MORE HSR STAR WARS AU!! This time, I’m going into detail about the Astral Express specifically and each members backstory, role kinda.

Pom-Pom : an R2 unit who was repaired by Himeko after she found them being sold around in vagrant circles. They are now completely in tune with the Astral Express’s mainframe and system.

Himeko : She bought the “Astral Express” ship years ago from an auction and fixed it up. Initially an adventurer of the stars now one of the leaders of the Nameless Rebellion.

Welt : a Jedi Knight from before the IPC Empire wiped them out. He managed to stay hidden for years until Himeko found him and asked him to join the Rebellion. He now has two padawans — Dan Heng and Stelle — under his instruction.

March 7th : Similar to her canon story, Welt and Himeko found her floating around in a block of ice in deep space. She had a choice to join the Nameless Rebellion and became a gunner and archer for the Astral Express.

Dan Heng : Here, Dan Feng was Dan Heng’s relative (either his father or grandfather smth like that), a Jedi who turned to the dark side in hopes to manipulate the forces of life and death to bring back his friend from the dead. He and his bloodline were exiled from the Xianzhou entirely and Dan Heng decided to make his choice and join the Rebellion.

Stelle and Caelus : Yes they’re both here and they’re twins! They were orphaned very young and lived in an orphanage for a long time until they were old enough. By the time they were young adults, the IPC Empire ran rampant throughout the galaxy and they both made a choice to fight against the Empire by joining the Rebellion. (They were initially asked by Kafka to join the Stellaron Hunters but they weren’t interested.)

Stelle made the choice to become a Jedi Knight and while Caelus was offered the same, he refused and choose to become an intelligence officer and fighter pilot

Hsr Infection AU….(Prologue)

In an alternate universe where the hsr cast is infected with an unknown disease.....

Stage 1–You wouldn’t even know that you’re infected as there aren’t any major symptoms. Patients will often report trouble breathing when lying down or sudden rashes in random spots

Stage 2–It’ll be more obvious that you’re infected. Trouble sleeping, random panic attacks, and hearing voices are all common reports from patients.

Stage 3–During the third stage, patients will start seeing things that aren’t there. They will have trouble walking, and will often just lay there. If you look closer, you’ll see that it looks like veins are emerging from the persons face.

Stage 4–The final stage. Bones will begin emerging from within the skin, usually from the joints, although it seems not to hurt the patients. They will begin to act in a hysterical manner; clawing at the protective glass and trying to attack their caregivers.

The list of patients on the first stage were just mundane researchers for the Herta Space Station. None of them seemed to even get past the first stage before succumbing to The Infection. Even though the Stage One symptoms seemed minor, to the patients, it felt like their flesh was being ripped clean off of their skeleton. The only other patient that seems to be on Stage One besides the researchers is Dan Heng, who had been, not necessarily complaining, but hinting about itchiness and small rashes appearing in different places each day. You were one of the few who were immune to The Infection, opting to become a doctor and help the people contained within the facility that Herta and Asta had built. One of your first few patients wasn't Dan Heng, but a patient that was already on Stage Two; Stelle. While Caelus was immune, Stelle didn't get so lucky. Even when under observation, Stelle never seemed to stop making jokes and trying to make you laugh. It's best not to give into it as The Infection can seemingly do things to a patients mind, sometimes altering their brain completely. Looking at Stelle in her "confinement" left you wondering if that was truly the case after all. Could anyone be as happy as she looked under these conditions?

You decided to start asking her questions instead of just staring at her quietly. You quickly noticed that something was wrong. The more questions you'd ask, the less she'd speak, until she stopped talking at all. When you asked the final question, she just stared behind you with wide eyes, looking to the left and right frantically. After that, you knew it was time to leave. The next patient you had was a Stage Three patients named March 7th. When walking to her cell, you witness one of the medics trying to bandage up a Stage Three patient who got himself hurt in his own cell. You go over to her, only to find that the patient is now bleeding a black, tar-like substance from his still open wound. The woman sighs heavily before introducing herself as Natasha. She tells you that she's a doctor from Belobog. She immediately finishes bandaging the poor man up, propping him up on his two feet while placing his left arm around her nape, shifting away slightly as to ensure that she isn't bitten or scratched. She glances at you quickly before pulling the young man away towards the more secure cells on the second floor. You went back to your original plan of going to March 7th’s compartment. Heading towards the end of the hall, you find that it’s eerily quiet. There’s almost no sound except for the heavy breaths coming from certain cubicles. When you find March’s cell, you find that it isn’t locked like the rest of the cells are supposed to be, making you worried at first until you open the door. You find that she’s just sitting in the corner behind the protective glass, just as she’s supposed to. You walk in and begin asking her questions, just as you did with Stelle, but instead of receiving real answers, you get mumbles that sound like pleas of help. Stage Three patients are often hard to talk to as they don’t normally talk, and if they do, it sounds like a cry for help, further proof that they’re still human even after being infected.

