Ah, yes, about Kim Ga-On's character - he’s an associate judge who is next to Yo-Han. He’s a righteous character that tracks a very mysterious person, Yo-Han and reveals (shines the bright on/tn) truth.

First, the character is really three-dimensional (0:24), so he has a lot of charm. I could shoot it together with Ji-Sung sunbaenim a character who pushes until the very end with him, so I learned a lot. I first saw the news about Ji-Sung hyungnim… Ji-Sung sunbaenim through articles, and I auditioned with a thought that it’s a good thing to make, and in the meeting, fortunately, the director and the writer saw me as really good, and I got to shoot the drama.

I only followed what Ji-Sung hyung told me, so I don’t know if I did well. But it’s a relief that you watched it pleasantly.

(1:07) I thought I would have to become really sharp. I've played a lot of young characters, college students, people in their early 20s and it was my first time playing a slightly older character, so I paid a lot of attention to having to speak more pointedly. (1:35) And the character's emotions change so much that I think I looked at the script a lot in order to go along with those emotions well.

(1:42) I'd seen a lot of things in lots of different genres except for horror, so I didn't feel any difference in that regard. Yes, so there wasn’t a backup plan. Because I originally didn’t have many shootings of judge’s profession; I learned a lot of phrases with the writer.

(2:06) There wasn't really anyone who was the "mood maker" on set. I don't think anyone had a really great sense of humor... Sorry, sunbaenim. So it wasn't like we were really laughing a lot. But I think we all tried to make sure everyone was having a good time.

(2:13), but everyone was doing it (probably: approached/tn) each other happily since the structure of the drama itself was heavy; if we were being serious, I was worried whenever that would be too much, myself. Although my character has bright sides, in reality I was trying to be brighter. Because the longer the harder it would be to remain serious, so I said to myself: “Just let’s be enjoyably bright.”

At the end of ep. 4, Yohan goes out hugging Elijah/with Elijah in his arms, when I saw (2:51). When they saw such a terrible sight. I really liked that scene. I thought that everything was really contained in that one shot of Ji Sung hyung. I really liked that scene, Jisung-hyung's only heart, I thought he was hugging his everything. My favorite line is, um, “The judge is the strongest when they follow the law.” Everything in the reality of the drama is so horrible, but... (3:17), I think this line shows the efforts of a character who still tries to protect something, and I like that.

(3:31) I thought it would really be a shame to show too simple of a character-- too simple emotions. The director never okayed it if I showed emotions too simply. That's how I wanted it, too. And they really did a good job of filming the emotions that came up naturally. So I tried not to show one-dimensional emotions. I think I paid a lot of attention to that. (3:41), I never laughed/smiled. I wanted that as well. And they shouted the emotions that came naturally well. That is why I was worried about the emotions coming out at first try (and tried to prevent it).

(4:00) First of all, I learned a lot at the shooting scene. At every scene, he (Ji-Sung or writer or director/tn) told me everything. It was like I met a teacher. (That’s why) he’s always (a/the) sunbaenim I should be always thankful to. (4:20) There weren't a lot of funny scenes. I had  lot of scenes where I had to cry... I only have memories of crying (laughs).

(4:35) They set the atmosphere like that for you, so rather than saying that I cried, it's more like they made it so that you couldn't help but cry.

Interviewer: ah, but the tear scenes are so… they are so real. I guess I’m a crybaby [laughs]. I guess I just want to cry.

It’s a drama that can be shot and made once, I think. I had a lot of worries about how should I shoot this since I wasn’t sure how, but I still had the greed to shoot it. I ran to it at all costs, I think I should walk to it a little bit more, (still) it’s a work that I could catch (work on, make my own/tn).

Yes, sure. Even now I’m hardworkingly recording, and (5:27) that drama is still airing. I’m trying hard to make/play characters who are different from Gaon.

My routine-first, after The Devil Judge, I didn’t have many proper days-off, so sport/exercising. Waking up in the morning, eating a breakfast that is not heavy, home work, laundry [laughs]. Well, about laundry and cleaning, (5:57) I think all I do is laundry and cleaning.

