Can Technology Change Soldiers?
Tumblr media
"Can Technology Change Soldiers?" If you've seen the movies, you know that is a question that gets asked with great skepticism. But if you're not familiar with military service, you may be asking the same thing. Before answering this question, let's examine why it is important to consider such an important question. Remember that in real life, it may be necessary to look for alternatives to certain technologies and solutions because they may prove to be detrimental. On the other hand, if we can reverse engineer some of the technology used by soldiers today, it may be possible to make their life a whole lot easier and more fulfilling. In military service organizations, the future of the industry is one of the greatest questions to consider. There are different approaches to that question depending on the individuals who must answer it, but we believe there are at least three things that every service organization must address in order to address this important issue. First, a military service must consider the technologies that exist in the marketplace today. While there are no direct substitutes to traditional soldiership, there may be a number of potential applications that may allow a service to adjust its operations. Consider one example, one that we studied in a recent study conducted by James O. Corbett, Jr., of the University of Texas, Austin. Dr. Corbett found that today's soldiers are being treated differently than those employed in World War II. We believe that there is a need to examine the new medical treatments being considered by military service organizations, especially those treatments that may impact the way that soldiers treat each other. Military service organizations should also consider the applications of computer systems and robotics that help to streamline work processes, improve logistics, and speed up the production of goods and services. Second, the scope of military service changes as more combat situations are encountered. Any service organizations must address the impact on their operations. As technology changes, there may be ways to develop new concepts, new solutions, and better ways to train. Additionally, there may be new approaches to missions that might require changes in military force's technological capabilities. Today's mission may not require training troops on all types of weapons. So, it is important to examine how the various types of weapons that the military uses compare to what our adversaries might use. Finally, technology that was required to keep the economy running might no longer be required. Many people doubt that technology will be able to sustain itself. In short, technology may be necessary for support of military work and for growth, but when it comes to sustainable growth, the price of this technology may become greater than what it is worth. This means that military service organizations must consider the value of technology when they are contemplating how to best equip their troops. Given these issues, we believe that those service organizations who conduct research and development on new technologies may need to seek guidance from another organization that can advise them. If there is a force that is unwilling to consider these questions, we are not sure what they are doing with their business. As always, if you are serving in the armed forces, you should take the time to consider these questions. There is a lot to consider, and while technology has changed the ways in which the world works, there are many areas where the world is still much the same.
Will Technology Change Soldiers?
Tumblr media
Will technology change soldiers? I have had several conversations about this with service members recently. What will their future looks like and do they support their service? The prospect of leaving the military service when the technological world has changed so much in their field is a very exciting concept, but one which cause concern for some. They fear that they may not be able to keep up and compete with the trends in technology. The biggest challenge for some in their current service is the fact that they are not technically proficient enough to keep up with the new technologies or keep pace with the changes occurring in the military service. Will this technology affect their future service life or affect the rate at which they serve. There are also the concerns that some of their past experiences may not give them the insight that they need to fully understand what is happening in the new world that they now live in. This is where the leadership of today needs to help them with the transition. That can come from the top. With the stress levels that the combat force is facing, these are the types of things that need to be looked at before the issues are identified and resolved. Now is the time to take action before the challenges become a problem. Finding out what the future warrior will look like is crucial in shaping the future soldier. Will the culture of the military service change or remain the same? Some of these changes are caused by the persons themselves, as they come into service with the challenges and frustrations of the knowledge that is available to them. They need to understand the new things and figure out how to solve problems or change the way that they work. It seems that some of the people who are in charge in the military service are not offering the young people of the same service that they did when they were enlisted in the service. They seem to be focusing on what the veterans have done in order to get through their challenges instead of what the future soldiers will face. When you hear that a guard service is doing their part to help a young man or woman with challenges and problems in the future, it is important to realize that it is in their best interest to do so. This is the same thing that the Marine Corps was doing. The Marine Corps was focusing on the new technology and strategy to help the modern warrior. It is much different than concentrating on the past experiences of the guard or private service members. Will technology change the military service? It sure is going to change the culture and future of these young men and women that are now in the military service.

Can Technology End Soldiers?
