Charcoal was tired. But hadn’t he always been?

Though, despite the exhaustion fogging the corners of his brain, he was still fairly certain that this was not his bedroom. Nor one of his friends.

In fact, the past few days had been somewhat blurry- as was most of his life, considering his eyesight. Too blurry for him to really recall what had brought him here. Had the base been compromised? No, he'd likely be tied up right now, wouldn't he? He knew the Comets well enough by now to know they weren't stupid. They wouldn't leave a prisoner unbound.

So, where was he? Had they decided to stay in a random au the previous night? With how random Sketch's decisions could be sometimes, he wouldn't put it past the immortal.

But then he hears voices. Familiar ones. His heartrate picks up as his gut sinks- had his first guess been correct? The conversation passing his door pauses, before a knocking is set upon the door.

"..Blue, are you awake?"

that. That's-

"..Lunaris..?"

He had to be hallucinating again. Theres no way-

"..Yes. How did you rest? Am I permitted to enter? ..I can.. sense your negativity."

"..How did I even get here..?"

"You don't.." There's an uncomfortable pause, too much left unsaid hanging in the air. "..Perhaps some breakfast will help your memory. There should be a change of clothes on the desk in there.”

Uhh this writing wip was brought to you by me being incredibly autistic and making an entire alternate multiverse based on different au sanses and then getting obsessed over it-

Name references:

Sketch -> Ink

Lunaris -> Nightmare

Charcoal/Blue -> Technically Swap

The Comets -> Nightmares gang / The Bad Sanses(had to change mostly because they aren't even really called Sans anymore)

Note: Everyone in Charcoalverse is based off of sanses, but they Arent directly their original counterparts- ex; Sketch has more manipulative tendencies and better memory than og Ink! (also Lunaris is very Dadmare)
