Spindleshipping is age-gap? Huh. I remember I had a phase over that once and was told that too. But to me, I was running off the ages in the manga in which the age-gap was like. four years? Once you’re in your 20s or something it’s generally not problematic. And if you run off the Let’s Go timeline or apply that timeline to the anime (as they’re both based on Pokémon Yellow) then as the Kantrio started their journey earlier, (by exactly 4 years I THINK an NPC might have said) then the age gap is essentially non-existent (even if I hallucinated that screenshot, since it’s still set to make them older in favor of Chase/Elaine.) anyways, you’re on anon. So am I. I generally could care less about what someone ships unless if it’s really wild to me, in which case I’ll just shrug and move on. It’s fiction. But I’m always open to civil discussions and ideas, even if I’m no longer writing a ship (since in the end, any romance would go against the theme of the fic) the phase WAS there and these two still have a solid relationship and I’d be happy to talk about it or share fun art and things I found :D only five or so people? I never see any new posts in either characters tag, but there’s some old art in the ship tag, you are your friends really are closeted in rare pair hell 🫡
