Duality of Rarijack

It's been a hot minute since I finished a fully rendered pic but man was this fun!

We're trying out monthly art challenges on the Discord server and for February it's obviously Love/Hearts and Hooves Day. I may be late for actual Valentine's Day but it's still February so it counts.

I adore the Hearts and Hooves Day episode with the CMC and wanted to include them. Scootaloo dearly wants to be Rainbow's wingwoman (without poor Rainbow's knowledge). The setting it supposed to be the CMCs (mainly Scootaloo) faking a cheesy love letter and organizing a meetup between Spitfire and Rainbow. Sweetie Belle is all in for it and thinks they are just too adorable. Applebloom is probably the only one still remembering what a disaster their first time messing with couples and matchmaking was.

And Spitfire is just a bit disappointed it's not a real love letter she received.

I think these four really get along and often hang out together (as much as their schedules allow)

They could also have a sort of double date, but that's for another time :)

I've missed working on my nextgens so here are some quick base edits of one of my Nextgen AU pairings! Rainbow Dash and Spitfire are an absolute power couple, the two of them run the Wonderbolt Academy like a tight ship, with Spitfire in charge of teaching formal technique and finesse while Rainbow Dash focuses more on helping students build endurance and speed. Outside of the Academy, they're both still active Wonderbolt performers, and spend a good part of the year on tour, putting together shows all across Equestria. Rainbow Dash has moved out of Ponyville and back into Cloudsdale to be close to the Academy, and because she and Spitfire wanted to put their son, Corkscrew, in the most elite pegasus academies as soon as possible. Still, the two of them kept Rainbow Dash's Ponyville home, and will live there in the off-season, when the performances are all done and the Academy has been let out for the holidays. They are dedicated to each other and their careers, but their relationship with their son has suffered due to the immense pressure put on him to perform at their level or better.

Welcome to the DislikedVerse, aka the Disliked Ships AU. This is in no way meant to be a platform for hate, it's just an excuse for me to make some cute or interesting fankids for MLP ships I don't particularly care about.

Anyway, these two are Spitfire's kids. The first is Hot Shot, her 17 year old daughter who was the result of a one night stand between Spitfire and Rainbow Dash. Not long after her first foal was born, Dash ended up having some marital problems with her spouse Zephyr Breeze and went to go spend the night at Spitfire's home. The two of them got a little hot and bothered, stuff happened and both of them came to regret what they did the following morning. Dash was married and Spitfire was having an on/off relationship with Braeburn ever since she met him at a Buckball tournament, so they both agreed that what happened that night must NEVER happen again.

11 months later came the birth of Hot Shot. She's a very spunky mare who could easily kick your butt at a game of basketball. Hot Shot also loves spicy food, like REALLY loves spicy food. Tabasco sauce is basically her booze. Spitfire never bothered to find out who her sire was but likes to believe that she's actually Braeburn's since the timeline still matches up, plus her mane does look kinda similar to his. And given how happy Braeburn is to be her dad, Spitfire just doesn't have the heart to tell him that there's a chance Hot Shot may not actually be his.

The colt is Fireside, Spitfire and Braeburn's 11 year old son. Fireside is undoubtedly Braeburn's son, being a very enthusiastic and cheerful boy but sometimes knows when to be serious. Like his older (half) sister, Fireside's talent ends up being sports-related, his being playing buckball.

These are my mlp fankid ocs!!! The first two at the top are Big Mac and Sugar Belle's kids (as of yet unnamed). Next is Applejack and Rarity's son Crispin and their whole family including their daughter Gala. Then there's my SpitDash family with their daughter Pilot light, my SunLight daughter Sunrise Glitter, and my StarTrix daughter Spellinda. Next I have a pic of 3 of Sunrise, Pilot light, and Gala together; my CheesePie twins Banana Cream and Rhubarb; and Twilight playing with baby Sunrise

It's been years and I'm still disappointed that Scoots wasn't officially or at least implied as adopted by Rainbow. So at least in my mind she lives with Rainbow and obviously gets to celebrate the Holidays with her and Spits.

Generally, Spitfire likes pet names, including "Spitty" which Rainbow uses most often. But at work, she's too afraid that somepony might hear them, and it pisses her off that it doesn't seem like a problem for Rainbow. Someday Spitty will stop caring so much about it too ૮₍ ˃ ⤙ ˂ ₎ა

Since I have some base edits done of Corkscrew's moms at this point, I thought it was about time he got an updated reference! He's one of my faves and I really wanna do more with him : )

Corkscrew is the only son of Rainbow Dash and Spitfire. Though he was an accidental pregnancy, as neither of them ever planned on sacrificing their career goals to become a mother, his early talent in flying piqued both of their interest and sparked the idea that Corkscrew was their legacy- responsible for carrying on the work they've done in the Wonderbolts after they've retired. Corkscrew, though, has no interest in the Wonderbolts or in the strict discipline the recruits are forced to adhere to. For most of his childhood, he tried to meet his moms' impossible standards, but since nothing he did was ever 'his best,' he bucked the career entirely and turned in his pin and uniform as soon as he turned eighteen. After a massive fight between him and his parents about 'wasting his potential,' he left home and settled in a trailer in the rural deserts outside of Las Pegasus. He's free of the pressure here, and spends most evenings out in the desert with a cooler of beer, drinking and staring up at the clear night sky. He still enjoys trick flying, sure, but he's a solo act now, and does whatever he pleases with his life as soon as his trick shows end.
