I think it says a lot that Ahsoka was at Padme’s funeral. This was right after Order 66; she presumed every Jedi she knew was dead. She was on the run after surviving a genocide attempt! But she still went to her friend’s funeral… her only friend who got a proper funeral. They had their moments in “The Clone Wars” but this was where there bond truly shined for me. She stuck her neck out for Padme again and again in TCW. Now she’s doing it again, so she could pay her respects. She truly did love and respect her.

As much as I love the semi-sympathetic light they paint Dooku in in Tales of the Jedi, I kind of dislike it because I have a hard time rhyming Dooku "This Republic is Corrupt and Doesnt Serve Its People and The Jedi are Complicit" Serenno with Darth "Let's Build an Empire on the Backs of Slaves" Tyranus.
But you know what would fix that?
Acknowledge how racist Dooku is.
And Dooku is very racist, at least in legends. He's a huge human supremacist and strongly dislikes aliens. If The Clone Wars or Tales of the Jedi had just made that explicit, it whould have made sense why Dooku believes the corrupt republic should be toppled and replaced with an institution that actually serves its people, but is also okay with enslaving a portion of those people.

So I was watching Tales Of The Jedi and during the first episode I cried. It took me some time to realize why I got so sad over the really sweet story of baby Ahsoka, when I realized: her parents loved her so so much and it was obvious she was surrounded by people who cared for her. Unfortunately, Ahsoka’s parents would never see her grow up to be a magnificent person and (in my opinion) everything that a Jedi should be. They wouldn’t be there for her and even though it’s an honor for them to have a Jedi child they lost their daughter to the Jedi Order as she has no memory of them and their love for her.I
I think that the Jedi Order fails to consider the parents of the force sensitive children they find. I cant imagine how they feel after giving their children away to become ‘keepers of peace’ (at the end of the day they are soldiers, especially during the Clone Wars). Yes, I know it’s an honor and many are willing to sacrifice their own feelings for the sake of the galaxy, but how do they really feel one day, three months, fifteen years after they have not heard any news from their beloved baby.
I just feel so bad for the parents.
