SHINE ON ST PETE

Florida graffiti artist Tasko started writing around 2004 and credits his friend JISK for pushing him to keep elevating his work. Tasko adapts his freestyle work to fit all kinds of surfaces and St Pete Arts Alliance says "he enjoys finding ways to make the letters dance together and become part of the wall." Invited in 2022 to once again participate in the SHINE mural festival Tasko painted his largest wall yet  at 20th St and 5th Ave S, in St Pete's Warehouse Arts District.

on more than one occasion i have seen people accidentally write "taangus" instead of "taagnus" and nearly had a heart attack before reading the rest of the post/tags and realizing that it was just a typo, and they were shipping taako with magnus, not angus

Rutinoj kaj kreivo

Dum la jaroj pasas, mi pli kaj pli ŝatas la ideon de rutinoj, sisteme organizitaj procezoj, kaj klaraj reguloj. Tiuj ĉi ne estas simple limigoj; ili fariĝis la bazo, sur kiu mi starigas mian ĉiutagan vivon, helpante min plenumi miajn taskojn kaj atingi miajn celojn pli facile.

Mi venis al la kompreno ke havante fiksan kadron por labori ne malhelpas nian kreivecon aŭ niajn ŝancojn. Ĝi vere donas al ni klarecon kaj direkton, tre necesajn por ĉia krea laboro. Alfrontante malpli da necerteco pri la sekva paŝo aŭ kiel alproksimiĝi al tasko, mi sentas min pli libera, fokusiĝante pli bone al efika uzo de miaj rimedoj kaj esplorado de novaj ideoj ene de la stabila strukturo.

Tiu ĉi kompreno kreskis iom post iom, el sperto kaj pripensado. Nun, mi vidas rutinojn kaj organizitajn sistemojn ne kiel barojn al progreso, sed kiel esencajn ilojn por ĝi. Etsuko Ichihara

Artist, Fantasy inventor, Digital Shamanist

Etsuko Ichihara is Japanese artist. Born 1988 in Aichi. Graduated in Studies of Media, Body and Image from the School of Culture, Media and Society, Waseda University. She has been creating artworks that interpret Japanese culture, customs and beliefs from a unique point of view, and present new, technology-based approaches. Thanks to their strong impact, these works have been introduced across a wide range of media all over the world, such as newspapers and TV programs, radio programs, and magazines. Ichihara’s works were included in the Excellence Award at the 20th Japan Media Arts Festival, Entertainment Division in 2017, and in 2016, chosen for the INNOvation program from The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications. She won Honorary Mention (Interactive Art＋) in PRIX Ars Electronica 2018 and received a STARTS Prize Nomination in the same year recently. She has recently presented her works in exhibitions such as ‘Digital Shamanism: Japanese Funeral and Festivity’ at NTT InterCommunication Center [ICC], ‘Cyber Arts Exhibition 2018’ at Ars Electronica Festival in Linz, Japan Media Arts Festival, ‘Mediating Asia’ at National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts, ‘Roppongi Crossing 2022’ at the Mori Art Museum.
