also the funny thing about tri force heroes to me is the fact that like. okay. there's a single-player mode for it which is a whole different thing but fundamentally the game is meant to be a multiplayer game. the game's canon involves it being multiplayer because otherwise all the official art would feature the doppels instead of the trio. and the thing about the trio is that only the green one is actually link. because first of all, the entire reason link was in hytopia in the first place is because he noticed king tuft's sign asking for heroes. which obviously means he's not the only person who showed up there to play hero. and second of all you have this quote from nintendo of america:

"There's no telling where the other hero candidates come from, but the player character you control is the true Hyrulian hero from A Link Between Worlds."

so. in-universe. tri force heroes is literally about link and Two Other Guys Who Also Just Showed Up saving the day in hytopia. which really gets more and more hilarious the more you think about it. who ARE those guys

I’ve seen everyone doing cool Link designs so here’s my take on ALBW/TFH Link! Kept the green hair dye sorta. Got the Lorule fissures as a trim on his tunic. Is wearing some of the cursed tights as an underlayer.
