lee ily thanks for the tag @kennyortegas i gave digital drawing a second change (after years) during quarantine, and here are my favorite drawings

og thank you shirt drawing: not the prettiest but the first i posted here, and i went back and forth sending it to lee and editing stuff, she gave me feedback and the confidence to post it. basically without lee i wouldn’t have made any drawings after this and definitely would have posted none of them. i love lee this is a lee fan page

weird-looking mika drawing: maybe not conventionally pretty but i just had this idea to draw it with the hands and all and was like okay i’m gonna do it and it was the first time i wasn’t like copying a reference image and i lowkey love the cartoonish style it’s more personal imo than just following a reference and trying to draw accurate lines

he’s on the phone with oli drawing: idk it’s soft and cartoonish and i like it and also he’s on the phone with oli do i need more as an explanation?

the end for sea drawing: this took me so so long idk it just took mee too much time and it looks realistic, someone tagged it with edit not fanart and i think that says a lto (although i was slightly annoyed but yeah)

walls oct 28 drawing: this is probably my all-time fave because i put thought behind it, and the background was something i’d been wanting to use for months, I talked about it with sanju and told her it looks like faces and i wanna use it for something + i really put thought into it + i posted it on a 28? how iconic of me truly

6. have you ever made a playlist about something you were writing as an elaborate means to procrastinate when you could have been actually writing and if yes drop a link, son

So im the worlds biggest idiot and i for some reason thought it was reasonable to write a musical???? even though i havent the slightest idea how to do that and i fucking HATE theatre people. (jk jk all my friends are theatre kids theyre annoying but i love them) Ive been working on it a year and im still nowhere close to done bc i keep rewriting shit. it’s using mika’s music bc im predictable but i have a playlist of the songs i have in it, all of which have big choreographed numbers that rn exist mostly in my head. here it is lol.

i also do them for fics i write lol ive one for the rilaya one im putting off writing right now that i literally just made.

7. tell us about one of your characters who’s an absolute joy to write

Lord. So getting back into my musical (because ill talk about it to anyone who’ll listen or anyone who wont) I’m fucking in love with my baby boy Santiago. He is the only cishet man I have ever liked ever. Hes a Taurus, he loves kids, and he’s just absolutely stupid as shit, a fucking idiot. He’s a dancer!! he does ballet w my other character Brie and helps her w her girl problems bc shes got lots of them ALSO he doesn’t speak Spanish but that doesn’t keep my character Maya from ranting to him in Spanish all the time and he wants to be supportive but hes like i dont know what ur saying! god i could talk about him for hours.

Gay. Lmao but really I write a lot of people who are really bad at dealing with their own emotions & push them deep deep down, which is like super obvious self projection but i find myself doing it every time.have you identified any recurring elements or themes across your writing?

God am I bad at titles. I’ve been told on multiple occasions “oh that was good but why did you call it that lol.” I usually pick a title at the end?? except w fanfic cuz i always start publishing it way before im done bc i need instant validation.