Something like, when you just come back home and work, when I saw a clean house, I (felt like) I rested well. If the house is dirty, I cannot watch it, so (because) I cannot handle it for too long I cleaned it myself. “I should do it,” it bothered me like this. (6:17) I can't stand the sight of it, so even when I don't have a lot of time to sleep, I clean and then sleep. I have to do that to feel relaxed. It's not that I have this really clean personality, it's just that I can't look at things piling up. With clothes too, if I don't wear them a lot, I just get rid of them. I don't have that strong a sense of wanting to own stuff, so when I see things pile up, I think, "I have to hurry up and clean this."

I'm not that tidy type of a person, I cannot watch the (6:27) … . (The same for clothes,) if I see many clothes, I will just throw them to the laundry. I don’t have that (6:34), just looking at the size (makes me go) “Ah, clean it up, you boy. I need to (handle it) to the laundry,” in my thoughts.

(6:42) I'm a hypochondriac, so I think I really look after my health.

Can we talk about novel! vs show!Porchay?

Please take this with a grain of salt because we haven’t actually reached the parts of the plot I’m going to talk about so there is still room for it to happen in the show, however unlikely it’s looking so far.

NOVEL SPOILERS AHEAD (obviously)

So far, show!Chay has been a little ray of sunshine while also making it clear whose brother he is, which novel!Chay did a little differently. In the original novel, Porchay was a little spicier when it came to his language, which can be very clearly seen in two parts of the novel.

“Do you think this will scare me? You're just being insecure. Because whatever you do, my brother will always be ahead of you. He's even better than you because P’Kinn won't follow him around like that if he's not!”

So the first is when he’s kidnapped by Tawan and takes it as an opportunity to mock his brother-in-law’s ex and hit him where it really hurts. The novel even mentions him having fun annoying him. He also calls Tawan a preschooler.

"Kim, you fucking bastard! Just try getting on with someone else, I'll pray to the Gods to make your dick shrink and rot!"

The second time is during the gathering of mafia wives (Tae’s words, not mine), which he tags along on because he’s absolutely convinced Kim is cheating on him (as far as we know, he was not). And he yells that out the car window as they drive away.

So, in conclusion, I really would love to see Baby Chay show his fangs a little bit. He’s been very precious so far, and I appreciate that, I really do, especially in a mafia show where he is the one shining beacon of purity and Wattpad-like joy amidst the darkness of moral ambiguity, but at the same time, it could be interesting to see him just SNAP at some point. He is Porsche’s little brother after all, and I would love to see him make at least a snarky comment.

Timelining KP

The time has come. I’ve spent the last few days organizing my notes as much as possible, so here it is. And it is a monster of a post, I swear I didn’t realize how long this was going to end up being.

HUGE NOVEL SPOILERS AHEAD

So the short version is this:

Ep 10 - VP starts, Chay gets kidnapped, further discussion of the mole, videos, Tawan is dealt with (30 - 33)

Ep 11 - VP episode, “fuck where’s Pete”/dead body, Porsche’s birthday (34 - 36)

Ep 12 - funeral/Return of the Pete, post-VP (36 - 40)

Ep 13 - parental issues, conversation re: Vegas  (42 - 44)

Ep 14 - boss battle, party (44 - end)

And now things get more specific, which is what was taking me so long.

Episode 10 (next episode)

Transition between the end of the Tawan arc and the beginning of the VegasPete/Everything-Is-An-Absolute-Trainwreck arc

VegasPete starts (obviously)

KinnPorsche will probably break up, but get back together by the end of the episode, potentially with the pool scene (although I know I’m setting myself up to be clowned with this one)

Kidnapping plotline

Porsche tries to move out/Big pushes Chay dumpster fire extravaganza

Basically everything up to the end of chapter 33 of the main novel (Tawan arc over, KimChay are a mess)

Further discussion of the mole (Kim knows Porsche isn’t the mole, everyone else probably realizes he isn’t the mole, so who is?)

