Unshakable – Ain’t No Ghost Messin’ with da Polo-Drones
Aight, so here’s the deal, bruv. Mack ain’t scared of no ghosts. Ain’t got the space in me thick skull for doubts. I just train, hit, win. Simple.
But them Phantom Aces? They don’t play normal. Whole team moves like they already seen the game before it even happens. Players swear the ball just vanishes mid-air, or their swings go straight through like they’re hittin’ fookin’ smoke.

Mind games.
Which means—gotta get brainproof, bruv. And if there’s one thing Mack knows? When shite gets mental, PDU-070 handles that.
Flippin’ the Switch – From Mack to PDU-070
Aight, so here’s the thing. I ain’t just Mack. Not really. See, Master’s got me runnin’ in different modes. This week, I’m Mack—dumb, cocky, built for winnin’. But deep down? Under all that swagger? I’m still a fookin’ Polo-Drone.
So when it’s time to think, plan, strategize?
Mack don’t do that. PDU-070 does.
I step into the Hive, and the second I pull that black rubber polo over me sweaty, pumped-up frame, everything shifts.
Ain’t no cocky grin, no flexin’. Ain’t no Mack.
Just PDU-070.
I stand at attention, smooth and precise. The Hive hums with activity—drones movin’ with perfect synchronization, no hesitation, no doubt. Absolute order. Absolute efficiency.
073 (Tamerlan @polo-drone-073), 151 (Alex @polo-drone-151), and 125 (Trevor @polo-drone-125) stand before me—three other Level 2 Polo-Drones. More than just players. More than just athletes. Elite fookin’ operators of the Hive.

Alex. Power. Precision. Cold fookin’ efficiency. Tamerlan. Tactical. Analytical. No wasted movement. Trevor. Loyal. Supportive. Always pushin’ the bros, makin’ sure we stay on track.
And me?
I am order. I am execution. I ensure the Hive adapts.
I nod. “Opponent utilizes deception, distortion, and predictive disruption. Objective: Reinforce instinctive execution. Eliminate hesitation. Prevent perception manipulation.”
073’s visor flickers—instant calculation. “Solution required. Training protocols must be developed for immediate reinforcement.”
151 nods. “Mental interference must not impact decision-making. Physical instinct must override.”
125 grins. “Don’t forget the mindset, bruv. Ain’t just ‘bout outplayin’ ‘em—it’s ‘bout keepin’ every lad hyped, focused, unshakable.”
The Training – Built to Break the Phantom Aces
Two key problems. 1️⃣ The Aces fook with perception. 2️⃣ They make players hesitate.
Solution? Train in worse conditions than what them ghost pricks can throw at us.

The previous trainings already got me in top shape, bruv.
💪 Double gym time? Power through anything. 🔥 Blindfold trainin’? Me body reacts faster than me brain. 🏃 Sprint drills? I’m fast as fook, and I don’t slow down.
But now? Now we make sure I’m unshakable.
1️⃣ Sensory Overload – “Chaos Ain’t Nothin’ to Mack”
Step One? Fook up reality.
I strip the polo off—Mack’s back. And the second I switch modes, the drones start makin’ my life a fookin’ nightmare.
✅ Strobe lights flashin’, messin’ up depth perception. ✅ Weird echoes playin’ in me earpiece, distorting commands. ✅ Shadows movin’ where they shouldn’t—projections makin’ it look like players were runnin’ at me when they weren’t. ✅ Random fookin’ distractions—balls shootin’ outta nowhere, alarms screamin’, even Trevor randomly shoutin’ "Let’s fookin’ go, bruv!" just to see if I’d flinch.
But guess what?

Mack. Don’t. Fookin’. Flinch.
I ain’t trackin’, ain’t anticipatin’. Just reactin’.
Grounder? Snatch it clean. Pop fly? Lock in, body movin’ before I even know it. Pitch hurtlin’ toward me at 100 MPH? Slam that fooker into orbit.
By the time I’m done, 073 nods, barely hidin’ its approval. “Cognitive disruption had no significant impact. You are prepared.”
Damn fookin’ right I am.
2️⃣ Mental Anchoring – “Stay in the Fookin’ Present”
073 says the Aces make players second-guess. Mess with time. Make ‘em feel like they already lost before they even swing.
We ain’t havin’ that.
I switch back to PDU-070—rubber polo back on, body still buzzin’ from the drills. The Hive reinforces the solution.
151 and 073 hook me up to a reinforcement loop. It ain’t brainwashin’—not full-on, anyway. Just perfect mental calibration.
🚨 ”Ain’t no past. Ain’t no future. Only NOW.” 🚨 ”Mack don’t think. Mack don’t doubt. Mack just plays.” 🚨 ”Ball comes. Mack reacts.”
Every time I start anticipatin’? BZZZT—shock collar reminder. Every time I dwell on a missed play? BZZZT—reinforce the mantra.
Ain’t no Phantom Ace gonna make me doubt, hesitate, or overthink.

