small solar panels, used as backup energy (they don’t have any communication properties). Their speaker aka their “voice” is the mohawk-like structure on the top (which also has their series barcode 128 on the lower back), but when they speak there are these strips at the sides of the face mask that light up with the volume. The mask (non removable) has a set of pipes that are used for analyzing the air quality and humidity of the area surrounding them.
#my art#fusionsprunt#fusionsprunt oc#fusionsprunt clover#i’ll reblog this again later with their lore and alt design#the sedum oviferum is a fictional succulent i came up with since i couldn’t find one that i liked lmao#literally said fuck it it’s my oc i make the rules#[slaps a giant plant inside]#the energy gathering segment is based on a real article!#in its current state it can only power small leds#but i like to imagine a future where that energy could power full fledged robots :0

TW/Tags: Toxic relationship, Megatron is toxic to reader, Mild Cursing, implied noncon, implied abuse, possessiveness, controlling behavior, vomit, a bit of sexual assault (Wont last long), death threat, Baby trapped, Trapped relationship, that should be all.
It’s been a couple months now. You and Megatron were in your berth room as he looked over data pads. One of his cervos holding the data pad as his optics were narrowed and he had his usual frown on his dermas. You were placed between his legs. The side of your frame against his as your helm rested on his chest.
His legs spread as you rest between then, your cervos on your own lap as his other arm is wrapped around you. Keeping you close.
Your optics closed as Megatron continues to drain your spark as he plans to pull an old nighter. Only for you to get an urge and craving for some energon. Causing you to sit up but Megatrons arm that is around you stops you as he tried to pull you back.
Him whispering into your audio sensors as you places your cervos against his chest. He was annoyed.
”And where do you think you’re going? Hm?”
”Megatron I’m starving. I just need to eat is all.” He sets the data pad on the floor as he leaned forward as he spoke. “We Just Ate.” He pulled you against him once more, your helm close to his as you kept some distance between you both.
Your cervos still on his chest as he stared down at you.
”I just have a large craving is all. Please I need to eat.” He just stared down at you. The red lights from his optics covering your face plate in red as he stared down at you.
He soon stands up and grabs your cervo.
Taking you to the lunch room of his new ship and tells you to sit sit. As so you do. As he looks at what food they have. You started to feel nauseous. Against your better judgement. Your ran to teh sink.
Megatron heard you and looked at you as you ran to the sink. Energon from earlier that day pouring out of your intake as you held you stomach. Megatron coming up behind you only to see your situation. Placing both cervos on each side of your waist as he got closer looking over your shoulder.
You held onto your stanch as you stayed over the sink. Grabbing a napkin to clean your dermas.
Megatron gave you some energon to wash it out then takes you to Soundwave. Letting him do a scan of your stomach as your back rests against his frame as he gently holds you.
Sitting down to be sure you don’t try to “run” again.
And to your despair…you were with sparkling. Are are due in a few months now.
You’d feel and hear Megatron chuckle as his arms around you grow tighter. Then you feel him give the side of your neck a large kiss as he makes a ‘Muah’ sounds as he holds you tighter.
Your expression black as his cervos rests over your stomach…
Once returning to your shared berth room and Megatron gently pacing you on the berth. He lays next to you using one arm to support himself and places a cervo on your stomach. A grin on his dermas as he’d look at you and back to your stomach.
”Can you believe it. A little me- a little us in there growing!” You can hear the excitement in his voice as you lay there. But you face plate shows a different story.
He noticed and sits up as he stared at you. “Are you not happy?”
You’d sit up. Turning to let your legs dangle off the berth as you have your back to him. Hs optics narrowed seeming actually angry as you spoke. “Is a sparkling really what we need Megatron? You’re a leader now…and…and.” He’d move on the berth and grabbed your chin. Making you look at him.
“That’s besides the point! Are you trying to tell me you don’t want a sparkling.”
Now you’re angry. Your expression showing as you shove his arm away as you stand and face him. “All I ever wanted was to have a sparkling before this damn war. But you! You! Had to change. You had to start this!! You-“ You teared up as you spoke.
