A common theme of my artwork that is not a surprise to anyone is bugs! I've split up these sketches, pieced together from different sketchbooks into 2 - 3 seperate posts! I hope you like these little guys!

You poled a barge up and down the Frogeye River, a broad and lazy flow that connected the Lower Ashfen and Port Whistler where the river met the sea. Your path was slow, but guaranteed reliable, as the occasional hill ghost wouldn't cross running water and therefore couldn't harass you the way they would sometimes pester caravans that strayed from the most traveled roadways.

Faust the Hornet

A short summary of her story: “Faust was raised as an heir to the hive, however her disinterest in spawning a new generation of bees was disliked by the majority of the workers resulting in her sister taking up the role instead. As is tradition the other heirs would be sacrificed to the new queen but Faust proved slippery and managed to escape the assassination. Now a fugitive in disguise as an ant, Faust has to find a new family while trying not to get killed by the old one.”

This is getting quite old now! It's still one of my favourites, I remember how much persistence it took to fill in each segment of wing. :'D This depicts a very old character or mine, a dragonfly called Marigold! Maybe I'll dust her off soon and give her a new, updated look.

The Beacon (2018 - 2019)

I made this while I was supposed to be doing uni work! Procrastination is one hell of a motivator! This depicts a wasp character of mine! (I actually don't remember her name!) She's a fugitive from the queens consort!

Bug Collection Three

Round three of insect designs I've pulled from various sketchbooks! The first two were generated from a Dungeons & Dragons class + subclass randomizer. It's a lot of fun and I definitely recommend it! Note that the first two were post playing Hollow Knight so heavy inspiration from that!

Star Chaser (2018)

I wanted to attempt to paint glass bottles! It's easier said than done. :') Here's a little cricket who has found itself a fun hobby of catching shooting stars.

You, @ofstarstuff, kept an apothecary's shop in the town of Rivermeet, where the Turtleback river flowed into the Frogeye on the way to the sea. Mostly you treated minor ailments and ensured the town's midwives were well-stocked in what they needed, and you looked after the pets of the town, well acquainted through the books you owned with what would be dangerous to to which species of creature. Some held that you trafficked with the Ashfen witches, but none deemed it worth the trouble of causing a fuss, not when you could keep a prize sheep or beloved pet alive as easily as you could break a child's fever.