Tumblr media
The term technology has entered the common lexicon and into our daily conversations, including on many of the media sites that post on our issues. However, if you have recently read about an upcoming event or research an issue, did you come across any statements about technology and military service? Will technology end your service? The reality is that while technology will improve and continue to improve in every aspect of our lives, we cannot say with certainty that future generations will not be limited by the technologies that we create today. Many of the military service opportunities available to us today will be made obsolete as the military service field continues to grow and develop. Most often, when one speaks about technology and military service, it is the case that those involved have to serve in the military service with a branch of the armed forces in the United States. Many recruits and their families also believe that they are being asked to take on the burdens and responsibilities of a full-time career, something that they might not be able to afford. Because of this belief, many of them often choose to enter the military service with the hopes of staying in the military only to find out that there are some career options open to them at the civilian level. The truth is that when you enter the military service, your future is set in stone. There are no other opportunities open to you other than these roles that have been pre-selected for you, without advancement of technology. Of course, if you are considering entering the military service you do have other choices that can help you continue your career and enhance your training and education, even after you have completed your military service. It is important to realize that the process of service has allowed the military to continually evolve and adapt to today's demands, without compromising the loyalty and professionalism that were necessary to make this country the beacon of freedom that it is today. Some companies are now offering positions where the employee can maintain their career within the military service and get some professional experience, or the person can choose to leave the military and begin a new career. Some opportunities are even offered to former military personnel who wish to transition to civilian life with continued employment as a member of the armed forces. Once you complete your military service, you can take advantage of these opportunities as well as continuing your education and training. You have become a veteran and part of the American military family and most likely you will live to see another day. But there is no guarantee that you will. As technology continues to advance and change, there will be positions in which the military service will become obsolete. While it may seem like a cruel fate to have to end your military service when technological advancements and opportunities occur, in fact it is more likely to be the case than not. There is always the possibility that technology can provide a way for the military to keep up with the technological and cultural changes happening in the world today. Also, if the military service is not changing to meet the demands of the new technology, then the military service might just as well be retired. There are those who believe that technology is the answer to everything, and in a time when military service may be obsolete, could it ever be possible to fully reinvent the military service and recruit new members? Although technology is becoming a big part of our lives, will it always have that potential for contributing to the military service? In the end, many will debate what will happen to the service and military when technology inevitably ends. However, it would be wise to remember that technology does not exist in a vacuum. It is what we use today that will be available tomorrow, so we must all do what we can to support the military service by supporting the military as well. It's common knowledge that we need soldiers, that the military service is vital to our security and that without the need for soldiers, our country would lose its leadership position in the world. So, while there is no guarantee that military service will be around for eternity, many believe that the world of tomorrow could look different than the world we live in today.
Will Technology End Soldiers?
Tumblr media
If Will Technology End Soldiers? And if this technology does that then what is left to protect our country? Our country depends on these men and women to do their job to the best of their ability. How would our military service be impacted by this new trend, and will the U.S. go to war with another nation in which we're short? It doesn't matter what nation it is or if you believe that it won't be used. Every day there are new development and advancement. If we're short of soldiers, then we have to be ready for their replacement. I'm not a genius so don't expect me to know what's coming in the future and what is being tested on soldiers. But you can bet that they are testing things on our soldiers like wearing wearable technology on their body. That type of technology would leave us all vulnerable. The question is how secure are we and our families when our soldiers wear these new types of technology? If Will Technology End Soldiers? What's next? Are we going to have another war with another nation because we are short on soldiers. If so we need to make sure that our future of soldiers is protected. Think about the effect that these new developments have on our soldiers and their families. What will happen if soldiers are fighting in an environment where they can't be seen or heard, or what if they can't see or hear either. Will they be okay or will they go crazy? It's my opinion that when our soldiers don't feel safe and our families don't feel safe with these new technologies they won't perform the way they need to. Don't you think that it's dangerous to have these latest advances when we do need them. What if the world collapses and war is happening right now. Soldiers have weapons that can only kill if they have these new types of technology? These new technologies allow these soldiers to kill more quickly. How could they do this if they can't see or hear? The world is getting smaller and small. The advances in technology have come at a cost to our soldiers and their families. As a father, I want my son to have the same opportunities as other men, but he can't get these new technologies without risk. If technology will end soldiers and kill the need for soldiers then we have to find a solution. Is there enough money to do that? What if there are no more soldiers to fight wars? That's not fair, that's not right. If you will take the time to consider all this, you will realize that there is such technology out there. People are worried about the safety of our military, but there are other problems we're facing. We have our own defense department, which is spending a lot of money on its own security. The future looks very bright, especially if Will Technology End Soldiers? You can look at it like this. They're not fighting wars anymore and as a nation that have nothing to lose they can bring technology that will save the future. Think about this and make a choice.

Can Technology Replace Soldiers?
