I am so bone tired that my skeleton has already hit the sack!
I have aches and pains in places that I did not even know that I had!
The other day, I got the trailer taken apart and went to get new parts. That was a saga that I already told you of.
Today, I went to put in the new parts. HAH! Nothing fit properly! I wound up using a four ton come along, TWO jacks, two jack stands, all the tools that I expected to need and, to make matters worse, a six foot long steel pry bar!
Everything had to be done, re done and then cussed at from under the whole thing where I was trying to get things to fit!
Finally I got the spring mounted to the axle properly (there's only one way that it can go). One end was in its bracket and the other? The one with the eye the bolt has to go through? Over a quarter of an inch off line!!
That took work with the four ton, and a jack lifting the OTHER SIDE, to allow any possible movement in the mounts at the other end of the axle. Also, prying with the six foot bar, smaller pries and finally, whacking it with a hammer! That got it into the bracket!
The bolt holes? Oh, those. Between some lift/pulling with the four ton and pressure applied by the hydraulic jack, I got the outside hole and the spring lined up! Not so easy as telling it, I assure you!
After getting the bolt through the spring, it would not come out on the inside of the bracket! it was almost a quarter of the bolt face out of line. More pulling, prying, cussing and swearing later, I was hit by an inspiration that OSHA would have utterly nixed!
I stuck that hydraulic floor jack in at an awkward angle, pressing against the frame and only the guilty side of the spring! That did it, sorta. It was still a pain to get the bolt through. Then I got to wind the nut on with hand tools because the impact wrench would not fit the space.
Then I went around tightening everything up, which took a while because of using hand tools for the reason above.
Got a little final clean up and a water haul tomorrow.
I am one dead De Writer. Fatigue and aches and pains. Hope that sleep fixes things.

Some cars deserve to be immortalized. More than digital noise or passing fancy, they draw their inspiration from the timeless. The classic. 
  This 240Z certainly qualifies as one of these cars. While it has some innovations and forward thinking design elements, it also honors the tradition and legacy of Datsun’s Z car heritage. Car owner Dennis wanted a Z that could be as menacing on the street as it was on the track. In looking to manifest his dreams into reality, he was fortunate enough to meet aspiring builder Kyle Kuhnhausen. The Peter Brock homage striping is as evocative and respectful of the Z’s motorsport heritage as it is a tasteful modern touch of racer bravado. I dig it. Those famous side stripes actually start on the hood at the vents and then cascade over the fender and down the side forming the Brock stripes we are all familiar with. A killer design cue that is at once forward thinking and period correct. Nicely done. 
Second) 
Let’s talk about that metal work. The Aero is mean, functional, and gives the car a seriously provocative stance. What’s more – it’s designed to just rip/break away cleanly in the case of a momentary lapse in driver skill (for example paying a visit to say, China Beach at the end of the straight at Mid Ohio). Well played Kyle, well played. However, as fantastic as that aero is, it is nothing compared to the beautifully executed roll cage.
