do u think abo is something you’d want to write one day?

yeah i have written it before!! for my exo fic. i have two wips for it, modern au fwb where wwx thinks he’s a beta bc he’s presenting late but he’s actually an omega, and first he has a complex about lwj inevitably leaving him to be w an omega and then when he does present its also coincidentally when they get together (heat sex etc) and he has a complex about lwj only wanting to be serious now that wwx is visibly an omega. neither is true obv. my other au is canon au where wx are soulmates/mated pair who know from idk when they’re teens? like when they meet again at the indoctrination camp. but it’s not fluff and is more about the impossibilities of a soulmatch and how wwx would feel restricted and the difficulty for both of them to be vulnerable and open with your dearest most beloved person. i love soulmates aus in Theory but i’m not into that type of super fluff? i think it’s so much more interesting to still have to work for it, and just thinking about how firmly wwx is attached to yunmeng jiang before he saves the wen remnants when he’s first really becoming ylz, especially during the war, and the hardships of being socially viewed as belonging to someone else when he views himself as belonging solely to jiangs and reconciling his desire for intimacy during this time with his ongoing belief that lwj wants to cage him, and how much stronger that expectation of being caged would be since they are mates and many ppl view him as lwj’s mate/omega before they view him as like...himself. and lwj is also still trying to reconcile the way he feels about wwx and the “darker” things he wants and feels and how much easier it would be, in theory, to cage wwx, and actively having to fight against that even when it’s something as simple as wanting to force wwx to eat and sleep. so..... naturally i am not working on either of these </3 but it’s possible. i do think the soulmate au one is cool i love writing tense couples so much. yk i don’t really think i RLY write angst but sometimes i do be reading the shit i say and i’m like ok...i can see why ppl think that
