The Power Blue variant was a uqiue variant to SSC that was sonsered by Autism Speaks, and only given to Splat and Double Dare Trigger Happy (along with their vehicles.)
This makes it the worse variant, why?
Splat and DD.Trigger Happy, with the implied autism with them being both Power Blue, are the two most STRONGLY present stereotypes for the autistic community.
Splat: Very intelligent, gifted individual, but also outcasted by her people for her special interest until it befits them. Very verbal. (Think gifted child), and humanoid.
Trigger Happy: Non-verbal, talks in mostly babbles, hyperactive, non-humanoid, very prone to violence. Crazy.
Would have this been a problem if it wasn't just them? Maybe not. Then again… considering Autism Speaks (even at the time) agent towards shunning the Autistic community and eraticate them….
Not such a good thing…

Trigger Happy
Tumblr media
Trigger Happy is a tech core from Spyro’s Adventure. His primary attack is to shoot coins from the two guns he holds, and his secondary attack is to throw a pot of gold in front of him. His tertiary is to summon a golden machine gun that shoots golden bullets. His upgrade paths enhance his golden guns (top), and his pot of gold (bottom). I took mine down the pot of gold path, because it turns a simple mid-range toss to a more area-of-effect attack, which is needed due to the nature of his other abilities. Trigger Happy is one of the truest longrangers I've ever seen; I've had to run away from enemies multiple times to find enough space for his abilities to be effective. That said, he's very fun. Unlike most skylanders, where you have to perform a specific action to get them to speak, (opening a gate, winning a battle, opening a chest, suchlike), Trigger Happy will laugh and chatter for no reason other that that it is fun. He's a horrible, loud, little gremlin, and I can see why he's so loved. Overall: 8/10, Trigger Happy is a solid longranger.
If you want to play as a similar skylander, Trigger Happy is similar to Star Strike (of Swap Force)
If you want to play co-op, Trigger Happy would be fantastic support for a true shortranger, like Bash or Slam Bam (both of Spyro's Adventure)
also, @autisticreigen
(if you want to be mentioned when i put out a review for your favorite skylander, just ask or message me)

Widget the Tech Portal Master
I've always wanted to design a nonhuman Portal Master OC, and so I decided to repurpose one of my older Skylanders OCs into a Portal Master while also redesigning her
Widget is a Kobold who originally came from a distant world known as Talathus, whose technology and architecture is similar to that of Skylands. Widget came to Skylands after investigating an interdimensional portal known as the Realm Gate, which is also the last standing remnant of a now extinct species from her homeworld.
Much like other Kobolds of her home, Widget is very tech savvy. She built her mechanical arm, monocle, and staff from scrapped Arkeyan parts she gathered from the Rampant Ruins.
Tumblr media
Some factoids about her:
She's good friends with Mags and Sharpfin and often works with them
She sometimes will repair the armor and/or machinery of Tech Skylanders who have been injured in battle.
She often works with Sharpfin and his pit crew on repairing the SuperChargers' vehicles when they are damaged from battle.
Her favorite Skylander to work with is Drobot, and the two often get along well with each other.

I know gameplay-wise she's not necessarily the most popular. But I still think sprocket is just really really cool.

Yes, the doodle gears were necessary. It can't be Tech without them.

Now that I know my phone has NFC compatibility, I’m wondering if I could write Skylanders NFC chips on it.
I’m trying to look up how to write dump files (since that’s what file type all the Skylanders are) from a phone, but I’m not finding anything.
Does anyone know if it’s even possible to write dump files onto an NFC chip on a phone or not?

Under Master Eon's orders, Trigger Happy was assigned to a mission with Blades, Night Shift and Bouncer to stop Magus from using a machine that threatened all of Skylands. However Blades, who was still learning how to be a Skylander, was on the verge of ruining the mission due to his recklessness. After an attempt to teach the young dragon about the value of working as a team, Blades claimed that he didn't need anyone's help and went on ahead to stop Magus by himself, prompting Trigger Happy, Bouncer and Night Shift to follow after him. As they talk about Blades' behavior with Bouncer, Trigger Happy agreed with Night Shift that Blades would learn his lesson the hard way.

Drobot
Tumblr media
Drobot is a tech core from Spyro’s Adventure. His primary attack is to shoot lasers from his eyes, and his secondary attack is to fling bladegears from his wings. His tertiary is to fly, rocketing forward with damaging afterburners. If you hold the tertiary attack button, Drobot can also hover. Unlike many of the other dragons, his flight is a little harder to learn, as he can be a little hard to steer. You can't stop Drobot while he's flying and have the afterburners still running. His upgrade paths enhance his lasers (top), and his bladegears (bottom). Each path upgrades the damage of what's already there, so if you prefer using the gears, go down the gear path, if you love the lasers, take the laser path. Regardless of which path you take him down, Drobot is a force to be reckoned with, tearing through enemy health bars as if they're nothing. His lasers have incredible range, and the hover can keep him safe from traps or melee enemies. I heard that he was overpowered in Spyro's Adventure, and they toned him down for Giants. I played him primarily in Giants, and he ripped through everything he saw. “If he can do that in Giants,” I thought, “how overpowered is he in Spyro's Adventure?” Overall: 10/10. Drobot is deservedly popular. If you don't have him, you're seriously missing out.
If you like Drobot's play style, and want to play as a similar skylander, he plays similarly to the ranged dragons (think Cynder and Whirlwind), and other fast longrangers, like Flameslinger. (All of Spyro's Adventure)
If you want to play co-op, Drobot pairs well with other versatile skylanders (I enjoyed pairing him with Flashwing, of Giants), or a skylander a little older than him, so that they're equally powerful.

Once again, I forgot I had Tumblr, but I'm back again, this time showcasing a redesign for an OC of mine, Scramjet.
Scramjet is a Tech element dragon-like robot who relies on her speed in combat, and can fire missiles and blue flame jet exhaust from her wings. She's the fastest of her team both on ground and in the air.
Her design is based on fighter jets and aircrafts, the Pokémon Garchomp, and Valstrax from Monster Hunter.
