I really want to see more of your swap au competition for fantasy retreat, it looks really interesting.

(More specifically, I really want to see Pom Pom and Bocce Ball, I think they'd be cool.)

Pom Pom (the squishy little arts and crafts one, not the cheerleading one) is definitely more of a follower than a leader, despite what others (Bocce Ball) may want from her. She needs some prompting to offer up original ideas, but will quote fun facts and trivia at you like no tomorrow, much to the chagrin of her fellow contestants. She tends to stick close by to Bocce Ball both because he’s her best friend and because she honestly doesn’t know what to do with herself without him.

Bocce Ball is definitely the more leader-y of the two, but he knows that Pom Pom is capable of a lot more than she thinks and so tries to encourage her to take the lead. Whether this is out of genuinely wanting to see Pom Pom improve or some sort of manifestation of him being jealous of her intelligence (or both) is for you to decide. He can seem off-putting at times, but that’s just cause he’s a pretty direct guy, no beating around the bush. Also, he makes a mean shepherd’s pie.

The multiverse. The woven fabric of time, a beautiful creation that Khonshu helped weave long ago. While he's still a time god in an absolute sense, his role now is largely maintenance: sometimes he had to step in and patch holes. Usually Khonshu got involved with more apocalyptic events, but there was an exception for things he didn't need an Avatar to affect. Issues within his own pantheon, with his own Avatars.

His. Not his.

Khonshu's existence is like a bag of sand, a grain of himself in every world and offshoot timeline, growing alongside it. They were all Khonshu, all part of a greater whole, but the pieces grew differently, grew apart. They tend not to get along, certainly not enough to reach out and help one another. For an Avatar of another Khonshu to make an appearance here is either an attack, an emergency, or a mistake.

All demanded investigation.

The full moon's light seems to hover around the invader, staring, judging, suspicious. A thinner connection, but still there-- a Fist of Khonshu in any world.

"You are a long way from home, little worm," Khonshu speaks, his silhouette visible somewhere in the distance, but his voice still sounded right next to the Knight.

I hate my brain becoming filled with other au ideas but for some reason the idea of a getter swap au came to me but in a more interesting way: instead of entire role and personality swaps, the characters are the same as they are but being swapped into which part of the getter they pilot causes them to take on the roles in the narrative that the parts of the getter usually end up leading to.

Whoever pilots getter 1 is doomed to become emperor, whoever pilots getter 2 is the one who’s left behind and whoever pilots getter 3 is the one to be sacrificed.

I’m mainly thinking about this regarding OG team-though of the 3 arc is the only one I wouldn’t swap pilots cause their roles seem SET and stone, given the legacy stuff but go team could be played around with-even if there’s the can of worms of “Musashi and Benkei” since the other was made just so one could exist so MAYBE I would keep the aspect of Musashi still dies and Benkei has to take over regardless of who’s he’s swapped with but I plan to rotate each boy in a different position.
