I cracked the code for day dreaming before bed. I imagine my WIPs in modern day, drama free, coffee shop or whatever AUs, and I'm good
#If I think of something cool them I'm not allowed to think about it in detail#Otherwise I lose the desire to write it at all and/or forget details#the further I go into the plot#But I use day dreaming and/or brain storming about my stories to sleep right?#So if I think of a scenario I never actually want to write about but which still entertains me then I'm good#The Unrequited Dead? AU with no zombies and thus no apocalypse and no odd isekai situation#I can think about these characters being happy#Go through all of the what-ifs and what-nots#without feeling obligated to record any of it#Though sometimes I get too entertained and it keeps me up#I'm just weird okay?#Sometimes I miss the days when I could just think of a plot and be okay with letting it drift away forever#But then I never did quite so much writing#Anyways#in The Unrequited Dead and it's 2nd part#The lead talks to their partner about what it would have been like#meeting outside of their honestly rather unfortunate circumstance#And I take that and run with it#tossing in parallels to the “canon” story for a laugh#Ex: Robin still knows about zombies somehow but literally no one else has heard of the concept#which still blows my mind