Again, potentially Chay getting kidnapped (kinda hoping that’s what they go with since it was a really nice transition in the novel, not just for Chay himself, but it was the push KinnPorsche needed to talk out some of their issues and get back together, particularly for Porsche to be willing to hear Kinn out after the shit he pulled)

Maybe the whole thing with the sex tapes toward the end, or episode 11, or not at all, who knows

Oh and this would be the VegasPete episode that will probably feel the most uncomfortable because it’s really the beginnings of their relationship and even toned down it’ll be quite the experience

Not just for us but for Pete as well

We will probably see Vegas become more attracted to Pete beyond just being intrigued and amused

I’m thinking primarily VegasPete, like (hopefully) almost entirely VegasPete

Probably cut in with some main family drama

🐱Yes, everyone. The filming for Dare to Love Me is over. At the end of this work, I feel restless. I feel both relieved & sad about finishing this project, and I just feel warm and touching feelings. This drama has been really enjoyable & fun to film. Laughter never leaves the set & it was always fun. To be honest, creating this comfortable is thanks to the director as well, but also largely the staff. Thanks to you all, it was a very enjoyable filming. Although Dare to Love Me has ended, i think Yoonbok and Hongdo are happy here in Paris. Thank you very much for your love for Dare to Love Me.

O ponto de partida exato da história de Hwang Soogeun foi o debut do girl group S.T.A.R. – nomeado a partir das iniciais das integrantes Sooyeon, Taehee, Ahra e Raon – pela JG Entertainment em 1994, e a eventual ascensão de Oh Sooyeon como o primeiro amor da Coréia. A beleza clássica e inofensiva junto de sua personalidade enérgica e jovial foram receita para o sucesso, e o final da década de 1990 foi marcado por sua presença inescapável, com seu rosto estampado em propagandas de todo tipo. Também fez alguns trabalhos como atriz e, apesar das críticas negativas em relação à sua atuação, suas participações sempre geravam expectativa e audiência o suficiente para que ela tenha mais créditos até que alguns atores profissionais.

Mesmo com tanto sucesso, nem tudo eram flores. Era comum que netizens usassem dos fóruns para tecer comentários maldosos sobre como o sucesso de Sooyeon se devia à sua aparência e nada mais, como as demais integrantes do grupo eram muito mais talentosas que ela e até mesmo insinuações de que seus contratos eram obtidos através de favores sexuais ao CEO, Janggok Taeoh. Ainda que a última afirmação fosse categoricamente mentirosa, tamanho julgamento e pressão foram minando pouco a pouco a autoestima da garota, tornando-a cada vez mais dependente de validação. Logo, quando perdeu seu lugar de queridinha da nação para uma artista mais jovem perto da virada do milênio, não demorou muito para que trocasse a validação do grande público pela validação masculina.

Foi menos de um ano entre o início do relacionamento e a gravidez de Sooyeon, tudo feito pelas costas da agência e mantido por debaixo dos panos até que não pudesse mais esconder a barriga. Não se sabe o que foi verdadeiramente falado dentro da sala do CEO no dia em que fora descoberta, mas o desfecho é de conhecimento geral: foi mantida afastada das atividades do grupo sob o pretexto de se focar em sua carreira como atriz até o final do contrato, quando apenas as outras três integrantes renovaram com a empresa. Todas as suas tentativas de voltar à mídia, fosse por meio de lançamentos musicais, atuação, programas de televisão ou até mesmo programas de rádio foram bloqueadas pela JG Ent. Ela estava, oficialmente, fora dos holofotes.

Tendo tido sua estreia muito nova, Sooyeon simplesmente não sabia o que fazer além de ser uma celebridade; a vida de socialite era terrivelmente entediante e seu marido, um investidor riquíssimo, passava mais tempo no trabalho do que em casa. Passou a desejar que a criança em seu ventre fosse uma garotinha para alegrar seus dias, e que ela pudesse mimar e transformar em uma princesinha como ela própria. No quarto mês, a decepção: a ultrassonografia revelou um menino.

A primeira pergunta que a mãe fez aos médicos quando Soogeun nasceu, antes de indagar sobre sua saúde ou qualquer outra coisa, foi quanto tempo ela precisaria esperar para engravidar novamente. A resposta foi “dois meses”, e quase que exatamente dois meses depois de dar à luz ao primogênito ela já estava esperando sua segunda criança. O momento em que recebeu a notícia de que daria à luz a uma menina está entre as maiores alegrias de sua vida pós-fama, e o resto de sua gravidez foi uma experiência completamente filtrada por sua excitação em enfim ter uma menininha para entretê-la e moldá-la a sua própria imagem.

