The story also slaps#There's six different versions of Hal and like half of them are hostile#hostile as in 'killing dirk' hostile#And the remaining two are using him as a means to an end#literally in this case#The jackal!Hal is complicated though. He WOULD eat dirk if dirk let him. But he also adores dirk#its complicated#i love the story soooo much though its such a mess#the ending is super great but also just bittersweet sad
