Shout out to last year (I think) when I realized I was SOMEWHERE on the aro/ace spectrum (I think maybe demi in some way? but I have no friends or options of love interests irl so we get a roulette babes) because my friend @lunanitic-moon asked me how if I was an allo (I forget the main term...) how I didn't know what a crush felt like when talking about characters having crushes .

I just assumed it was being very good at Not getting crushes on online friends and internet people. Because after a REALLY shit Ex situation as a child with online dating, I had made it a goal to never online date again. So I just assumed I was REALLY good at that. And. I have no friends irl so like, couldnt test that out that way either (I didn't and still don't entirely understand celebrity crushes honestly, which might have been a sign. Maybe). Bonus! The autism.

and then I started talking with @weirdbroski and the realization of "being viscerally uncomfortable shipping yourself with a character, but shipping an oc that's similar enough everyone just calls them your sona ,because it gives a good level of separation from yourself" MIGHT mean Something (not the case for everyone I'm sure! But also this was my experience with some stuff left out)

The pipeline of "aggressive Aro / ace ally because it sounds nice enough whats the damn problem" to "oh okay that was just Foreshadowing"
