Dogblr question: what drew you to the breed(s) you have? Are there other breeds that would fit just as well? Are there breeds that are everything you DON'T want in a dog?
#I grew up with pitties so i have a soft spot for them#idk if i would want one but#i do love rotties#im inclined to medium to large dogs#the great dane used to be my favorite breed#and i know better then to get a corgi but i love them too#I think they have terrible attitudes but you know small dogs#i would never want a Chihuahua or a shi tzu or anything that small#but i could do a rescue

so i wore a pride flag pin to work the other day and the kids were all interested (obviously) (find me a classroom of preschoolers who are not obsessed with rainbows) (i'll wait) so they crowded around to see.
"aww!" they said, "it's a flag!!"
but the thing is: they're little. a lot of them don't really have a handle on all their mouth sounds yet.

I had the thought of owning not just one but several pairs of glasses and my mind went to the same place it does when I think about having the time to wake up, eat cinnamon chip muffins with coffee, and relax for a while.
