Tata Punch iCNG Revealed at Auto Expo 2023
Tumblr media
Tata Punch new model in 2023 gets a new dual-cylinder CNG set-up to preserve boot space.Tata Motors has launched the Punch in CNG form. The use of two smaller CNG cylinders by Tata rather than a single larger one is unusual and has allowed for a significant increase in boot capacity.
Due to increased fuel costs, consumers are choosing CNG versions of well-known vehicles. While CNG has traditionally only been available in a limited number of vehicles and versions, manufacturers are now introducing CNG as a diesel substitute. Browse the various Tata Punch versions through this blog and the PPS Tata Showroom Ludhiana to learn more about the various features of each variant and the Tata Punch Pricing.
Which models are in Auto Expo 2023?
The CNG versions of the Punch and Altroz were unveiled by Tata Motors at theTata Auto Expo 2023. Both models would be introduced in India later this year, the auto manufacturer added. This increases the brand's CNG offering by making Punch and Altroz the third and fourth items to come factory equipped with a CNG kit.
·  A 1.2-litre, three-cylinder engine is coming to Punch and Altroz CNG.
· Each model features a brand-new twin-cylinder CNG system.
· Keep the same design elements.
Tata Punch CNG: what is it?
A 1.2-liter, three-cylinder engine with a 5-speed manual gearbox is what powers Punch's CNG variant. In gasoline form, this engine generates 86 horsepower and 113 Nm of torque, while in CNG form, it generates 77 horsepower and 97 Nm of peak torque. The Punch may also be started immediately in CNG mode, a feature not provided by any of its competitors, such the Tiago and Tigor CNG.
The way Tata has addressed the short boot space problem that affects the Tiago and Tigor CNG is unique, though. The Punch now has a new dual-cylinder setup that divides the previously enormous 60-liter tank, which would occupy almost all of the boot area.
To create more storage, the new twin cylinders, each with a capacity of 30 litres, were installed beneath the boot floor. The inclusion of the "i-CNG" emblem on the tailboard, like the Tiago and Tigor CNG, is the only exterior design modification to the Punch CNG. The interior of the Punch CNG hasn't undergone any significant changes either.
The Punch CNG is well-equipped in terms of equipment, as it comes with a 16-inch alloy wheel, voice-activated sunroof, 7.0-inch touchscreen and digital driver's display, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility, automatic climate control, and a height-adjustable driver seat.
Tata Altroz CNG: exterior, interior, and features
The 1.2-liter, three-cylinder engine that generates 77hp in CNG mode will be used in the Altroz, just like it is in the Punch CNG. Tomaintain boot room, it also receives the new dual-cylinder CNG setup. The interior design and exterior characteristics of the premium hatchback are identical, with the exception of the 'iCNG' emblem.
The Punch CNG's features are all included in the Altroz CNG, along with some extras including leatherette seats, back AC vents, and a front centre armrest. After the Baleno and Glanza CNG, the Altroz will debut as the third premium CNG-powered hatchback in its class.
A five-seat SUV called the Tata Punch is offered in four trim levels: Pure, Adventure, Accomplished, and Creative. The Punch has 30 other subcategories. The names of these groups are Camo Accomplished AMT Dazzle, Camo Accomplished AMT, Camo Accomplished Dazzle, Camo Adventure AMT Rhythm, Camo Accomplished, Camo Adventure AMT, Camo Adventure Rhythm, Camo Adventure, and Creative. Creative IRA DT, AMT IRA DT.
Is Tata participating in Auto Expo 2023?
This year, the firm will have a wide range of products on exhibit at the Tata AutoExpo 2023. They include the Harrier EV, Curvv coupe-SUV, Sierra, and Altroz Racer, as well as the Safari and Harrier Red Dark variants.
Maruti is one of the automakers now offering factory-installed CNG options across a variety of vehicles. Swift, WagonR, Dzire, Alto 800, Alto K10, Ertiga, Celerio, Eeco, and S-Presso are among those mentioned. This is the largest CNG portfolio currently offered in the nation and is branded under the moniker S-CNG tech.
Tata Punch has moreover received a remarkable 5-star Global NCAP crash test safety certification. The Tata Punch, which is offered by PPS Tata Dealers Chennai, is a really amazingvehicle that could charm you with its attractive appearance and smooth ride.
Tata Punch Features
Tata is making great progress in terms of passenger safety. One of the newest cars the business has released is the Tata Punch, which puts safety first. The Tata Punch is built on the architecture of the Agile Light Flexible Advanced (ALFA) platform. Standard safety features include ABS, dual airbags, EBD, child mounts for the ISOFIX system, and CSC. Browse the various Tata Punch versions through this blog and the PPS Tata Showroom in Chennaito learn more about the various features of each variant and the Tata Punch Pricing.
Its dynamic drive modes make it simple to maintain a long-term balance while yet delivering performance. This type has a variety of sensors on the front two wheels that can gauge traction. The wheels in this model are then given brakes, which decrease their traction and send more power to the wheels. In addition, Tata Harrier, which is produced by one of India's top automakers, is developing a strong reputation in the SUV segment.
This car has a wonderful feature called Traction Pro mode that enhances its off-roading ability. Nevertheless, there is only the AMT model available. Using Dyna Pro Technology, the 1.2 L Revotron Engine delivers superb performance. As a result, a dynamic Tata Punch experience is made possible. For additional information, go to Authorized Tata Showrooms Chennai.
Will Tata Punch price increase in 2023?
Unending comfort is provided by its superb fabric chairs with premium knit and CAMO inserts and tri-arrow dashboard. The "Pure" edition of the Tata Punch is available for a basic price of Rs. 6.00* Lakhs. The most expensive model is the Tata Punch Kaziranga Edition AMT IRA, which costs Rs. 9.54* Lakhs.
What are the upcoming projects of Tata in 2023?
For many years, Tata Motors has been a significant participant in the Indian auto industry, and it may soon get even bigger. Recently, the corporation unveiled a variety of forthcoming models that may help it gain more market share in the nation. Here are the 2023 Upcoming Tata Vehicles. Tata Curvv, Tata Avinya, Tata Blackbird, Tata E-vision Concept, Tata Nexon CNG, and Tata Altroz EV are some examples of Tata's electric vehicle concepts.