Os anos que se seguiram, no entanto, viraram do avesso as expectativas da mulher. Quanto mais Soojin amadurecia, mais sua menininha perfeita se mostrava rebelde e independente, enquanto Soogeun era completamente suscetível à sua influência. À medida que o convívio entre mãe e filha se tornava pior, a mais velha voltava suas atenções para o primogênito, apostando suas fichas todas em seu garotinho especial. Com seus visuais e habilidades muito além da idade, Soogeun poderia muito bem ter seguido os passos de sua mãe e entrado na JG Entertainment; foi a influência materna que o impediu, a mágoa de ter sido descartada pela empresa em seus anos de ouro ainda grande demais para que entregasse seu bem mais precioso para Taeoh. E Soogeun não fazia nada sem a permissão da mãe, ignorando as audições para a empresa mais tradicional do k-pop para entrar como um dos trainees mais jovens da história da Atom Entertainment com oito anos de idade, e ficou lá por tempo o suficiente para que seu debut como maknae do próximo grupo masculino da empresa fosse dado como certeza. Era conhecido pelos fãs como o caçula da Atom Family, o que tornou os eventos seguintes ainda mais inexplicáveis para quem acompanhava o cenário da música pop coreana de perto.

Quando Changmin saiu da empresa e começou sua busca por membros para seu novo grupo, Sooyeon recebeu uma ligação de um dos assistentes pessoais do CEO da Wishbone Corporation. Com promessas de uma estreia rápida e prioridade para seu filho nas promoções do futuro grupo, ela foi rapidamente seduzida. Dizem as más línguas que isso foi proposital, uma das artimanhas de Changmin para irritar os ex-sócios ao roubar seu bebêzinho bem debaixo de seus narizes, mas não há como dizer ao certo; a única certeza nessa história toda é que Soogeun foi retirado pela mãe da Atom Ent e tornou-se trainee da Wishbone. 

Ainda que o Aftermath não tenha vencido o reality Next Generation, uma grande parte do tempo de tela do programa além das apresentações era dedicado ao drama de Hwang Soogeun competindo contra os hyungs do grupo do qual deveria ter feito parte. Ainda que não fosse o mais tecnicamente talentoso entre os membros, seus visuais inocentes e storyline no programa fizeram com que fosse um dos membros mais populares do programa, com uma enorme expectativa sendo criada ao redor de seu debut oficial.

O sucesso imediato que fora prometido a Soogeun não veio, e ele passou os primeiros anos inquieto e inconformado. Não que o Aftermath jamais tenha sido um grupo verdadeiramente desconhecido, mas sua mãe havia criado a expectativa de um sucesso meteórico como o dela própria, que ganhou o coração da Coréia com o primeiro single. Imaturo como era na época, grande parte de sua insatisfação foi extravasada em atos de rebeldia juvenil, desafiando principalmente os managers e o líder de seu grupo. Tudo longe das câmeras, claro, pois não era um idiota.

Foi apenas a partir de 2015, com o crescimento rápido do sucesso do grupo, que enfim começou a ver frutos das promessas do CEO de todos aqueles anos atrás: papéis em webdramas, uma aparição nas passarelas do Seoul Fashion Show, ser um dos apresentadores do Inkigayo… Mas ainda que isso fosse um crescimento, nenhuma dessas coisas era o suficiente para saciar a gana que Soogeun tinha, tal como sua mãe, de ser uma presença inescapável. Ao ouvir sobre o projeto da mais nova edição da série de dramas School, sabia que aquele era seu caminho para cair no gosto do grande público. O único problema era que todos os outros jovens atores da Coreia do Sul, idol ou não, estavam pensando a mesma coisa.

A mãe o havia ensinado desde cedo que às vezes, só talento não era o suficiente; precisava de uma garantia. Em uma das raras ocasiões na qual tratou diretamente com o CEO, Changmin ofereceu uma solução – por meio de palavras cheias de insinuações e mensagens nas entrelinhas, da maneira que Changmin sempre fazia, para que não pudesse ser responsabilizado – ao mencionar uma investidora da emissora que poderia facilmente virar a maré a seu favor, se ele estivesse disposto a pagar o preço. E se há uma única verdade sobre Hwang Soogeun é que, pela fama, ele está disposto a pagar qualquer preço.

