TCA Sets Dates For Winter Tour 2024 - Disney Attending The Event With Disney Branded Television Panel TBD.

TCA has set its Winter 2024 return for February 5 at the Langham Hotel in Pasadena with the tour ending on the 15. The live event returns following the Summer Tour cancellation due to the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes.

Disney is set to attend on February 9-10 with FX Networks and ABC, surprisingly Hulu and Disney Branded Television are nowhere to be found however according to TCA participating shows, units and panelists will be released at a later time. So expect on the upcoming month to get more updates on the panelist and units attending the press tour.

As you may know previous TCA Press Tours have unveiled many announcements, this year's edition unveiled the Phineas And Ferb revival, renewals for Pupstruction, SuperKitties and Firebuds, 2022 unveiled greenlight orders for SuperFudge and Tiny Trailblazers and 2021 edition unveiled greenlight orders for Pupstruction, Mickey's Tales of Two Witches, Mickey and Minnie's Wish Upon A Christmas.

Based on this here's our SPECULATION on what MIGHT be announced:

-Cookies & Milk key art and Guest Cast List

-Key Arts for "RoboGobo", "Hey A.J!" and "Kindergarten: The Musical"

-Key Art, Synopsis,Director and Writters for Disney TVAs films "SuperFudge" & "The School For Sensitive Souls"

-Greenlight orders for Jose Zelaya, Dave Pressler and Harland Williams - Disney Junior shows

-Greenlight orders for Latoya Raveneau, Nic Smal, Lucy Heavens, Noah Z Jones, Ryan W. Quincy, Thurop Van Orman, C.H. Greenblatt - Disney Channel shows

-Information on recently revealed series "Sam Witch", "Fantasy Sports", "Neon Galaxy", Johnny Guitar Rock Star" and "La Familia Avenúñez" who got revealed via trademark sites

-Big City Greens: The Movie synopsis, key art and date.

PBS Kids has announced a myriad of civics content scheduled to premiere in the next couple of months. Among these include:

a second season of City Island (July 5th) and a new musical spin off of the show (premiering May 29th)

Together we Can, a live action series of music videos about what it means to be a community (July 5th)

New episodes of Rosie’s Rules

A civics focused playlist with episodes from the following shows: Arthur, Rosie, Xavier Riddle, Molly of Denali, Daniel Tiger, Peg Plus Cat, and Alma’s Way (October)

The TCA Press Tour has been going on for several days now, and from that comes PBS's panel set for the day right after the Super Bowl. Which...y'know, is today.

On the kids side of things, we have a slew of stuff announced all pertaining to civics. This includes more City Island episodes, new Rosie's Rules episodes, and a playlist, among other things. Sadly nothing from Odd Squad like I personally wanted...but hey, it's a load more stuff than we'll get at PBS's upfront in 3 months. Appreciate it.

Disney Branded Television Kids In Animation Panel Unveils Creative Members Of Hit TV Series Across Disney Channel and Disney Junior.

Lynne Southerland ("Ariel") Chris Houghton, Shane Houghton ("Big City Greens"), Nic Smal, Lucy Heavens ("Kiff", "NDA - Disney Channel series"), Sarah Mullervy ("SuperKitties") and Harrison Wilcox ("Spidey And His Amazing Friends") attended the Disney Branded Television - TCA Winter Press Tour where they showcased how their lives inspired the storylines of their shows and how the multiple LGTBQ+, POC and inclusive crew members have brought inclusive storytelling to their shows.

The panel unveiled that Big City Greens, Kiff and Hamster & Gretel became the most streamed and most watched animated series on Disney Channel and Disney+ worldwide and Firebuds, Pupstruction, SuperKitties, Spidey and His Amazing Friends and Star Wars Young Jedi Adventures becoming the most watched programs on Disney Junior across preschool streaming and linear TV.
