Thinking abt Yohan and Isaac growing up thick as thieves. You know how siblings who are very close develop their own coded language at some point ? Not its own language per se but like a repetition of inside jokes/moments lived together that layer up and end up being referenced in certain situations, and the context understood only by them. I feel like they would have that.

Also Yohan standing silently in Isaac's doorway/calling "hyung. Hyung. Hyung ? Hyung" until Isaac asks "what." Then Yohan just says Hi and bolts

Sitting here, once again gutted by the Kenobi show, and all I can think over and over is: He loves him. Obi-Wan loves Anakin and he never ever stops. "I loved you," he said, but the past-tense never actually happens. A decade later, even as he fights him (again), even as he wounds him (again), even as he stands above him, listening to him fight for every breath, he loves him, he loves him, he loves him. It radiates off Obi-Wan, in his tears, in his voice.

When he looks Leia in the eyes, and tells her the little kernel of truth he can, he speaks of Anakin and his voice shakes. And his heart aches. Because he loves Anakin so much, and he loves Leia, and he loves Luke, and he loves the little fragments of Anakin he sees in them, and he loves them, for their own sake, but there's no denying it's that Skywalker blood that connects with his in ways only the Force truly understands.

That love is tempered, folded in burnished steel, over and over and over again, till it is a blade, used with care, used with precision. Used till the arm that wields it is old, and tired, and pragmatic. Used until a sword is needed no more. (And in the end, that sword will break the chains.
