Shiro! I have a bit of a silly question that I hope you might indulge (*/ω＼*) does Unity, Shiro, and Kuro have different favourite dishes? Or is it versions of the same one? Please, enlighten me about their fav foods \o/

(Unity) Favourite Food: I don’t need to sustain myself like you do. Instead, I draw energy from the air through ley lines. But… I admit, at times, I indulge myself with samples. Specifically, the ones you call ‘desserts’ ... or anything spicy. The burning sensation on my tongue is always exciting!

Kuro has a sweet tooth and Shiro likes anything spicy! While neither can go hungry, they occasionally go out of their way to get a bite of their favourite snacks.

(Unity) Least Favourite Food: I am accustomed to absorbing energy, so my body can’t handle big dishes. The taste of bitterness is also something I'd avoid. It reminds me of medicine... yuck.

Kuro has a long-standing rivalry with medicine. She'd have to be severely injured before she'd consider taking it without struggle.

Both dislike the feeling of fullness, so whenever they eat, they'll stop after a few bites.

(Unity) Special dish: Sweet & Spicy chicken bites topped with black and white sesame seeds

The perfect balance between sweet and spicy! It's a small portion of chicken bites, enough to enjoy the taste, but not filling at all. The black and white sesame seeds are a special addition and a signature of their spin on these chicken bites.

It is served in a triangular-shaped plate, white on the inside and black on the outside. There is a line along the rims in the opposite colours. Two rectangular napkins come with the plate, one red and the other blue.

Yeah, here are some for Baji!

Baji never really understood the whole wedding thing and what a big deal it was before he met you, then he suddenly realised how much he wanted it.

He's a very responsible dad, more responsible then his friends assumed he'd be but Baji takes raising a child pretty seriously, same as with his vet work.

Speaking of vet work, he did get a few things mixed up in pregnancy stage and asked questions about things that a human baby wouldn't do (after how many weeks will the baby open their eyes etc).

Tends to try to let you sleep if the baby or kids start crying in the night, he's always determined to try and deal with it himself (though he does need your help sometimes). 

Isn't afraid to tell his friends to shut up when the baby is sleeping (even if he accidentally wakes the baby up after doing this the first few times).

Struggles a lot to get out of bed in the morning when you're next to him, just wants to stay next to you. (You're definitely being forced to lie in with him on weekends).

He's pretty determined that his kid is gonna be strong too, like him. Will put his kid in martial arts classes (though if they show no interest in it he won't push them)

Is very protective as a partner, will constantly check your wellbeing and safety.

Is a very good mix of being strict and chill, actually a lot like how Ryoko was with him (his mother is his role model and he tries to parent in a similar way to her)

Puts in a lot of effort into all of your birthdays, doing his best to make the day perfect for you and the kids.

If Mikey has a kid around the same time then the two of them have a fun rivalry going, like who's kid will talk first etc.

Is a bit of a baby when it comes to taking medicines, doesn't like the way they taste and refuses to take them, you have to bribe him with other stuff he wants. 

Panics a bit when the baby first starts crying

Introduces his kid to all the neighbourhood cats and teaches his kid to feed them too.

Introduces you to all the neighbourhood cats too, he'll also occasionally bring one home and give you a pleading look as he asks if the cat can stay. 

Thinks men who won't change nappies or help out with the kids are weak 

Straight up congratulates his kid after they get sent home from school after a fight.

Tries to teach you a few self defense moves, just in case he can't be around. 

He's a very caring father who can be a bit strict at times but always does the best for his family

Your being married to Baji privileges includes being the only one allowed to touch his hair (at least while it's just the two of you).

Makes sure the two of you get plenty of dates (will spoil you a bit but he's denying it if anyone else asks)

Was so nervous about his wedding, Chifuyu and Kazutora had to reassure him a lot that it'll all go fine. 

Hates whenever he has to study long hours to become a vet because it means he gets less time with you and the kids. Promises to make up for it later though.

Being married to Baji also means having Chifuyu and Kazutora around a lot. Chifuyu especially does whatever he can for you, he respects you greatly for being the one Baji chose. They're also uncles to your kids and will argue about who the kids like more (it's Mikey because he brings them sweets)

Is very sentimental, keeps everything you and the kids give him.

As a partner he's very good at reading your moods and adapting to them. Your sad? Then he'll cheer you up. Stressed? He'll help you relax. Angry? Then he'll take you out somewhere to let that frustration out.

Is super glad when you get on well with his mother

He's a total family man, valuing you guys and his friends above all else.

🌷 writing/poem: Something Magical

If by magical you meant full of angst piece about an immortal witch and her dead not-mentioned-by-gender human love then this is it. (the rest is under the read more) .

Summary:

She had a rose and a long lost love. She had the infinity in front of her but no one to live it with. It wasn’t worth it. It would never be.

The dark haired walked alone in the huge mansion. Every furniture, every inch of those old ruined walls, seemed to know her secret. She liked to pretend they didn’t, she liked to pretend she hasn’t been living alone there for more time than most the people she had known have lived. But it was one of those nights again.

Being a witch had been easy: spells, killing men, eternity, making potions for enemies… but no one told her there would be things to lose, too. She curses under her breath, staring at herself thought the mirror, brushing the perfectly straight long hair, trying not to think about those soft hands on her own, those fierce lips crushing hers, all those memories of someone she could not have anymore.

All of that because humans were stupid and weak. Because they live an incredibly short life. Because they can’t be turned into magical beings besides werewolves. Because they want to kill witches. Because they are a forbidden love. Because one of them must be an exception and instead of falling in love under a spell and be submissive, fall in love naturally with a witch. And the worst part, be corresponded.

It was natural, for humans to get killed whenever a witch fell in love with them, but for someone who had laughed at that so many times, her reflex was an undying irony. For some reason, she didn’t fight the tears that night.

The woman then got up and looked thought the widow, ignoring the fact she was supposed to be like a ghost. A ghost some people believed and some didn’t. A shadow people may see when looking too much into the old haunted house at the end of the street. A myth. When she looked outside, the street was, as expected, dark and alone.

The witch felt herself be thrown right back into the night her lover died, murdered by the hands of her own people because she couldn’t make the right choice. If asked, she would deny with anger that it wasn’t worth it, but the truth is it wasn’t. She could’ve had him forever, or as forever as a human life goes, if she had chosen to give away her powers. She could’ve turned human and lived a peaceful but small human life with the love of her life. But she didn’t. She let her love get killed because she thought this was too much to give away, and turned out it was nothing in comparison.

She remembers pretending to feel nothing, being asked about it, denying all the time. She remembers being exposed, she doesn’t remembers by who, but still remembers the anxiety, the hurt, the pain she felt. The disappoint on everyone else’s face. She remembers when the question was made, when she pretended to be as strong as everyone thought she was before - before knowing she was weak enough to love a human. When she said, without hesitation, with a plain face: “kill”.

When she watched from her bedroom the murder. Hiding being curtains, telling everyone the scene “wasn’t worth her time” and they have made a mistake thinking she loved anyone. She cried herself to sleep that night.

She didn’t last much after it with the others, stepping more and more away as time went. She flies all the way thought a strange small city, to a weird mansion and stayed. She appears on other cities from time to time to buy stuff, to meet people, but never to stay. She stays on the old, broken, haunted house. It suits her.

Closing the curtains, the lady let’s herself be drifted away by memories and scars and guilt, stepping into bed, alone, as usual.
