An anime adaptation of Bleach's Thousand-Year Blood War arc has been formally announced.

In addition, a PV teaser and staff listing for the “BURN THE WITCH” anime has been released on its official website. It will receive a theatrical screening in Fall 2020.

    Synopsis

  Historically 72% of all the deaths in London are related to dragons, fantastical beings invisible to the majority of the people.

  While unknown to most, some people have been standing up to these dragons.

  Only inhabitants of Reverse London who live in the hidden “reverse” side of London can see the dragons. Even then, only a selected few become qualified enough as witches or wizards to make direct contact with them.

  The protagonists of the story are witch duo Noel Niihashi and Ninny Spangcole. They are protection agents for Wing Bind (WB), an organization for dragon conservation and management. Their mission is to protect and manage the dragons within London on behalf of the people.

  The story of witches Noel and Ninny continue with BURN THE WITCH Season 2 manga, it was announced on September 14 in the final chapter of the limited series which ran for four chapters in Weekly Shonen Jump over the last few weeks. Not much else is known about 'Season 2' of the Bleach spin-off other than the visual below with "draft pages", but we do know it's "coming soon..."

Pokémon Goes Ghostly and Galar in Pair of New PokéShorts Released Today

  Pokémon debuted not one, but two, wonderfully animated shorts over the past 24 hours, with the first one being the premiere of the Pokémon Evolutions mini-web series and the second being the latest PokéTOON short from the team over at Studio Colorido (Pokémon: Twilight Wings). Gotta say it's a good day to be a fan of Pokémon animation.

  The first episode of Pokémon Evolutions takes us into the viewpoint of Leon during and just after the climax of the Pokémon Sword and Shield video games, having just been defeats by a Pokémon for the first time in a long time and getting psyched up to battle the trainer that did defeat that Pokémon. The short comes to us from the director of the Pokémon Journeys TV anime series at OLM inside Team Kato, Daiki Tomiyasu.

    Meanwhile, over on the Kid's Pokémon YouTube channel, the latest PokéTOON short, "Gengar ni Nacchatta!? (I've Turned Into a Gengar?!)" comes from the BURN THE WITCH team over at Studio Colorido, headed up by director Tatsuro Kawano on team Yamahitsuji.

    The next Pokémon Evolutions short, “The Eclipse” featuring the Alola region, is set to release online on September 23.

BURN THE WITCH Anime Previews Magical Theme from NiL in New Trailer

  A new trailer for the upcoming BURN THE WITCH anime adaptation from Studio Colorido and Team Yamahitsuji was unleashed on the world on September 14, previewing the theme song for the anime "Blowing" by NiL. Alongside that, new information on the Blu-ray release was also announced.

    The Blu-ray Collector’s Edition for BURN THE WITCH will be released through the A-on Store for 10,000 yen (US$95) on December 24 in Japan, complete with a cover drawn by manga creator Tite Kubo and a digipack cover drawn by anime character designer Natsuki Yamada. The collection will have the theatrical version of the anime on it, as well as 5 minutes of bonus footage and a second disc with 62 minutes of material. Five illustration cards by Kubo will also be in the collector's edition.
