and even though he doesnt ever have reason to doubt tan's love for him, kyo feels as nervous as he did when he first confessed his feelings

he feels like he has swallowed a thousand butterflies, each one making sure to brush against his heart that has also fallen into his belly

hanafuda earrings sway and bedsheets rustle as tan moves so he can look kyo in the eye

the hitch in kyo's breath is visible, his chest swelling up as tan reaches for his left hand, interlacing their fingers before bringing it to his lips, brushing them against the wedding band

kyo is certain his heart skips two beats when he meets tan's lidded gaze