”You beat me when I make a small mistake. You mistreat me ever because I’m nothing more then a….A Conjunx!” You yelled as he sat on the berth.
His optics narrowed as he just had a frown on his dermas. Tears coming down your cheeks as your cervos stay on your stomach almost protectively.
Megatron then stands up as his expression stayed the same. When his cervo lifted you turned your head. To embrace the impact as you close your optics. Your cervos over your stomach as you wait for impact.
Megatron is physicality holding back and as he stared down at you with so much anger. He soon let his arm down as you continue to wait. His optics looking at your stomach as you protect your sparkling.
Megatron lets out a breath. Going around the berth and laying on his side of the berth. You opened your optics and looked at him.
Letting out a breath of relief as you sat on the berth. His back was toawrds you as he laid on his side. He’d close his optics still having his frown as he try’s to calm his anger.
Trying to think back to when things were better before his cause.
As you laid down. You were on your back. Your cervo still over your stomach and your other cervo over your chest.
You have to calm your nerves. The last thing you need is a sick sparkling in the future. You have a new duty now. Protect your little one their sire….no matter what lies ahead….
———————————————————————————
After a few days Megatron continued to let you go with him around the ship. One day he had to attend a meeting as told you he’ll only trust you this once.
To return to your shared berth room as many have to be in this meeting. And so you just bowed your head and walk to the berth room. Megatron watching you until you turn the corner.
As you made your way to the room. You’d then feel someone hug you from behind.
Startling you as you tried to scream. Only for Doubledealer to cover your intake. He then whispers into your audio sensors as he holds your frame tightly against his. Your back flushed against his.
“Easy sweetspark…..Be a good bot as don’t try to run hm? Don’t wanna accedntly shoot the little spark cookin’ in that belly of yours…”
He’d kiss the side of your neck letting out a few soft sighs and moans. You can feel the point of the gun against your hip as his other cervo rests on your stomach.
He then speaks as he can feel your frame shudder and shake as you keep your intake shut.
”Whenever you wish….I can get you out of here..I see how he treats you..How he hurts you. You know where to find me…and after I shall take very good care of you.”
He says in almost a threatening way. But why? Afte that he leaves. A grin on his dermas as he walked away. You let out a shaky sigh as you made it to the berth room. Trying so hard to not cry as you lay inn your berth. You were exhausted….
———————————————————————————
A few months have passed by. Things between you and Megatron still not…great.
You’d still with his occasional needs like make out and cuddles but after finding out you’re with sparkling, you refused to get intimate with him.
Which yes pissed him off but he understood why. You never told Megatron of your encounter with doubledealer.
You don’t need more stress and drama with your Conjunx to happen as you carry your sparkling.
At times when you and Megatron embrace each other you can still feel that moment and feeling of that passion you’ve missed from D-16.
You…enjoyed those small moments and you even at times loved the way he’d hold you.
That bit of D-16 still in Megatron when he’s so gentle with you. Megatron resorting to dry humping against your panel as he held your waist.
Though you’d always tell him to stop as it hurt with how the sparkling kept getting bigger and bigger. Little outer dents poking out of your stomach, back, and sides of your waist.
As time passes and your sparkling continues to grow inside you. You could only try to stay strong is it’s obvious while you sat on Megatrons lap. Either on the throne or any chair of his. He always has to have his cervo over your stomach.
Always saying he has to let ‘our’ sparkling get use to his touch as they grow over the months.
Even bragging to the other high guards how he was the biggest mech in the mining quarters. So his own sparkling being a big one makes sense if they truly belong to him.
Something he roared with pride and a grin on his dermas as he continues to hold you close against him.
And just like that….months went by. You were a bit stronger thanks for Megatron not draining so much energy from you as much.
As you laid there in the berth, trying to push your sparkling out of you as Megatron held your hand.
It’s been hours, but finally your sparkling was out. Soundwave helping out and cleaning up the sparkling as his little cassettes help him out.
