So I’m a barista for a small coffee shop and so I have my regulars. It feels a bit more casual than name brand coffee shops though. Anyway.

I started trying some of my regulars drinks out of curiosity bc some of them sound good or just interesting! But I don’t like coffee, so I stick to Chai, Frappes (sometimes), and our redbull mixers. Basically redbull and flavoring.

This one woman gets blue raspberry and white chocolate in her redbull (???) and I was flabbergasted and curious.

It’s a very pretty color, a creamy teal and it looks delightful each time I make it. It foams up a little though and I have to scoop it out.

Tell me why this drink tastes like straight up alcohol?? And she adds almond flavoring too which I omitted because it smells like rubbing alcohol met medicine. But like!! I took a sip and felt like I was drinking a cocktail!

But I kinda liked it too? And I’m super picky with flavors. Wild.

can't tell if the news about my dad not getting better and will likely not make it through the rest of the year is making me numb because i've been living in this state of him slowing dying for well over half of my life or because the prozac is finally kicking in. but it's made for some really uncomfortable "have you cried yet" conversations with a few of my family members. just a friendly fucking reminder to not fucking say that to people holy shit.