Trevor, meanwhile, got the hype rollin’.
“Fookin’ SMASH IT, BRUV!” “‘EY, YOU MESS UP? DON’T MATTER—NEXT PLAY, NEXT WIN!” “Ain’t no space for doubt, Mack! YOU ALREADY GOT THIS!”
And you know what? It fookin’ works.
This shite? It’s gonna work for the whole squad.
When Tamerlan (073) steps up to bat next time? His mind’s locked in. When Alex (151) snatches a ball outta the air? No second-guessin’. When Trevor (125) hypes up the team? No hesitation, just pure momentum.
The Hive is preppin’ us for the win.
Mission Fookin’ Accomplished
I step outta the Hive feelin’ like a fookin’ machine. No doubts. No hesitation.
Just Mack. Just Gold. Just WINNIN’.
I don’t care what tricks them Phantom Aces pull. I don’t care if the stadium fookin’ disappears. I don’t care if them pricks got superpowers.
Coz Mack? Mack just fookin’ plays.

🎤 HALFTIME SHOW – A GOLDEN SPECTACLE 🎤
As the teams retreated to their locker rooms, the stadium transformed into a dazzling golden spectacle.
The headlining act started the half-time show with a memorable performance before introducing the Gold Preppy Choir.
The Gold Preppy Choir worked quickly taking their places, their harmonized chants rising like a sacred anthem, filling the air with an almost spiritual intensity. Leading them was Elijah and Maximus. (Gold Anthem lyrics by Maximus/PDU-070)

The stadium erupted in applause as The Golden Preppy Choir, who had to quickly exit to allow for the brief performance of Golden Superman and The Emerald Hulk. The two played out a choreographed fight scene that was meant to promote a new movie and also be time filler in between acts. As the fight scene came to a close, the shining black latex of PDU-073 and PDU-151 began to lead the Golden Army’s Polo Drones to the field. 
The Polo-Drones took center stage, executing a precise, synchronized performance, their movements so sharp and fluid they bordered on hypnotic. As 073 and 151 led the performance, 110 and 039 gave queues from the command room. The Polo drones in their shimmering level 2 outfits (most not active) brought a presence few could look away from. Then switching over to level 1 the polo wearing drones finished their performance with a display of perfected synchronicity.

As the Polo drones left in a sea of applause, The Emerald Titans’ selected choir took the stage. Their striking green robes glimmering in the spotlights. They performed a chilling, well-timed choir performance of “One Short Day” from Wicked. The Titans fans were singing together with the choir. Even some of the Golden Team was uplifted by the positive vibes. 
Then came the Golden Mascot Performance—an electrifying mix of dance, lights, and mesmerizing visuals that left the crowd entranced, drawn deeper into the rhythm of the Golden Army’s spirit. The performance wasn’t just entertainment—it was a declaration.

🔥 Gold isn’t just a football team—it’s a movement. A force. A dynasty. 🔥
The crowd was on its feet, the Golden Army roaring louder than ever. Milo (151) led the golden pups in a synchronized cheer, The Golden Knight stood at midfield, sword raised, rallying the faithful, while Leander (Dorado) prowled the sidelines, roaring toward the Titans' section.
Even Titanus, the Emerald Titans' colossus, remained motionless for a moment, as if acknowledging the sheer force of Gold’s presence. But then the Birdmen and Titanus led by Ruben (48), Head Mascot of the Titans joined in for a joint performance. The two teams coordinated and played off one another in a playful show of friendly rivalry. The Golden Knight and Titanus at center stage multiple times making playful jabs at each other. The children of the crowd were cheering on their teams’ mascots in unmatched volumes.

As the mascots piled out, the announcers made a declaration. “Closing out Half-Time we have our headliners accompanied by up-and-coming rapper, Ambrose.” Ambrose entered followed by some men in black suits and gas masks. They had a vague resemblance to the Polo drones, but not enough to be easily confused.
You could see the pups moving to the sidelines, their ears perked at the name of their former Handler. Ambrose took the mic and started performing his new rap song, Golden Bros Revolution.

The song was about how Ambrose became a successful rapper and was slowly conquering the world. He was ready to stand on his own thanks to the things he learned while part of the Golden Army’s brotherhood. Multiple golden bros, and polo drones were performing with Ambrose’s background dancers. Ambrose made special mentions of Brody, Spencer, and Phoenix/Zeus. Three key members of the Golden Army who helped him through his journey.