Tumblr media
Some say that technology will never replace the military because they are too expensive, too complex, or too dangerous. However, some say that our military is too small and too vulnerable to the "boom and bust" concept of the technological economy. Of course, technology can replace the military. In fact, the people who keep the technology alive make more money than the military budget of many nations combined. I think this is pretty clear. When it comes to hardware, our military techs can learn to use computers and do engineering work that makes traditional industrial strength tools obsolete. They can build things that make the soldier and all the equipment in his or her unit more effective. How much could a computer do for them? I'll tell you. Computer software is now so cheap that our soldiers can buy them. They can even customize them! But what about the big guys, the corporations and the intelligence community, the governments that keep the technology alive? Our government has had business systems that are out of date for as long as you can remember. Sometimes, the people at those companies are willing to admit that, if we really need it, they will build it. Yet, when a good friend of mine asked one of the politicians why the satellites didn't show up on radar screens during Hurricane Katrina, the politician was like "well, the computer and business systems are so sophisticated, we didn't see it, it just wasn't there." The military techs have an advantage over the rest of us. They have trained generations of techies to use information technologies to solve real problems. We don't need robots or super-computers for our information-basedmilitary, we need human intelligence. We need people like our oldest and best future military officers. In fact, one of our best young military officers said that he can't see another army, navy, air force, or special forces unit coming anywhere close to being as powerful as the Army of the Future. If we are going to build new technology, we should put it in our best interests first. Instead of following the "boom and bust" concept of the entrepreneurial sector, we should invest in the most advanced technologies that our military can use to solve the problems we face today. As a nation, we should choose the next technologies that would give us the most benefit and yet we would have to pay the least amount of money. This would allow the military to have a significant advantage over the rest of the world. As the "first mover" we would receive the benefits of the market first and then we could design a new, better model that would produce more revenue and lower costs. If we would like to solve our future issues, we should invest in the technologies that will win. That means we should do everything we can to continue to develop our military into a force of human intelligence. You are the best person to help us do this. Why not create a Power Point presentation that gives this information and more? Let me know if you want me to make one for you.
Will Technology Replace Soldiers?
Tumblr media
Will technology replace soldiers in the army? There's a misconception that soldiers will retire and "find something else to do" so there won't be any "real" soldiers left. The truth is that we will continue to see guardsmen in our communities and they're quite useful; they patrol our neighborhoods, guard our places of business, and are still an important part of the family. As mentioned above, if you do decide to retire from military service, you should consider this. If the intent of the act of joining the armed forces was to protect the country, then we should be able to continue to use all the means necessary to do so. Technology and innovation can provide us with new ways to protect ourselves. I hope you will please consider this. Is it okay for guardsman to retire, but you still want to continue to serve the country as a military guard? You'll be amazed at the number of intelligent, caring people who do not believe that retired military people have to give up their day jobs. Guard services and guardsmen will continue to be important and employed in the future. You might find that you are asked to retire and given a new purpose as a guardsman when you return home after years of service. Even though you don't have to retire, you should consider whether or not you would like to continue to serve as a guardsman. If you can't serve as a soldier, guard, or police officer, you can still serve your community, families, and local law enforcement with a renewed sense of purpose. For example, you may decide that one day you'd like to become a future guardsman to guard your children. Although you're going to have to work hard to get a job like this, it's worth it. Since so many children around the world are being victimized by global climate change, you may want to volunteer to help protect your family's home. Maybe you could volunteer to help raise the money to build a fence around your yard or to install security lighting. Perhaps you would love to serve as a future guardsman in a state police department, national guard, or any other major law enforcement agency. You'll have to prove that you are able to make decisions for yourself, take command, and be a leader. By serving as a guard in your community, you can help protect homes, businesses, and the families of those who live there. The bottom line is that you will be able to fulfill your desire to protect other people in ways that you were never able to before. You have to decide whether you want to stay in a guard role or retire. What you decide, though, is a choice that is best for you and your family.

Can Technology Save Soldiers?
