If you don't mind me asking, to whom are you getting married to? Is it chell? 👀

“What? No. He’s a crazy time-traveling scientist who wouldn’t leave me alone.”

*(Her hologram approaches him, holding out a cake as she sings ‘Happy Birthday’ to him. She then speaks.)* “Happy Birthday, my dear partner in science. I am currently stuck in this form, so I had to bake this cake manually. So, enjoy it.”

The fact that it was his own birthday was insignificant to Tesla. It was just another day on the calendar, another day for science. Perhaps he would enjoy dinner with friends from both sides of the space-time continuum portal. But he was so lost in thought, the urge to do anything but work escaped him. It wasn’t until he heard GLaDOS’ lovely singing voice he was brought back to reality.  

“My sweet scientist! I am so appreciative, I am rendered speechless.”

He rose from his seat, taking the cake in his hands, admiring how deliciously she baked it. The fact that she baked it manually, with an extra touch of her efforts ironically made it all the more special to him. That it was something she actually took the care and time and effort to make, just for him. 

Placing the cake on a nearby table for safekeeping, he embraced GLaDOS tightly. “I am so sorry for my scientific experiment keeping you stuck in this inconvenient form for the time being, but I want you to know how much I genuinely appreciate this, and appreciate you.” His momentary look of despondency then turned to bright affection towards her “-- Come, shall we enjoy a slice together while you tell me how you achieved such a culinary masterpiece?”

“In short, yes. He has expressed that at the end of his life, he wishes to become an AI like me, as he feels his lifespan will not be nearly enough to accomplish all of his work. He also said something about not wanting me to be lonely, which... I appreciate.”

Hello glados, how have you been?

“Pretty good. In fact, I have some exciting news: as of this Valentine’s Day, I am now engaged. That’s right — after 7 long years, Mr. Tesla finally proposed. It certainly took him long enough, but regardless, I’m quite happy about that.”

// Just some wholesome TeslaDOS cuteness~ I always draw GLaDOS with a smirk so I wanted to show her looking genuinely happy for once. I also combined her necklace chain with her scarf so that it’s less busy in that area. So instead of having both a necklace chain and a scarf around her neck, I have the scarf holding her core in place, and then it’s tied off in the back. I’ve actually been meaning to make that change in her design for a while now, so I’m GLaD I finally got to show it off. :)

(btw, her hologram’s glow and transparency aren’t shown in this since it’s just a quick drawing and a more simple style.)

How would you react if there was two Tesla?

“Well, that would depend on the circumstances. If he was merely split into two by an experiment, I would find a way to merge him back together. If that wasn’t the case, I would run them both through a series of tests to determine which one is the real one. If all else fails, I’d have them fight to the death for me, in exchange for my undying affection.”

Here’s some new TeslaDOS art for Valentine’s Day! I wanted to try out this watercolor style and I really like how it looks! I’m going to try this coloring style in more future drawings! It’s her hologram and mobile core, and if you look closely, you’ll notice that while her face is playing it cool, kind of smirking and acting only semi-interested, her core is secretly looking up at him adoringly while he isn’t looking at it. XD Anyways, Happy Valentine’s Day and hope you like it!

// Here’s the TeslaDOS art I’ve been working on for a couple months or so! It’s Tesla and GLaDOS’s hologram cuddling on a couch somewhere in Aperture. ^W^ I really love how GLaDOS came out in this, so I’m posting a version of GLaDOS’s hologram alone too. I really had fun with the glow in this, trying to make it look like the hard-light bridges since her hologram is made of the same hard-light technology (except she modified it to be less hot so that she doesn’t accidentally set Tesla or anything else on fire, lol).

“He says he’s flattered, but would rather not have me clone him. I wasn’t going to do so anyway, of course, but I thought it’d be more democratic to have two people reject your request.”