A mando dos assistentes de Changmin, um dos managers do grupo facilitou e acobertou os encontros de Soogeun com sua benfeitora. Tal como o CEO havia prometido, ele ganhou o papel e se firmou como um verdadeiro idol actor com um projeto de grandes proporções. E foi tão fácil que ele simplesmente continuou. Sempre que achava que sua carreira precisava de um gás, era só dormir com alguma diretora de meia-idade e as oportunidades apareciam como por mágica.

Atualmente, Soogeun está tão perto quanto se pode chegar do topo do mundo, e pretende ultrapassá-lo e chegar até os céus. Ele fará de tudo para que nada nem ninguém o derrube.

Ep 13 Kinn Porsche - Character Post - Snape is in the house

I have a theory since ep 2, but didn’t have evidence. Post Ep 13, i think this theory is probable now. This is a long post because i want to make sure people understand the nuances of this character’s choices and decisions.

What do we know about Korn?

Korn, the dad ; Korn, the astute observer; Korn, the human psyche reader - and he is brilliant at all three...

He LOVES his sons. He has not only given them the freedom they need (within mafia world pragmatic realm), but he also respects each of their personalities and idiosyncrasies. Infact, he has nurtured them in line with their personalities and is their greatest teacher.

Towards Tankhun - 

Korn loves him and EVERYONE in the house knows that very well.

Best Security - TK gets assigned the strongest of the bodyguards. Pete, who is the best of the lot. Arm, who is the smartest. Pol, who is one of the top notch (remember how “best bodyguards” accompanied Kin to jewelry auction). But, this goes a step further. Remember, Kim mentioning that all bodyguards are trained and vetted by Korn! Korn knows his bodyguards very well.  Korn is a fantastic people reader. So, Korn has not only assigned the best bodyguards to TK, but he has assigned bodyguards with the most affable, empathic, and patient nature!!!This detail is just beautiful

Inclusion - For a man who is not involved in business since a very young age, how do you think he developed such acute sense of mafia business and people’s psyche? A man who is emotionally so unstable, how is he able to see through the shenanigans of this dirty business and people in general? Because, Korn has trained him, while making sure that TK never feels he is useless or worthless. Korn has made sure TK is part of family meetings, he is part of all important decisions... AND THAT HIS OPINION IS RESPECTED, GIVEN WEIGHTAGE... In the Tawan episode, where we saw TK be part of family decisions... look at how seriously Korn listens to TK and reacts to it... WHEN YOUR BOSS REACTS, YOU CAN’T DARE MAKE FUN OF IT

Pampering - The man gets what he wants. Kin, who has to take Korn’s permission for EVERYTHING (even to go after Porsche in ep 12) , gave up Porsche in ep 2 to Tankhun (while clarifying that Korn has appointed Porsche to him so he can’t give away, but since it is TK who is asking he will). Tankhun will get whatever he wants!!! BECAUSE KORN ALLOWS IT.

Utmost respect - The way Korn treats TK is simply b’ful. It shows the gentleness and astute understanding of handling people. It shows such a wonderful parenting in context of being part of a mafia (dangerous, illegal, constant threat) ecosystem. It shows, how he respects TK’s personality traits - whether (as Tong puts it that he is playing TK to be a big feminine) it is the feminine aspect, whether it is emotional instability, whether it is TK’s choice to not get involved in business/go out / deal with outsiders etc.. whatever it is.. TK’s choices are respected

He is a very good dad

Towards Kim:  Absolute love for his youngest

Freedom - He is not just the youngest, but he is IN COLLEGE. He is not officially part of the mafia business...and YET because he wants to live outside of the mafia four walls, KORN respects that choice and let him be. He also, lets Kim choose his own interests.. if music it is ..then fine..music it is Mentoring - While Kim could be born with inquisitive trait (inherited from Korn), but to become a good sleuth you do need to learn the tricks of the trade. At young age, bite me, if Korn didn’t teach him. Whether it were bodyguards directed to play with Kim some sorta sleuthing stuff.. or that Kim is provided with some tasks here and there in his adult age... the fact that in ep 4, Kim could come to Korn and leave with the snide remark on being interested in dad, the fact that Kim uses bodyguards for his sleuthing work knowing fully well that the loyalty of those bodyguards lies with Korn (the true boss) and not Kim... BECAUSE  I will say this, Kim is being mentored by Korn. And, Kim is getting directions from Korn on some tasks here and there. That mystery board, Korn knows about it...and got Kim on it...( Otherwise what makes a 22 yr old to start digging his dad and family history??? And this has nothing to do with Porsche.. he was on this since before) Space - When Kim walked into his room and opened the drawers, Korn knew. But, he never questioned Kim or asked anyone else to find about it. When he found out Kim is asking questions and has even contacted the corrupt policeman, he did not do anything. Just, used the information to play a chess move with Porsche He is a very good and caring dad

