Plus! A lot of times, self insert characters lead to AUs anyways! And that pipeline leads to personal creation!

Like my stuff is still VERY VERY tied to the concept of cannon, but is very much so far down the AU rabbit hole, that I could probably separate it from the source material and have it still stand firmly on its own!

Inserts are good! It makes us use our creative brains to figure out how that would work within the concept of the story provided!!

(Also I create the story I do so people CAN insert themselves in there! Mostly blank canvas character that is portrayed in 3rd person! And even though he is 'blank' he is still fleshed out and feels like he belongs in the story!!)

my only problem with writing fluff is that the fandoms of tumblr only interact with mostLY smut. it kind of sucks bc they tend to ignore the build up to smut so i'm not surprised if late blossom doesnt sky rocket like snakes tongue or 'TRATF'.

but i am proud of myself for writing fluff (4k words whew IN A DAY AND A HALF??) due to fluff not being my masterclass. i am excited to writing the third and final chapter of late blossom bc its in my field of tension and spice ;) writing this fic truly helped me enjoy the details of fluff and building up to the third chapter. i also loved the thought of farleigh being a father.
