Love the dadow headcannon but let me take it one step further, Metal Sonic and Omega are Silver's uncles.

Shadow, Omega and Metal are the only character's I can see living long enough to see Silvers time.

Metal lost his purpose after Eggman and Sonic died. He focused on the one objective in his program that he could do, surpass Sonic.

He tried to become a better hero then Sonic and mimicked him in everyway. However, as time has gone on, his memory has corrupted and faded, causing him to somewhat form his own personality (but still with bits of Sonic in there)

He, Shadow and Omega have crossed paths with each other enough to be somewhat friendly with each other. Shadow is also just happy to see Metal become his own person.

One day, Shadow finds baby Silver in a bin and is like 'this is mine now'. He enlists the help of the two war machines to raise Silver into the time traveller they would meet in the past.

Metal would love Silver. Sonic raised Tail (as brothers but still) so he's gotta have some sort of kindness/nurturing instinct. Also Metal spends a lot of his time fighting off bad guys and never has the opportunity to make meaningful connections with people. The closest person he had was Shadow. So he's very happy to have the little physic pot head baby in his life.

No one knows what they're doing and none of them should be raising a child.

In any X-men omegaverse au Charles obviously is going to have a mating bite courtesy of Magneto.

Except I lean towards the worldbuilding where mating bites and bonds will wear off in time if they're not actively maintained.

But Charles still spends more time with a mating bite/bond than not because every time it's nearly been long enough or has just been long enough for it to wear off he and Magneto end up working together for one reason or another and by the end of it Charles has a fresh bite and renewed bond.

The timing is actually coincidental (and more a testiment to how often they end up working together) but is still very much the elephant in the room when Magneto inevitably leaves again and they return to being advesaries.

Shadow's old person trait-that is, being from the 50's-is that he prefers physical media. And since he distrusts the government about as much as his teammates, his DVD collection is, of course, pirated.

Rouge introduced him to the practice and it's one of the calmer activities he and Omega like doing together.

As far as a story goes for Archie it taps into my head canon that he was mentored by Mr. Briney when he was younger and in this au followed more in his footsteps and became a sailor, and eventually captain, instead of a pirate.

Idk why Maxie’s a cowboy other then if Archie’s a pirate in canon then Maxie is a cowboy in this swap scenario

If these were Sygna suits Maxie would have a mudsdale and Archie would have a pelipper