Towards Kinn:  Supportive - when he bought the music competition result for Kinn, honestly he was being a caring dad, trying not to hurt his kid because he could afford to buy that happiness. Kinn, i doubt, has ever vocalized his interest in not being part of the mafia business. However, i also think, there are no “out” in this business. So, even if Kinn didn’t want to ... one of the borthers had to otherwise this family would be eliminated Mentor - I wrote a piece on chess play in ep 5. The consistent pattern is that Korn and Chan set the chessboard for Kinn (before he plays).. and Kinn usually starts with an advantageous position... The way Korn mentors Kinn on everything (reading people, reading situations, when to make friends with enemies...Vegas does not have that luxury.. so in comparison you will see that he is going such extra miles to coach Kinn in everything) Life and freedom - Kinn is allowed the freedom that is possible. No judgements or questions asked on romantic choices, on anything honestly.

Respecting choices - Korn knew tawan was wrong, but Kinn made a choice and it was respected (partially as a lesson too i guess).. Kinn again made a choice with Porsche and it was respected. No questions asked!.. if Korn wanted, he could have pulled a father -in -law money packet slap with tawan long ago

Genuinely cares for safety of his sons. He is a very good dad to Kinn

Korn the Brother

Ep 2:

Kann: Aren’t you being too kind to bodyguards

Korn: Sometimes, people deserve second chance (looks at kann and continues) ... or third chance

Kann: (smirks) And do you ever give chances to everyone?

Korn: ( looks at Kann, smiles, looks away, and then walks away)

Yes, he gave the chance...a third chance.. to only ONE person ever... to his baby brother!

For all the hate that gets talked about, Korn is really not doing anything to put Kan in place. Do you think if kindergarten mafia can guess what Vegas does, Korn wouldn’t know. Yes, there is no evidence to frame minor family for illegal businesses and all...but does Korn really need evidence to bring Kann down?

NOPE. And, in ep where Kann turned up with Ken’s head, and Korn still chose to let him go away and not kill him. The more i think about it, Korn has repeatedly made the choice to protect his brother. But, this doesn’t mean Korn is stupid. He also knows how to keep his brother in check, just the way he knows how to keep his sons in check. No one is allowed to cross limits.

Korn the Boss

He is a good boss. We heard Pete in ep 13, and we have been watching Chan since last 13 episodes. We have seen bodyguards are fairly loyal to him. Bodyguards are genuinely cared for - live in 5 star, in home medical care, get food. Yes, there are protocols .. can’t eat anytime.. that’s fine.. think like military (that’s not wrong leadership...but need to drive discipline... no phone, actually good call in this business from security standpoint). His bodyguards are taken care of, and are loyal. In ep 1, when Korn told Kinn to get Porsche on the boat, recall he said “You” are struggling with finding a loyal bodyguard who can’t be bought with money.

Korn the Mafia

This is interesting. If there is one character in this entire show who understands mafia business then it is clearly Korn :D 

Our Italian friends even told Kinn that Korn has different way of doing business. It is more mature and more powerful compared to Kinn’s emotional outbursts and short term plays.

He is a good mafia, and a very good strategist

Korn the Uncle/ to Porsche

Who keeps handprints if they didn’t mean anything? It is not the photo of Porsche’s mother...but of Porsche and Porchay.

Ep13 - Thee is being hunted by major family. But, did you think if he is being hunted down to avoid making more trouble for Porsche? because, Thee , for money, can sell Porsche’s information to anyone?          

Look at him , so concerned with Porsche’s safety. This is care people. Not convoluted murder plan.