Yippee!! This is just a prologue, sooo say what you want or expect in the next one and i’ll see what I can do :D!!

Like that story was just so tragic from every angle we got of it. “All I’m saying is Don Quixote was not that great of a book.” You shrugged, perusing one of Dan Heng's many bookshelves.

“And I’m saying you’re absolutely wrong.” He shook his head. “Don Quixote is a charming novel I found on Terra. It was funny and thought provoking at the same time.”

"I never thought I'd live to see the day you call a novel funny, especially one from Terra." You shake your head with a teasing smile.

He shot you a glare. "Forgive me for not being textbooks and calculations all the time."

You held your hands up in mock surrender. "I never said that! But I’m sorry. I just found Don Quixote boring.”

Dan Heng scoffed. “Let me guess. You liked those Jane Austen and Brontë novels instead, didn’t you?”

You looked over at him, horrified. “Oh hell no! Wuthering Heights was worse than Don Quixote by a long shot! Heathcliff was the absolute worst!”

He smirked and shook his head. “You’re correct in that observation. I never understood how writers from that age thought those stories were romantic. Are there any classical novels from Terra you do like?”

You paused to think. “Good question. Well, I think the Count of Monte Cristo was really good, one of my favorites actually. A Tale of Two Cities is also pretty good. And I did enjoy reading Anna Karenina and War and Peace.”

One of his eyebrows perked up. “You read War and Peace?”

“More like I skimmed through it.” You mumbled, letting out an awkward giggle. 

Dan Heng shook his head again. “You should read it some time. I think you might enjoy it after you get past all the fluffy 19th century language.”

“I’ll be sure to look into it if I can find it. You never clean up around here. It makes it hard to find anything in this place.”

“Everything has a place and everything is in its place.” He reminded you, his voice sharp.

You rolled your eyes, before muttering under your breath. “Yeah well it seems the place for everything is all over the floor.”

“I heard that!”

All you could do was laugh and hope he didn’t kill you. However, after digging through the shelves some more, you were surprised when he handed you a large book with the words War and Peace printed on the front. You took it, surprised that it felt lightweight despite how big it was.

“Found it.”

“So you did.”

As Dan Heng went back to looking for a new book to read, which was easier said than done, he asked, “So, what’s the oldest book you’ve read?”

“Hmm, probably the Epic of Gilgamesh.”

He nodded. “Not a bad little epic. But I’ve read books older than that.”

You rolled your eyes again. “Of course you have. It's your thing. You love reading books from way back when and from all over the universe. You can probably read every language in the universe and understand it. Even dead languages!”

“Well, I could teach you some if you’d like.” He shrugged.

You perked up. “Please? There are so many cool languages I’d love to learn and use to both impress and scare people with.”

He laughed. “Alright. Pick a language and we’ll start learning when we both have time.”

Nodding, you added smoothly. “You better be prepared for all the love notes in multiple languages I’m going to send you when we're traveling through planets.”

He sighed. "I don't doubt it."

All of the Astral express crew members with chaotic child! reader

like imagine all of them having fun on some planet, looking at all the sights but then child reader sees something that piques their interest and lets go of whoever's hand they're holding onto and POOF they're gone.

and then the crew panics and chaos ensues :3

Vacation on Jarilo-VI

note: imagined an actual child!reader. ive never written or read something like this so this was a fun experiment! the ask is really fun to imagine though, i hope i did it justice!!

The Astral Express Crew are visiting Belobog after helping the stellaron crisis but this time, it's purely for a vacation. you weren't allowed to go last time and it really bummed you out so you're real excited about going!!

first stop is visiting Bronya and Seele in the Supreme Guardian's office. March and MC happily run up to greet the two and Dan Heng is introducing them to Welt and Himeko. their eyes are off you for a second and suddenly, Seele spots you trying to climb the ceiling high bookshelves! you're not too far up but enough that no one can grab you down. Welt is trying to convince you to go down, using his powers to slow you in case you fall. Himeko is yelling for you to be careful while apologizing profusely to Bronya and Seele. Dan Heng and MC are at the bottom of the shelf, arms out in an attempt to catch you in case you fall. thankfully, you get down fine. but Welt is grounding you, literally. you're banned from climbing on things for the rest of the trip.

the second stop is Serval's workshop. Himeko is talking to Serval about the machines and all that while March is showing Welt how the little connector puzzle works. you were listening to March before some of the tools caught your eye. suddenly, you're in the back of Serval's workshop playing with Serval's scrap pieces. MC is the first to notice you're gone, alerting Dan Heng and Welt. there's a sort of assumption you've gone far, so que a panicked Welt slamming the door of the workshop open trying to find you. you couldn't have gone far... or maybe you could? Welt's not sure how much to overestimate or underestimate your ability to go missing. 10 minutes later and Himeko finds you happily playing with bits and pieces of metal scraps and a pair of pliers in the back of the workshop.

the third stop is Boulder Town and god, the entire crew is swearing they're going to keep a close eye on you. Dan Heng stops you from climbing in the cart full of geomarrow and Welt is holding your hand almost all the time (although he doesn't notice that you pulled away a couple times, he's a little too focused hearing an explanation of geomarrows from some miners). but then you meet the moles. and you and Hook get along great! and now you want to play with the moles. and Hook is incredible at swaying people into things. you are now free to play with the moles!