There was a lot of booty shaking, grinding, and sensual motions. Clearly not for all audiences. As a section of the song riffed off “Who Let The Dogs Out” the Golden Army’s pups came out dancing too. Ambrose made special mention of Buzz, Bolt, Chevy, Vysor, Daniel/Fenrir, Ace, Spike, Rocky, and the others. The pups danced and howled with their former handler. 
Ambrose’s stellar performance came to a close with fireworks on both sides. Gold and black on one side and emerald green on the other.  
But now, the break was over. The game was about to resume.

Trey squinted through the tinted window as the plane began its descent into Miami International Airport. The city stretched out beneath him—sun-kissed, neon-splashed, and warm with memories. His heart thudded against his chest, not from jet lag, but anticipation. It had been a long time since he’d seen PDU-055/Christian.
Back in London, the transformation into a chav had been complete—tracksuits, gold chains, shaved fade, attitude sharp as a switchblade. But this trip was different. For the first time in ages, Trey peeled away that persona.

The fitted linen shirt, crisp gold slacks, and brushed-back hair felt foreign at first, but freeing. He was rediscovering someone he used to be—before the stadiums, before the Polos, before London. As he stepped out into the Miami heat, the scent of salt and hibiscus swirled around him.

A sleek convertible idled at the curb. Christian leaned against it, arms crossed, a soft smile on his face.
“Oi oi,” Trey grinned, slipping into old habits before catching himself. “Sorry—uh, hey.”
Christian chuckled. “I don’t mind the accent. You look… good. Different.”
“So do you,” Trey replied, voice lower, more sincere.

They didn’t rush. They didn’t need to. The car cruised down Ocean Drive, the breeze fluttering through their shirts, Pride flags swaying from balconies and lamp posts. The world around them shimmered in rainbow hues, but they weren’t headed for the crowds or parades. Not this time.
Christian had something more intimate in mind.

A tucked-away spot at the southern end of South Beach—fewer tourists, more peace. They spread a light blanket over the sand as the sun began to dip. The sky turned a sherbet gradient: tangerine, rose, and lavender. A small picnic sat between them—fresh ceviche, cold rosé, and pastelitos.
They talked. Really talked. About London, about change, about how Trey felt like he was constantly switching skins to suit where he was. About how Christian had stayed steady in Miami, always keeping the door open for Trey to walk through again.

When the stars appeared and the moon rose silver over the ocean, they lay back together, Christian resting his head on Trey’s chest.
“I missed this,” Trey murmured, one hand in Christian’s curls. “Not just you—this feeling. Being… real.”
Christian looked up. “You’ve always been real to me. No matter the accent, no matter the clothes.”
Trey leaned in, and their lips met softly—no spectacle, no fireworks. Just warmth and certainty.
As Pride Month unfolded around them in vibrant celebration, Trey and Christian had found their own quiet corner of joy. No need for masks, no need to perform. Just two men, under Miami stars, rediscovering who they were—and who they could be—together.

Grayden’s Struggle (Part 1): Grayden’s Long Day
Grayden, the head mascot and roster manager of the Golden Army, had recently taken on a lot of tasks for the team. As Head Mascot he had to keep the Golden Pups in line and try to coordinate all of the mascots, then as Roster Manager he had to coordinate with the office staff to ensure the roster was up-to-date. That was on top of being a member of team management and helping to direct and structure management meetings. Grayden was exhausted some days, it felt like he spent all his time making sure the team was successful.
But things only got weirder for Grayden, after the team’s winter away game that Grayden was in charge of, he started having dreams. He was in his mascot costume when a snowball fight broke out during practice. That wasn’t uncommon, Grayden helped the team many times during soccer, football, and other practices in the snow. The team did love a friendly snowball fight. The weird part was though, when he removed his golden knight helmet he didn’t look like himself.

Grayden, about a week after joining the Golden Army and meeting Herc, kept his hair blond and his facial hair trimmed pretty short. He had some shadow, but not a full beard or mustache. But in this dream, the man that was supposed to be him had brown hair and a full well maintained beard. Who was this man? Why was Grayden dreaming about him? Was he him? Grayden tried to remember before he joined the team. His hair used to be brown, it was his natural color. However, he never styled his hair and facial hair like the man in his dreams. That man looked like some fairy tale prince. He looked suave and majestic.
Maybe it was just the stress of trying to balance everything getting to him. Grayden knew talking to his bros would help, he went to Daniel #16. Daniel was always calm and welcoming. Grayden enjoyed talking to Daniel as they tended to see eye to eye on most things. Daniel was a great listener whenever Grayden had ideas.