Why did Korn not find Porsche earlier, when they are practically living in the same house. When uncle is so closely being watched via his loan sharks (who work for Korn or have ties) - BECAUSE PORSCHE WASN’T IN DANGER UNTIL NOW

And I will leave you with the most sentimental piece

Look content outside of the series also has a meaning. Why Apo on piano? We have not seen anyone else on piano. Chay, Kim are guitar guys. We also got rid of Kinn and his musical interests (violin/guitar ... everything)

I will make a prediction. Porsche’s mom loved Piano, and she taught Porsche

So, what does it mean?

Here is my hypothesis

1. We have Korn and Kann in love with Porsche’s mom

2. and/or Porsche’s mom was in danger and had to be brought back home for protection but Porsche’s dad did not agree. Maybe Kann shot him, or someone else did

All these years later, 

Korn is actually protecting everyone. There is a 3rd force that has started to make its presence feel. 

Korn put Kim to that mystery board and trace back family history. And, not too much of a stretch but kim is allowed to stay outside to avoid moles and conduct this sleuthing, but has to report the progress.

Korn has tried to protect Kann so much!!! And, Korn as hell protects his sons.

Porsche is in danger!  

3. This show has tried hard to not give in to obvious conclusions...hence i think we are just scratching the surface with Korn...but character is deep

Yes, I'm still doing these! It's just happening more slowly than I'd like because writing for work + writing fic + trying to go to bed before midnight + so much amazing content being released that clearly must be poured over and dissected = less time to make guides. Ep 112 “Dalbang School Part 1” (Ep: 5 / KM: 4)

The ones with BTS in a classroom driving Teacher Jin insane

5:58 - JM declares that he and Taehyung will pair up (by being the first to hug each other in a game), but then when Hobi blows the whistle at 6:38, JK runs over to hug JM before Tae can get to him.

6:58 - Jin asks why JM said he wanted Tae and then hugged JK. JM explains that he didn't hug him, he just found himself in JK's hug as JK cackles in the background.

7:24 - When Jin blows his whistle at the class, JK and JM mirror each other in putting a finger in one of their ears.

7:35 - Teammates JK and JM are immediately on the same page about wanting their team name to be Kim Seokjin. When they have to change it, JM quickly picks up JK's suggestion that they call their team Bang Sihyuk. These don't sound like particularly unique moments, but when you watch it, it just really strikes you how in sync the two of them are in terms of physicality, ideas, and sense of humor.

9:52 - After Jin comments that he heard JM did very well in school, JK adds that JM was the top student. When someone else asks if JM was the best or second-best, JK forcefully reiterates that he was the best student.

12:45 - When they get a question right, JK and JM clasp hands and bump their shoulders together.

13:10 - JM and JK both goof around, speaking in satoori and challenging JHope to a fight of sorts.

13:27 - When Jin repeats that they got the question right, JK and JM do exactly the same as 12:45, but seated this time.

14:22, 14:36, 15:13 - In all three of these moments, JM nearly falls over laughing at something JK did that no one else found anywhere near as funny.

23:36 - When JK says he's good at this game, JM laughs and pokes JK in the chest with a marker.

BEHIND 2:30 - JM takes a selfie of him and JK with his personal phone while they're supposed to be paying attention to Jin.

6:35 - JK cheers on JM and calls him Jimin-ssi when JM announces he's doing well on this spot-the-difference round. When Jimin modifies the brag to say he only found four, JK says "that's still quite impressive."

4:50 - We all know how JK is when he gets into his "focus" zone, especially in a competitive environment. But here, when JM rather rudely interrupts JK's melodica practice, JK just starts playing around with him and giggles.

Since filming is underway this week, this seemed like a good time to put this back out there. I don’t see the utter hysteria on here about the ending, (particularly involving Cas) on Tumblr here like I do on Twitter but why not have this be out there in the universe for all instead of only on my google account where I hoard spoilers like a squirrel. 

I am a teacher prepping for online learning, so I haven’t had time to link sources other than “I saw this on social media” so DON’T TAKE THIS TOO SERIOUSLY FOR F*UCKS SAKE. Also, if you could not copy and paste this unto your bullshit journalism site, that would be awesome. Ahem. Certain person.

General Info (oldest to newest). This is a blend of pre-COVID and post COVID, so some might change. 

