I just think from the way ive been playing it that like. The monster didnt Ask to be found or science experimented on, from what we see of the flashbacks all we see is that it took the opportunuty to disguise itself as a human and try to flee, but the Relith Science drones picked up the monster dna and eviscerated it on the spot. It put together that, as it was now, it wasn't welcome and it was feared.

So when it has the chance to escape again, it's primary goal is to flee while looking like a human. There are so many windows/breaks in the walls(especially in the Frontier Wastelands and Bunker) that if this wasnt a 2d platformer/puzzle game it totally would have just wiggled out and gone on its spree.

But no, it goes theough the labors of making it through the facility to get it's Parasitism back and become a human again. Because it doesnt juet want to leave the fscility, it wants to join society. I think the monster just wants love and realizes it wont get love while looking the way it does. So it does what it can to get that no matter the cost

I think if you ramble to him about anything and everything in an intoxicated state he just takes the moment to let his guard down and smile at how cute you are and giggles at every brainstorm idea you have in that moment. Yes. I mean giggles. It’s a rare and beautiful sight. He’d be nodding and agreeing that he should definitely try on a Tabis fit (idk what that is) and be soooo enthusiastic about going whale watching with you.

I think his favorite thing ever would just be to help you get ready for bed after a fun night out with drinks. I see him as a baby to toddler regressor. If i had to put an age to it, 0-5

Very, VERY repressed. Doesn't even feel comfortable regressing by himself, but sometimes lets it slip when he gets stressed out

Gets pretty pouty and easily frustrated when he's regressed. Granted, he is normally, but is a bit more prone to tears if he's little, especially in baby mode

Naturally speaks a little higher and has a stutter when he's regressed. Sometimes slips into baby talk if he's not careful. Becomes nonverbal entirely if he's especially little

Has a dog stuffie that Marlowe gave him for their anniversary. Doesn't talk about it, but can't sleep without it

Shawn catches on pretty easily when it happens, but has the presence of mind not to say anything. There have been a few times where they're alone and Shawn calls him "little man" or some other cute nickname offhandedly to make Lassie feel more comfortable

Gus knows by association, but doesn't bother with him (unless the situation calls for him to). He's got his hands full with Shawn already lol

Jules knows too, but not because he told her. She's noticed in certain situations, and has been the one to take care of him the most even when he's not aware he's regressed. (admittedly i like jules as his caretaker best :3)

After a long time building trust, Lassie opens up to Marlowe (and himself) as a little and lets her take care of him. They usually just cuddle together and watch Disney movies, wrapped up in blankets while Lassie hugs his dog stuffie <3

This got WAY longer than I imagined and I'm no writer (AND english is not my first language), SO I APOLOGIZE IN ADVANCE.

I hc that post-rumbling Annie grows her hair quite long. At first, it was a matter of negligence. She didn't seem to notice much of a change in the length. After all, in the remaining mess-of-a-world there are more important things to care about rather than looks (with only exception during the diplomatic missions, of course). But as the time passes, putting her hair up in her usual bun becomes a more complicated task. It shouldn't take this long, and why does it feel like her arms are getting slightly sore? Around summetime, when the sudden heat wave comes, despite trying a simple half up instead - her neck starts glistening with sweat rather quickly. Another couple of full moons later, she notices her hair getting tangled more easily, especially after letting it down in the windy meadows or after long warmth-filled nights in bed.

Annie huffs softly, slightly annoyed, as she sits in front of her modest vanity, trying to detangle the locks. She hears the cracks of the wooden floor behind her, combined with soft steps of bare feet, as Armin comes up to her. He takes a hold of her wrist with one hand, while the other slips the comb off her slender fingers, before slowly guiding her wrist down. He softly brushes away her blond strands of hair with his delicate fingers and kisses the crown of her head. As he proceeds to comb her hair, Annie closes her eyes. Maybe, after all, she doesn't mind keeping her hair longer.

Tbh I'm half convinced Annie puts herself through these "minor" inconveniences only because in some way or the other, it gets her more time with Armin xD Not like she's particularly deprived either but a girl can never have too much Armin! More Armin = more nutrition!

The thing about long-hair Annie tho is that... we all know she isn't going to do fuck about anything until it starts to actively get in her way. Hair? Oh, whatever, it's hair-ing as usual I guess. It keeps going into that 5-second bun until her hairtie is nope-ing the hell out of working overtime. At breakfast Jean beats Armin to comment how it seems her hair's grown long and all she has to say about that is a "Mhmm. Huh. Ah. Hmm." She's got no fucks to give about her hair. Haircut? Who cares. Let the hair just hair.

UNTIL. She's chasing assassins down in her nice pastel suit and awful heels and the replacement hairtie also nopes the fuck out of there and all her long hair ends up smacking her in the face.

That's when the fuck has to be given! Out comes the murderous look and the very sharp scissors.

You know Armin doesn't really "stop" stop her, though he's a bit disappointed. He's watching from the bed as she prepares to chop the ends and swishes his lips in some dismay. Because listen. Listen. He likes 5-second-bun Annie as much as he likes loose-hair Annie. There's beauty in watching her knot it up every morning when she gets up from bed, and there's beauty in seeing it all fall apart. He wouldn't really mind, if she decided to chop it off into a pixie cut, but... he does like her hair the way it is. The soft waves from sleep. The curtain it forms around his face. The soothing scent of it after her bath and the sweaty dampness on high heat summer days. Armin does love her hair, and well... if it were to go-

"I'll miss it," He laughs from his lazy sprawl on the bed, a split second before the scissor blades snip off any lengths.

So Annie hesitates. She hesitates even as he resigns himself into easy acceptance and picks up the latest, most boring book on the dresser. She hesitates, staring at her reflection, at all the extra inches of blond cascading down her chest and well... maybe... just...

"Can you come here?" She calls. "Just... help me comb this."

So he does. He puts down the book and steps behind her with the brush. Soon enough Annie has her eyes closed to the steady rhythm of bristles on her scalp and the gentle flutter of his fingers along her hair.

"Shall I cut it for you?" He whispers.

Oh but... Annie sighs, eyes closed in bliss. It would be such a shame.

"These scissors are too blunt. Maybe tomorrow."

Armin doesn't say anything, only continues to brush her hair from the roots to the tips, caressing the skin of her ear and neck every now and then. It's like some sort of blanket wrapping around her, telling her to relax, like this too will be taken care of, like all the rest. He brushes her hair every night after that. At the final stroke of the brush, he also asks if he should help her ease the burden.

But the scissors keeps being blunt.