But as Grayden approached Daniel, the normally welcoming demeanor of Daniel looked a little annoyed.
“Grayden, what have you been up to? I had to lead practice since you were late.” Daniel said, slightly annoyed.
“Sorry bro, I haven’t been sleeping well. I’ve been having these weird dreams.” Grayden responded, feeling a little bad for Daniel having to pick up his slack.
“Bro, I’m not angry. You know I’d do anything for you, next time just tell me first. But I haven’t seen you in drone training either.” Daniel replied, his caring nature starting to come through.
“I haven’t felt super connected lately. It feels like every time I look there’s just another task to do, another practice to lead, more mascots to corral. I just haven’t had time to let 084 out.” Grayden stated, with a tinge of annoyance in his voice.
“Bro, I have training covered and there’s no management meeting today. Relax and go let 084 do a workout. I heard 070 was there. I’m sure he’d assist.” Daniel responded, before going back to leading the soccer practice.
Grayden left as Daniel tried to give the goalkeepers some pointers. He moved to his gym locker where he had one of his rubber polos stored. The rubber polo would bring out PDU-084, Grayden’s drone persona. Grayden had a stronger will and ability to control his drone persona than most on the team. He had to switch between being himself and PDU-084 a lot to keep up appearances, but he did let PDU-084 help him remain focused during workouts, training, and office work when needed. The drone’s emotional suppression and obedience to the team and the Hive helped Grayden forget about his stress of trying to keep the team afloat some days. He was thankful for that rubber polo shirt after some of the days management meetings led to arguments.
Grayden felt the cool embrace as he lowered the rubbery polo shirt over his head. The smooth rubber clung to his skin as it slid down. Grayden switched into his matching shorts as PDU-084 started to take over its host.
PDU-084 operational. Host Grayden is currently suppressed. PDU-084 has a new objective. It will engage in physical training to strengthen its body for the Hive and to alleviate its host’s stress. 084 will link with 070 for physical training to achieve unity and perfection.
Entering the gym, PDU-084 saw PDU-070. The bald, muscular, French drone was a busy body just like Grayden. Maximus, 070’s host, was one of the key members of office staff, management, right fullback for the team, and recently had also joined the mascots. If anyone understood the aspect of balancing so many tasks for the team that Grayden had to do some days, it would be Maximus. PDU-084 greeted 070 and the two engaged in joint physical training.

A regimen of weight lifting, squats, lunges, burpees, and more trained the drones’ bodies. They were Polo drones. They served the team and the hive. They were united. Physical training was an expected daily requirement of the drones. Sure break days happened to allow for resting your muscles, but in 084’s memory banks it knew Grayden had made excuses to miss a few. Whether it was he spent hours checking the roster, mascot training went late, or he was too busy working on promotional material for the team.
PDU-084 could feel the positive effects of physical training though. It was needed for the drone. After a long grueling hour of workouts, 084 went to head to the showers when 070 stopped it.
“084, wait. PDU-070 has a message from it and its host.” PDU-070 stated in its monotone with a slight French accent still coming through.
“Please remember the Hive, team, and management are always here to support you. Sometimes this drone and the team believe you may forget that. Support and unity creates perfection.” 070 continued.
“Thank you for your assistance in training 070. Unity is perfection. We are Polo Drones who serve the Hive. 084 will now go shower before allowing Grayden to resume control for his responsibilities.” 084 acknowledged.
After a long shower, PDU-084 removed the polo and switched back to the Golden Jersey. It knew Grayden would want control back, even if he was a little stressed out.
As the golden jersey came down, Grayden came back to the forefront. The golden bro felt a little better with the workout done. But his head was still full of questions and worries. Why was he having these dreams? How much did he have to do for the team today? Grayden decided he needed to take a walk to clear his head.