Hook really did mean it when she promised that she'd keep an eye on you and that the moles wouldn't leave Boulder Town. she really did mean it! but you were practically begging Hook to take you to Rivet Town as she retold her adventures with MC to fetch Junjun. you only meant to take a peak, a quick one. but then a peak turned into showing you the street of the restaurant where Natasha took kids who were good, and then it turned to a few streets more, until it was a whole town tour. Hook couldn't help herself, you seemed so interested in her stories about the town!

back in Boulder Town, the Astral Express Crew is ready to move onto the last stop and theyre looking for you. March asks Julian who's hesitant to say but eventually fesses that Hook took you to take a peak of Rivet Town. the original Jarilo-IV Trailblaze Team is worried and there's a bit of initial confusion, Himeko and Welt thinking Hook simply took you to the next town over. and Dan Heng has to explain that Rivet Town is infested with fragmentum monsters. poor Julian is bombarded with question like whether or not you and Hook went alone, how long you've been gone, etc...

they do find you and Hook, eventually. it was about an hour long search. it just happened that you and Hook got tired and decided to rest in one spot for a while, who knows how long it’d take the crew to find you guys had you not stop exploring.

the fourth and final destination is the Robot Settlement! the entire crew understands that a LOT can go wrong at the settlement; so many crevices and corners you could run to, robots who may not recognize you aren't a threat or are malfunctioning. Dan Heng explained the crew's concerns to Svarog and Clara who quickly come up with a solution: Svarog isn't letting you out of his sight!

while Clara gives the crew a tour of the Robot Settlement, Svarog accompanied to watch you. he catches you nearly running away to get a closer look at a robot twice, four times for something shiny in the stone walls, and once for something on the ground. he couldnt quite figure out what made that part of the snow covered ground was so much more special than the rest for you, and neither could you, which is why it was so interesting.

Svarog is pretty reliable most the time, he practically raised Clara so everyone trusted him with you. maybe Clara was a lot more mellow as a child compared to you but this 'take care of a child' task difficulty increased by tenfold when it came to you. how Svarog managed to lose you is unknown; all he knew was one moment you were crawling all over him, asking him questions, then telling him you wanted to walk, and the next, you were gone.

if they were panicking before, they were having a full on break down now. Svarog lost you and now couldn't find you within his field of vision! with how reliable Svarog was made to sound, they feared the worst. maybe you fell down the cliff, what if a robot malfunctioned and fought you? Svarog tried calculating how far you could've gotten and how likely it was for you to be found but no one could quite decide on when they last saw you.

a wave of relief washes over them when they find you asking a robot questions. honestly, the entire crew feared you'd died or something, though no one wanted to say it. unaware of this feeling, you're caught off guard as March, Himeko, then the rest of the astral express crew rushed over to give you a tight hug. Himeko scolded you a bit for making the crew worry but she was more happy you were fine than anything.

the crew may find it stress inducing and troublesome when you disappear, but they wouldn't trade you for anything in the world!

okay, I thought about the hsr Star Wars au more and I thought of each faction and their role.

The Astral Express is a faction that leads the rebel alliance against the IPC Empire. I can imagine Welt as a Jedi, not Himeko persay but she could be a mechanic and a fighter pilot. Dan Heng and TB could be Welt’s padawans and March is a gunner, archer and sniper.

The IPC is very straightforward. They’re the Empire and they’re true to their in-game style but like. They follow the Empire’s playbook and have an iron fist rule over the galaxy.

The Stellaron Hunters are a group of deadly bounty hunters, guided by Elio. They don’t align themselves with anybody but whatever serves their best interests. So very similar to canon The Galaxy Rangers are the same, bounty hunters who get the job done if rewarded well.

The Family used to be a rather well-known influence during the Galactic Republic era and many Jedi used to be Family members too but as the IPC Empire overturned the Republic, Jedi Family members were hunted and killed, while the rest of the Family were torn to pieces, dispersed throughout the galaxy or forced to serve the Empire.

The Xianzhou Alliance is the only other largest faction in the galaxy besides the IPC Empire. Politically and officially, the Xianzhou Alliance are on neutral ground with the IPC Empire but some generals like Jing Yuan and Feixiao do provide support to the rebel allies covertly so to cause too much diplomatic interference between them.

The Genius Society are allowed to operate outside of IPC’s rule but even they have to be careful to not cross the Empire.

The Intelligentsia Guild operate under the IPC Empire and provide them with research and development.

Any other factions such as the Masked Fools or the Garden of Recollection stay hidden from the public or have joined the Rebel Alliance to fight back against the IPC Empire.

These are my thoughts so far obviously I have more but. this is all for now.