Your sparkling is a girl. She looked almost just like her Sire. If not completely. Her optics were the same color. Having the same chest plate and legs. The rest of her the exact image of Megatron. And…she has a cog.
Megatron gently held his little sparkling as she cried until she saw him. Her optics opening a bit as she tried to stop crying.
Reaching up at his face as he had…the softest smile on his dermas. Has the others leave. Just leaving you three. He appeared to be almost crying through his optics.
His smile on his dermas soft ans he is struggling to hold in his tears.
You noticed this…but say nothing. Your cervo reaching to your sparkling. He’d kneel next to the berth letting you see her as the sparkling then sees you. Her smile growing brighter and as her cervo grabs at Megatrons chin, her other reaches for you as tears fall down your optics.
She is beautiful…you little life, your world, your everything…. But she will not be like her Sire. Even if it kills you.
Megatron made optics contact with you as he asks. “You pick the name sweetspark.”
That small moment his eyes turned yellow. Only flickering for just a second as he smiled down at you. Your sparklings coos being heard as she giggled. Gently biting at one of his digits.
You stared at her and thought. Finding the perfect name for your sparkling..
”Her name…is (name)”

Zero Gravity
NOTE - I have the same plot ideas for other as well, such as Drift (half way), Jetfire, Springer. They all are in progress – this chapter of Wheeljack might be a little short, but hey, I can do pt2 if anything, just wanted to throw out an idea before I forget
SUMMARY - an unexpected companion in a nameless galaxy, weird one.. but he didn't mind that
PAIRING - wheeljack x reader

The void beyond the patrol routes was the kind of darkness that didn’t merely lie still—it waited. A velvet black, stretched past reason, where starlight faded into murk and the fine glimmer of interstellar dust looked like the gaping jaws of something ancient, ready to swallow his ship whole
Wheeljack squinted his sensors as his craft drifted into a strange patch of amethyst-tinged gas. The silence was suffocating in its depth, the kind of quiet that didn’t just hush—it listened. Space like this had no business being empty. And yet…
Then came the flicker
A strange signal, pulsing at the very edge of his monitor, blinking in the corner like a nervous tic. The Jackhammer had picked up an interference wave—uncoded, unaffiliated. A ghost of something that shouldn’t have been there, crawling just along the edge of an uncharted nebula
No base. No colony. No reason for anything to be out there
“Single bio-signature… unaligned.”
“What the frag?” Wheeljack muttered, frowning at the nameless coordinates floating in the middle of nowhere—just empty black, dead air, and a flicker of something hovering still in the dust
He nudged the thrusters closer, cautious
That’s when he saw it
A small ship, ancient in design. Something pre-war, maybe even older. Its hull was scuffed from time and grazing debris, and its long solar fins stretched out lazily like the wings of some bird basking in a gravityless breeze
Wheeljack sent out a scan ping
“This is Autobot wrecker: Wheeljack. Identify yourself. Whose ship is this?”
Silence
Then—without his authorization—a vidline activated. His screen flickered to life.
“Hey… take it easy, will you? You’re scrambling my signal like a rookie with a javelin dish”
The voice was light, airy, with a wandering lilt—faintly amused, faintly tired. It belonged to a bot with a lean, graceful frame, clearly outdated in function but far from falling apart. Not a soldier. Not a worker drone. You looked like someone from a dream half-remembered. Your features, though mechanical, felt like they were made from stories rather than steel. And when you smiled, it wasn’t to greet him. It was like you were smiling at the stars behind him. Your optics reflected the colors of the nebula behind you, and in them… Wheeljack swore he saw the entire galaxy staring back
He'd met ghosts before. Data phantoms, black box echoes, war relics still pinging long after their pilots were scrap. But you? You were real. Real, and somehow more surreal than all of them combined
And you wouldn't stop talking like a poet who'd survived the apocalypse
“Sorry to disappoint—wasn’t a distress signal.” You lounged against your seat like you had nowhere else in the universe to be
“Then what the hell are you doing out here in no-bot’s-land?” Wheeljack narrowed his optics
You smiled. Not at him, but through him—like your attention stretched far beyond his metal hide, past the stars he came from and into something deeper
“Drifting,” you said simply. “Letting the gravity of life pull me wherever it pleases. It brought me here. What about you? Chasing something? Or running?”
