Lan Zhan, probably:
Dear Diary,
*glances at fresh, wei-ying-thrown peony placed perfectly safe on table*
We have a problem.

OMG OMG OMG. GUYS!! Is there a MDZS fanfic like this?:
Wei Wuxian dies. Lan Zhan does not accept this and decided to go to the burial mounds and search for his investigation. Maybe he meets "fans" of Wei Wuxian and finds the way to reanimate corpses like him using his demonic cultivation.
Maybe, after waking up, Wei Ying finally understands why he was told not to use that kind of cultivation as he sees Lan Zhan start to lose his mind.

That day was very memorable. First off, the sky was very clear and sun rays, even though faint, can be felt as it seemed to seep deep into their skin. It was not the kind of heat that burns, but rather, the kind where it seemed to spread warmth and comfort once it touches the body.
Secondly, Wei Wuxian just returned from his wanderings that day. He was met, surprised as he was, by Lan Wangji at the very spot where they parted ways months ago. Lan Wangji did smile a little when Wei Wuxian met his gaze that day. He was dumbfounded upon seeing the most beautiful man slowly walking towards him. Lan Wangji never took his eyes away from Wei Wuxian and the latter did the same.
Once the god-like man, dressed in immaculately-white robe, was in front of the lad dressed in black, a voice echoed on the mountains...
"Wei Ying. Let's go home."
