Oh yep that's pretty. Dragonfly absolutely gives one of these to Livi. Livi cherishes it. (And uses it to sharpen quills.)

My Top 3 Spyderco’s For EDC

Spyderco Dragonfly 2

 When I first held the Spyderco Dragonfly 2 in my hand, I thought it was too small. However, I overlooked the small stature of the knife and decided to carry it for a couple weeks. After a few days the practicality of the Spyderco Dragonfly 2 won me over. Weighing in at 1.2 oz. 33g, I never realized the Dragonfly 2 was in my pocket. At my work, the Dragonfly 2 flew under the radar and didn't catch the eye of my supervisors (supposed to use safety knives), making the Dragonfly 2 a mainstay for my EDC work kit. Not to mention when this small of a knife comes with VG10 steel and a legit finger choil, the Spyderco Dragonfly 2 sold me as a blue collar EDC knife. Being that the Spyderco Dragonfly 2 sells for around $50, I personally had to buy me one. Get Yours Here

Spyderco Delica 4

  I sometimes need a knife bigger than the Spyderco Dragonfly 2, and while there are size differences between the Dragonfly 2 and Delica 4, I figured, for a working knife, I need to jump to the Delica 4. I'm still getting a blade in VG 10 steel, but with the ability to take on bigger tasks that the Spyderco Dragonfly 2 couldn't. The Delica 4 weighs in at 2.5 oz, which still goes virtually unnoticed in my pocket. I love the Spyderco Delica 4 because it’s a universal knife, everyone from a Boy/Girl Scout to my Grandparents can find use in this knife. I've used the Spyderco Delica 4 to slice fruit and vegetables, cut paracord and rope, shave sticks, cut boxes, and honestly, do a ton of other EDC tasks that knives in this price range can't compete with. Which brings me to my next point, the PRICE! I'm really kind of a cheapo when it comes to buying knives, but seriously at around $65, you can't beat the Spyderco Delica 4. I saw the practicality in the Delica 4’s medium size and knew it would be a top performer in my weekly rotation. Available Here

Spyderco Paramilitary 2

  Last, but not least, the Spyderco Paramilitary 2 is what I consider my EDC heavy hitter. Seriously, the Paramilitary 2 can be relied upon to obviously do the task my Spyderco Dragonfly 2 can do, but also be ready for the Post Apocalyptic world. Do you think I'm joking? There are videos around with this knife being put through its paces, even beating out the lockup of the Axis lock. If only I knew about this knife in my Army days, it would have been my EDC 100% OF THE TIME. S30V steel is one thing that attracted me to the Spyderco Paramilitary 2 (or S110V), in addition to its size, which is somewhere I'd say between the Delica 4 and Endura, but weighing in at 3.75 oz (heavier than the other two, but still practical). I think it’s safe to say that there isn't a task I haven't been able to do with the Spyderco Paramilitary 2, well, except tasks that I wouldn't normally do with a folding knife. I like my Spyderco Paramilitary 2 for the simple fact that it's a super premium knife at only a $130 price point. While that is expensive for me, I can justify spending my money on the Spyderco Paramilitary 2 when I'm in the market for a knife of this caliber. Great Price on Spyderco Paramilitary 2 Here

?  ?  ?  WHOA  !  i've  always  seen  the  parallels  between  edith “eden” hong,  the  twenty two  year  old cisfemale  and  nemesis  plus  ,  they  look  just  like  park sooyoung.  from  their  spyderco dragonfly,  to  their  3.25 gpa,  some  would  even  notice  how  their  integrity, bullheadedness, and authority  connect  perfectly  !  i  don't  know  about  you  but  i  can't  wait  to  see  what  olympus  brings  to  her   !

okay so here’s the story:

edith hong was born, early in the afternoon of an overcast and snowy january 11th, to two lawyers in chicago, illinois

her mother was a prominent criminal defence attorney, and her father a divorce lawyer located in the north side of the city

so i guess it was a tad unsurprising when by the time she was three years old, her parents had decided that divorce was the way to go for them and edith found herself in her mother’s custody

honestly, being so young when the separation happened, she doesn’t remember living with her father all that much

she still visited with the father, and eventually, her new step-mother, up until they decided to move away to new york while edith was in high school and she hasn’t seen much of them since

as their only child, all of her parents’ expectations fell on eden’s shoulders growing up and it only got worse once it was just her and her mom

with the weight of a failed marriage hanging over her mother’s head, all while her ex-husband had seemingly moved on, the pressure increased for edith to be something worthwhile, something to be proud of, something worthy of the hong name

it really soured their relationship, to be honest, and edith grew to be quite bitter towards her mother

towards the end of her time at high school, she tried to branch out from the image her mother was pushing on her and started to go by ‘eden’ with her friends

she still got into university double majoring in forensic science and chemistry though, mostly out of spite and a will to prove that she could become ““successful”” and ““well educated””, even if she didn’t fit the mould her mother wanted for her

lil tidbits i couldn’t fit in:

eden got used to looking out for herself relatively quickly, since after her parents split there was no one around to look after her if her mom was busy with a case

she holds a grudge ,, really easy but not for no reason, ya feel ?? even if it’s not a great reason she’ll wrap her head around it an convince herself that she’s in the right

she’s kinda That Bitch™ as much as i didn’t want her to be lmao like ,, you don’t wanna get on her bad side her most prized possession is her spyderco dragonfly 2 folding knife so she’s a bad bitch ig

One of the substances I work with doesn’t play well with ZDP-189 at all. My poor little Spyderco Dragonfly still has rust spots from a month ago.

I’ve been coating it in CLP or ballistol and it’s taken a lot off but there’s some really stubborn spots.

The blade also chipped near the tip.. not cool either. Think I’m going to stick with the nicer steels.