Tumblr media
Is there a way to save soldiers from the dangers of modern warfare and stop them from having to be a part of combat? And if so, what might that solution look like? Well, there are ways to prevent soldiers from having to participate in wars, but technology has certainly advanced in recent years and there are a number of possible solutions that can help. Americans have been collecting information on the human beings who fought for their country and those who've sacrificed their lives to protect our freedoms, and in many cases, have been willing to become heroes themselves. So why can't technology help in the battle against contemporary war? After all, there is no shortage of people wanting to make a difference and take part in a mission that is important to their future. What high school students can do with a little tech savvy would be to look into volunteer service programs, one of which is called GuardServ. This company and others like it offer volunteer service opportunities for those who are interested in serving our country, but may not have an interest in becoming a soldier. These businesses provide everything from performing surveillance for a day, cleaning the canteen, to food preparation. Maybe you might be thinking about military service as a career. You may be thinking that military service is more for the younger generation, but that may not be the case. It's true that military service has a more practical purpose than any other time in history, but it also takes a great deal of skill and dedication, and anyone who wants to pursue such a path should think about the advantages that a background in IT could give them. Military service is the last resort for those who don't want to commit suicide, but most people do want to try at least once, so enlisting into the military may be an option for you. In any case, technology can help. In fact, for those of you who do want to get a PhD in computer science or anything of the sort, there are things you can do to find out whether technology could help with your involvement in this country's defense. If you're interested in military service, you should think about volunteering for a day job that is centered around IT. Think about what you can learn from working with computers or even how you can improve your knowledge in this field. You'll find that you have the opportunity to work in several different areas of IT, from telecommunications, information technology, and even software design. There are also a number of non-profit organizations that can help support military services. These organizations have an "A" rating from the Better Business Bureau and can prove to be invaluable to those seeking help with their careers. They provide financial aid, work experience opportunities, and many other services that can help make the transition to civilian life easier. You might not be able to do military service, but you can volunteer for one of the many other kinds of voluntary service that are available to you. If you're interested in becoming a guide, you can find the necessary training at the American National Trail Master Association. Being a trail guide is a tremendous benefit to those who wish to see the world, but fear going alone. If you're interested in becoming a wildlife conservationist, the state department of Natural Resources can train you. A degree in wildlife studies is often required for this position, but the training is often a great way to get familiar with the wilderness. There are jobs available in this area, and those who obtain this certification have a range of careers that are open to them. It can be challenging to be involved in military service, but you can always look towards the career field of IT as an alternative to joining the military. What you can learn from this job field and how much information you can get out of it will help make the transition easier. for those who want to enter the service. Look around online for local development companies that offer jobs for anyone interested in doing IT. and be sure to tell them that you would appreciate the opportunity if you were a part of their business.
Will Technology Save Soldiers?
Tumblr media
Will technology save soldiers from the hazards of modern warfare? Is it true that the military today is composed of less than one percent of the world's population? Have technological advances rendered the army a more efficient fighting force? How can the US military transition to the field without sacrificing its ability to fight with less risk of casualties? There is no question that the most advanced technological advances in military science and technology are used by soldiers today. The same advancements that make modern armies able to operate far beyond the capabilities of even the best military companies of the previous century make them uniquely dangerous for our country. For example, a soldier is trained to trust his command, to obey his officers and his superiors, to keep his equipment well maintained, to carry out his mission with discipline and without fear, and to overcome any obstacle without complaint or hesitation. This training has been derived from traditional military tactics and doctrine from years of experience, and from hundreds of hours of training as soldiers against something no longer on the planet. Those who are fortunate enough to receive this training are usually physically capable, mentally stable, and morally upright. Few, if any, troops reach the vast majority of their training without encountering situations that they can't handle alone or in groups. If a soldier falls into any of these categories, and it's unknown what the circumstances are, he may have a negative emotional response to the event that could undermine his capabilities to be effective in the military's high standards for behavior. The inability to handle a violent situation while in complete mental and physical condition will decrease his ability to obey orders, his willingness to do so, and his ability to carry out his mission at a high level. When he faces the danger again, with the time that he now has, he will be capable of being much more of a threat than he was prior to the accident. Will technology save soldiers from casualties in battle? No, technology only makes their training and capabilities stronger. It does not change the fact that today, like never before, troops face the greatest danger in the history of mankind because they're poorly trained, ill equipped, and ill-disciplined. Modern soldiers now face the best-known and deadliest enemy: reality. They're currently expected to fight against the same biological or chemical agents that were used in World War I, World War II, and Vietnam. They also face the highest degree of risk since war is the most perilous activity of all. Will technology save soldiers from a constant battle against the technology itself? No, today's modern military service is a collection of diverse groups whose aims and activities often overlap. Military leaders know that their best chance for victory is to combine these groups in an environment that forces their members to work together. Will technological advancements to improve the military's effectiveness? Of course, it's possible that future innovations in military science and technology may prove sufficient to make military science and technology a more effective tool for the benefit of society. The question should be how, not if. Even if no technological breakthroughs will be made in the future to save military service from facing increased threats, our current system is one that's rarely tested against the unfamiliar. As military science and technology continue to evolve, we need to ensure that every aspect of the military's operation remains balanced, so that those who support it can fulfill their duty to protect the United States and our fellow citizens while also maintaining a high degree of efficiency. Will technological advances make our military a more effective fighting force? Not if military service as we know it is still representative of the history and practices of our civilization.