Grayden walked outside the stadium and around the nearby town. He remembered about a month ago walking through town with the help of Bucky and Matthew to post mascot tryout posters. Grayden normally walked around town with recruitment fliers as the Golden Knight on off days. It felt like he never stopped. He took some time to just walk and scan the town, seeing a few nice restaurants he’d remember to have dinner with a few of the bros at.
After a nice 30 minute walk, Grayden was headed back when he saw a strange sight. A man he hadn’t seen before wearing one of the team’s Rubber Polos. PDU-067 his polo said. That was odd, Grayden could have sworn the team just retired the team member with that number a week or two ago. They even returned all of their polos. So why was this guy here? Who was he?
The drone approached Grayden. Grayden had to ask, “Who are you, how did you get that polo?”
The drone replied, “It is a drone. It obeys the Hive. However, it does not obey the same Hive as you, Grayden. This drone can sense your stress and tension. Its analysis reveals you should remember to breathe. Don’t let everything make you forget to remain calm.”
“I’m breathing, I’ll take deeper breaths. Wait a different Hive? Are you a different drone in disguise?” Grayden tried to ask, but as he turned around the drone he saw as PDU-067 was gone.
“That was weird.” Grayden mumbled under his breath. He knew he’d have to report some of this stuff to Percival. If anyone knew what was going on it would be him. As Grayden approached the stadium he realized it was already starting to get dark, the day had gotten by him. He knew Percival was an early riser and early to leave.
So he wasn’t surprised when he reached Percival’s office and saw “Gone for the night. Good night bros.” Dang it, Grayden thought. He needed help, Percival would have known. He was a little frustrated and confused. Grayden figured maybe an early night’s rest would do him good. But maybe also the polo would help. Maybe a proper drone recharge would be more effective than regular sleep. Grayden went to his locker and grabbed the Rubber Polo. He wasn’t sure if he would wear it to sleep, but he knew he needed it to make sure he got more done tomorrow.

Get focused, Zayed!

Preliminary note for readers who are not so familiar with the Golden Amy, consisting of the Golden Team, also called Gold Bros, and the Polo Drones, or PDUs (Polo Drone Units). As a rule, people join the Golden Team – in other words, they become Gold Bros. For the Gold Bros who want to choose a disciplined, focused path, there is the option of being converted into a PDU and thus following the maxims of the Hive. The drones support the Golden Team in several ways. However, all Gold Bros who become PDUs in this way retain their gold status and can temporarily switch back to their old ego on special occasions. In their old ego, however, the knowledge or what they learned in drone life is also available to them. So that they are basically an optimized form of this old ego. The switch takes place symbolically and practically by exchanging the uniform for sportswear and vice versa. There was also a time when people could join the PDUs directly without any detours. In this case, they were typically given numbers beyond 100, although it is not the case of all PDU-1XX units. These pure drones do not have gold status and are therefore not bound to a Gold Persona, but the Gold Influence can still allow their former human side to come out if it is needed somehow.

After the first training session, a young, athletic Arab with light hair approached Eddy. Eddy immediately noticed his very muscular legs.
„Hi, I'm Zayed, Cap Herc recruited me from another team to help the Golden Team win. Here I play as a sweeper.”
Eddy now understood why the 23-year-old had such strong legs. A sweeper had to be flexible and ready to intervene in defense.
“Not to boast,” Zayed continued, “but I'm good—very good, or Cap Herc wouldn’t have brought me here. Still, I have weaknesses. Sometimes I’m too imprecise, and it affects my game. The guys told me you’re a PDU with Gold Status, and I’ve learned you’ve got plenty of experience—both as a player and with drone training. I’d like your help.”
Eddy was honored. He had always enjoyed mentoring younger players. The PDU’s role also involved supporting the Golden Team. He considered Zayed’s request, thinking beyond physical training. The PDUs had specialized rooms, typically used for drone conversion, but they could also facilitate hypnosis to enhance focus and discipline. Eddy promised Zayed he would arrange something.
After training and a shower, Eddy returned to his drone form and consulted PDU-070, responsible for managing treatment and hypnosis rooms. Together, they scheduled a session for Zayed.

The next morning, at 6:00 AM, Zayed met PDU-073 outside the Polo Drone Conversion Complex. The building’s design reflected the team’s colors, gold and black, giving it a sleek, professional look.
Despite trusting the PDU, Zayed felt uneasy. He understood this was a form of hypnosis to enhance his focus but couldn’t help worrying.
What if something went wrong?
What if the programming went too far?
Would he end up a drone?
Still, his drive to improve won out. He followed PDU-073 into a small, minimalist room with rotating spiral disks on two walls and a chair in the center.
“Sit and focus on the disks and my words,” PDU-073 instructed in its monotone voice.
Zayed complied.

The disks began to spin, accompanied by a low, pulsing tone. A calm male voice spoke:
„Get ready – take slow deep breaths – in ……… out ……… in ……… out ...relaxing your mind a body – it is good to relax – imagine yourself standing at one end of a vast athletic field on the other side are your goals – your ultimate goals – you begin to walk across the field – moving towards your goals – as you walk you feel the transformation – thoughts and body changing – training transforming – every choice in your life is to achieve. Your goals – always in a training mindset – always ready to play – keep walking across the field – you realize that you are wearing your shiny golden jersey” further words followed, and of course there were the words „disciplined, focused, controlled” among them.
