Episode 8

JD is back! While we are on the topic of school this week... I am changing my major from biological sciences to public health. Why you may ask? Well let me tell you, I realized that it would better suit my interests and my career. I want to become a physician's assistant. I've met a variety of people at UofSC on the same career path as me who are public health majors. They encouraged me that the classes are easier because they are more interesting. I want to help people and the classes they offer are more hands-on. We are taught about real-world problems and how to help someone in different situations. I am excited about next semester and the new classes I can take. The more I understand something the better I do in school. There is also a study abroad medical leadership program and I am thinking of applying because I think that would be an awesome experience. As well as a great opportunity for my future and career. The inspirational quote for today is “Be the change you wish to see in the world”. Take that step, change your major, do what makes YOU happy! Change is for the better!

How do you get through your busy day? What helps you feel motivated and gives you the strength to get chores done and be active in your childrens life? Mine is THIS ⬇️ without Thrive I would be so lost, I would be stuck in my dark gloom that I have been in for awhile now. I felt like there were no options for me. I have been to the doctor constantly trying to figure out why I'm so exhausted all the time, why I'm so down all the time and always in a bad mood...they couldn't tell me why they always told me I had depression...which when you have no energy and feel like your failing as a mom because you don't want to do anything with your kids can definitely put you into a depressive mood but instead of being on medicine my whole life I wanted something else I have been searching for something else and that's when I found Thrive 🌱 and ever since my life has been forever changed 🙌 !