He blinked, caught off-guard by the question. Then he snorted a laugh
“You talk like a philosopher. But you're flying a rustbucket through danger zones.” He glanced at the ship again. “Name’s Wheeljack"
“Nice name. Got some thrust to it” you replied. “Mine’s... well, nobody’s remembered it in a long time. You can call me whatever you like. I won’t mind"
“Alright, Won’t Mind, you seriously out here alone?”
“Been alone most of my life” you said it like talking about the weather. Casual. Unbothered. You tilted the vid-cam slightly, revealing the slow spin of stars outside your viewport, a celestial waltz that seemed to orbit you, not the other way around
Wheeljack watched, silent for a long moment
Then he sighed, a noise tinged with confusion and something a little closer to awe
“…You’re a strange one”
“And do you still want to know me?”
He smiled, helpless “Yeah. Yeah, I do"

"Things have changed while you slept, Citizen."
I had awoken with this phrase in my head. Things changed. They always did, of course. When you work the freighter teams, sub-light routes can take centuries. Aeons, maybe. Humans aren't designed for those kinds of travels. We'd eat a ships worth of food, and more in water. Our minds would grow agitated, or worse; bored.
Disasters usually start with bored humans.
So we slept. Our bodies were "spun down" while we slept, and fresh ones created, or 'spun up' when we made dirt-fall. Bodies break down, even when sleeping. They are great for wandering around a savannah, stabbing goats with sharp rocks. But travelling at something over ninety percent the speed of light? Even sleeping, the bodies would be crushed. So the bodies were discarded. Spun down to basic elements. Used as fuel, as propellent, as a thousand other things.
But even asleep, minds are alive. Alive, and wondrously active, and stored in a ships central data spine, so that they suffer nothing on those long trips, but are still valuable at helping the various A.I's that makeup the crew do their roles. A dozen, maybe two dozen personalities are held in most spines, forming tiny islands of humanity hurtling through the darkness.
My ship, the "Gate of Dawn" was old. She had been old when I had joined the crew, aeons ago. But, for the past several thousand cycles, she had nosed herself towards home, towards old Earth. Other freighters we had passed had whispered of odd tidings, but none knew much. Some of the A.I.s hinted that Earth's government might now be Artificials. Perhaps, some puzzled, lightspeeds shackles had finally been broken without the punishment of backward time travel attached.
So we moved towards our ancient birthplace, asleep, but mapping the stars in front of us, swimming in the radio signals of a thousand thousand colonies, fairly bursting with song.
When I had noticed Sol dimming, it's light diminishing steadily, I had thought our ships ancient sensors had begun to fail. But it wasn't just one set of sensors. All of them seemed to show the same thing; a strange darkening of old Sol. Then Jupiter burst into a warm glow, and then Saturn. Impossibly, both gas giants were now small red dwarfs, faintly glowing from ahead. Earth, if it still existed, now had three suns.
A year out, and our sleep was disrupted by thoughts.
We had always knows Humans and A.I.s had been around. The A.I.s were now a vast cloud around the solar system. Strange satellites that looked like living things, like coral reefs, floated in the darkness. Here, they seemed to gather sunlight and signal one another, while closer in, a different kind of human shaped themselves by adding DNA to themselves from a vast catalog of animals, plants, fungi, and even artificial strings. It was these folk who were sending us thoughts. How, I cannot tell you. Even the ship herself was unaware that sending thought was possible through anything other than speech, and even that wasn't perfect. This was something new, we muttered, unhappily.
Worse ,these people, somewhat human looking, but different, alien, now called Earth home.
And we ancient sailors were about to meet them.