They are adding a whole extra day to filming to do the final scene. They will film the final scene last.  (Implies logistics- lots of returning people?) PRE COVID SPOILER,I would imagine that is no longer the case

In an interview, Kripe indicated that the series ending would have “peace” for Sam and Dean

Not much new at the TCA’s, but it was said it is “unlikely” Jeffery Dean Morgan will be back since his last appearance was such a good end note. There were some jokes about a Castiel spin off. 

There will be a special tribute ep (Post COVID talk seems to indicate this will still happen)

Misha will be in 15 out of 20 episodes this season (he’s missed 3 so far and I suspect will miss 14 and 16, unclear about 19). 

Cas’ deal with the Empty may come up later in the season. 

Jack will be a critical part of the ending of the show

Dean and Amara’s connection will be explored

In one of his cookbook interviews, Misha used the word “we” several times when talking about the final scene of Supernatural. He said that would be the last scene they shoot. It seemed to imply that he was in the scene, but that could be open to interpretation.

Misha said the ending was “happier than he expected” but also had some sadness. He later used “sad and redemptive”

Misha mentioned that Claire will be mentioned on the show, but as of yet not appear. 

Dean says the line “stop killing my people” (to god?)

Jensen said he doesn’t see how the story could continue past this season, but Jared said its more of “a see you later”

Misha confirmed he’s in the final scene, but he also indicated he had one week of filming left (total?) PRE COVID SPOILERS

Al Cal posted a pic of a “thrown away” call sheet that seem to indicate Micheal, Lucifer, and a character named “Betty” interacting in the bunker. Unclear as to the validity.

Unclear/Rumored: Misha (he is being deliberately cagey), Alex Calvert (Jack- AlCal lives in Vancouver so does not need to), Mark Pelligrino (Lucifer), Osric Chau (Kevin- but likely for another project, he was a week ahead of everyone else)

Reasons Unlikely: Sam Smith (chemo treatment), Kim Rhodes (working at a camp during quarantine)

Jensen said sp 19 is more of a season finale, while 20 is a series finale. Repeated in interviews/livestreams. 

Megan Fitz. (Dabb’s former assistant/writer) complimented both Dabb’s and Glynn’s writing on twitter. Not sure if it is in reference to rewrites or the special retrospective that is planned. 

Jensen indicated that the ending did change per COVID protocols. Unclear how much.

Misha is being very, very cagey about where he is. Some live streams seem to indicate he is not at home, but he has yet to confirm- his presence in 19/20 is hard to track.  In an interview with Metaverse, he was in bed in a hotel looking space and you could see mountains in the background. 

Misha has thrown around the words “final”  and “what he <Misha> would have wanted” per Cas’ ending, “Sad/Proud” and “poignant” were also used.

Romantic Doctor 2 - Ep 13

Sorry for spamming the tag but I just happened to binge the last 3 episodes.

They really couldn’t let Seo Woo Jin be happy for more than half a day, huh?  Just as the writers finally let him show a bit of personality (and he even smiled! at least twice!).  So of course the world had to beat him down again and remind him that all he gets to be is a sad, miserable, tragic boy. SIGH. 

I’ve felt this for a while but whenever Teacher Kim is giving one of his rousing life lessons/speeches, it really feels like an after school special.  Like, for today’s lesson: factory owners should not be greedy and should take responsibility for injuries suffered by workers on the job!  I mean, that’s great I guess if it helps bring awareness to these kind of issues (like the domestic violence against South East Asian/foreign brides in the previous episodes) but like I said, the execution feels very after school special.  Don’t commit insurance fraud, kids!

One of the irritating things about the “evil” characters in this drama is that they never seem to admit their own faults.  For example, Seo Woo Jin’s hyung who blamed him for ruining his life and career.  Um, maybe you shouldn’t have been a corrupt doctor who took bribes and performed shoddy surgeries?  Just a thought?

Anyway, I’m thinking the mystery man in the restaurant is Doldam’s old president and he’ll somehow save Seo Woo Jin from the pickle he was forced into.  Ugh, I can’t believe we have to deal with noble idiocy in a cheesy hospital drama in the year 2020.  If we’re going to bring back outdated drama tropes, can we at least make it an entertaining one? Gosh, watching this drama live really is a roller coaster of an experience.
