6-1/2 weeks till my next vacation is TOO LONG.
We've all been heaped with so much to do every day that I'm afraid to call in sick anymore.
I've felt that way before (afraid to call in sick) and then either eventually got over it, or else got sick enough that I really didn't have a choice about not taking a sick day. So I suppose I might get over it again. But I feel very conflicted about leaving my work for other people to do in my absence.

As obnoxious as my job can be my bossess are amazing. I put in for the next three Fridays off last minute (yesterday) and flat out told my boss that I was burned out and just needed more timeoff this holiday season and he was like thank you for being honest and this is so much better than calling out we can give you all three Fridays off (even this week!!) I love paid vacation time. This means I'll have four four day weeks, two three day weekends and two four day weekends since I also have Christmas day and new years day off. I'm so fucking happy.
