WTF again with Reptile lore
A lot of things happened with the BL gang that I'm going to comment later but...
I didn't caught it in the earlier SS run, but there are holy weapons (silver ones) who restore hp and are tied to crests belonging to the Elites...
With the upcoming DLC and new relics being teased it makes the red canyon event more mysterious than the "10 dudes came in, slaughtered dragons and partied with Nemesis until Seiros wrecked their shit with that Wilhelm nerd who wasn't part of the 10 dudes"
About the sword of Moralta (and the axe of ukonvasara) :
They're silver holy weapons, like the Saint's relics, they glow blue and restore hp.
I suppose they're the same kind of weapon, made by dragons. So at some point, Moralta (a nabatean blacksmith?) made a weapon tied to the nabatean who would later be turned into the fraldarius crest, or Moralta was the dragon turned into the fraldarius crest.
Or, Moralta, the Nabatean, blood bonded with Fraldarius for some reason, gave him a sword as a token of friendship or something like that, but when Fraldarius returned to meet his pal Moralta he turned his shoulder blade in a shiny shield.
This last theory is contradicted in canon, when Rhea says that the crests weren't given by the goddess or her children to humans (but then, the Saint's crests were).
If we follow the Saint's weapons pattern then the Silver holy weapons are most likely the weapons who belonged to the original Nabatean.
So it's extra... Disturbing to see Felix fighting with the remains of said Nabatean on his back but with its weapon in hand.
But who was Moralta? The blacksmith or the nabatean using the sword? Seteth's Lance isn't called like this, but we have the sword/shield of Seiros. Unless Rhea’s a secret blacksmith or the weapons are named for their wielders. But going here means that Seteth is using Assal's weapon, most likely because Assal is dead - but then this lance is tied to his own blood...
So either Seteth/Cichol is actually named Assal, either I'm thinking too much about it or Rhea named her weapons after herself in her quest to destroy Nemesis.
And uncle Turtle is such a troll that he names his weapon the Inexhaustible when it has limited uses
I suddenly remember that Birdie gives us the sword of Begalta - Moralta and Begalta were the twin blacksmiths of Zanado??
Fig it, I'm out
Oh well, I'm sure everything will be revealed in the Jeritza DLC or in Anna's paralogue

[More personal HC’s of mine for Dimitri, under the cut]
[So regarding Areadbhar... Personally I am going with the assumption that the crest stone in it works much like the Sword of the Creator, and still houses the heart/soul of one of the Nabateans. (Just will be called Areadbhar for simplicity’s sake.)
Dimitri, with some assistance and some meditation, can speak with her. Most times it’s looking for some guidance, or answers to the past. (personal gripe of mine with the story of AM and the many sidetracked plot points)
The OG Blaiddyd was in something of a secret relationship (courting, not boinking) with said nabatean, and was given her blood willingly, which blessed him with the strength of a dragon. Some time later when they were hunted down, Blaiddyd was forced to take a second dose to be bestowed with the Sign of the Grim Dragon.
Areadbhar, however, does not bear a grudge against Dimitri, nor his ancestors since he was practically forced to do so or suffer the consequences. She acts more like a loving grandmother of sorts to him, even remaking how the Blaiddyd line looks so much like him after so many generations. She’s able to recount her side of what happened, bits and pieces of her other wielders etc.
After coming to the realization that Areadbhar has been a (sort of) sentient/living being of sorts, he finds Gradivus, his father’s lance, and uses it instead, letting Areadbhar finally rest in peace.]
[Clothing choices... Dimitri just generally dislikes button up shirts, they’re delicate and he’s shredded a few dress shirts by fastening a button in the wrong hole. So if possible, he wears pullover, peasant styled shirts. Otherwise it’s Dedue to the rescue.
I see him as a naturally warm person, or in better terms, a human furnace. So Garreg Mach is sweltering in comparison to Faerghus, Bed time, he’s sleeping sans shirt. Sometimes down to his breeches if it’s the middle of summer.]
[Dimitri getting into embroidery as a means to vent/channel his MI into something productive (other than training and busting all the dummies) is something I can get behind. Just something he can keep his hands busy while he sorts through his thoughts. Same goes for his cheesemaking hobby.]
[He’s got a hard time saying no to people that are in need of help. Farmer’s team of oxen are down? He’ll be happy to pull the plow to get the fields turned over. Blacksmith needs an extra hand working the hammers? You can be sure it’s Dimitri that’s got the stamina to keep up. The town needs building supplies delievered? He’s on it.
Very reliable and beloved by his people being he puts himself as just an ordinary human, after all, he hates that high pedestal they once put him on.]
