In the end it was Pablo Hernandez, Patrick Bamford and Jack Harrison who scored in a win with two goals. Andreas Weimann got one back for Bristol with the game gone, but Leeds could have won with more.

Not too long to double their lead. Barry Douglas crossed the box and reached Hernandez. He danced for his husband before cutting it to the next post, where Patrick Bamford went in the back.

Shortly thereafter, Forshaw should have done better with a chance from the edge of the box, again missing the target.

with 20 minutes left, Leeds broke again. Dallas rushed to the right and fed Mateusz Klich. His effort was deflected on the path of Harrison, who only had to hit the ball into an empty net.

Given his collapse against Derby at the end of last season, there was a tension over Leeds when Weimann invaded the box and knocked the ball past Casilla.

Yet there is a reason why those fans sang about going after the third goal from Leeds. There is still a long way to go, but Bielsa is already giving them a reason to believe.

Not the Bambi You Remember….

New dioramas bring the action to the Wild Alberta Gallery

Many Albertans see white-tailed deer wandering through fields and forests. But how many people can say they’ve seen two aggressive male deer in the throes of an antler-clashing fight for a female’s affection?

You can, if you stop by our Wild Alberta Gallery in the new Natural History Hall when we open later this year!

A moment of inspiration in the field

Bill Wiemann, Assistant Curator of Mammalogy, was out doing fieldwork one chilly November day several years ago when he came upon a unique sight: torn up earth, skidding hoof prints, tufts of hair, blood. The unmistakeable scene of a fight for dominance from two bucks in the midst of rutting season.

That moment gave Bill a spark of inspiration that blossomed into a dynamic diorama that will be featured in the new Royal Alberta Museum’s Natural History Hall. The diorama depicts two male deer charging full-force toward each other, mere seconds away from another collision.

This is one of nine new dioramas built for the museum’s new Wild Alberta Gallery. RAM Curators researched, wrote and designed the stories for each of the new dioramas to illustrate how various species survive in Alberta’s diverse landscape. Much like Bill’s moment of inspiration, many of our curators craft the stories that become dioramas based on the research and fieldwork they do every day. Each of these nine dioramas have something else in common: they all show wildlife in action.

Action in dioramas

Usually, dioramas show animals standing stoically in their habitat behind glass. But our new dioramas? You’ll swear you’ve stumbled into a snapshot in time. From two pronghorns running under a fence, to a lynx within a split second of catching a snowshoe hare, to the two white-tailed deer battling and more. You’ll feel like they’re about to jump right off their plinths! Oh, that’s another thing: these dioramas are all open, not encased in glass. Visitors can almost touch the specimens — of course, we ask that you don’t!

To build the nine new Natural History dioramas, RAM staff are working alongside renowned diorama designers Terry Chase from Chase Studios and Tim Quady of Blue Rhino Studios. Of course, we could never say goodbye to our timeless dioramas from Glenora. Eight of the dioramas from Glenora will be on display at the new museum: grizzly bear, bighorn sheep, golden eagle, moose, beaver, coyote, ruffed grouse and caribou. RAM Conservation staff continue to care for the remaining Glenora dioramas as they live on as part of our museum collection.

Edith Ritchie và Evelyn Middleton là cặp chị em song sinh sống thọ nhất thế giới. Họ sinh vào ngày 15 tháng 11 năm 1909 tại Scotland.Năm 2011, hai cụ đã trải qua sinh nhật 102 tuổi, và được tổ chức Guinness công nhận là cặp song sinh sống lâu nhất thế giới.

Billy Leon McCrary và Benny Loyd McCrary ở Hendersonville, bắc Carolina là cặp song sinh nặng nhất thế giới, đã được ghi vào kỷ lục Guinness, cân nặng của họ lần lượt là 328 kg và 338 kg.Cặp song sinh này lấy nghệ danh là McCrary trong một lần tham gia đô vật tại một kì lễ hội và rất được mọi người yêu mến. Bristol City 1-1 Aston Villa: Steve Bruce's side fight back to earn point

Aston Villa fought back to earn a point at Bristol City but Steve Bruce’s side have now won only one of their past eight Championship games.

Villa boss Bruce came under fire from a section of home supporters following a home defeat by Sheffield Wednesday in their previous outing, and further shouts calling for his dismissal could be heard in the closing seconds at Ashton Gate.

Josh Brownhill’s low 25-yard shot wrong-footed Villa goalkeeper Orjan Nyland to put Bristol City in front, but Villa drew level just before the interval.

Conor Hourihane’s set-piece was powerfully headed home by Iceland midfielder Birkir Bjarnason as Villa kept up their record of scoring in every league match so far this season.

Villa’s ex-Bristol City striker Tammy Abraham almost scored at the wrong end late on, inadvertently heading towards his own goal and then watching the ball cleared off his own line.

After a disjointed first half, Villa were far better after the interval and looked most likely to find a winning goal.

Midfielder John McGinn, who scored an incredible long-range volley in the loss to the Owls six days previously, went closest but Niki Maenpaa kept out his shot from 20 yards.

The draw ensured City avoided a third consecutive league loss and leaves them one point outside the play-off places.

Serangan Macet, Liverpool Harus Tersingkir dari Wolverhampton di Piala FA

Liverpool (SIB) -Harapan Liverpool untuk terus melaju di Piala FA akhirnya pupus. Tim asuhan Klopp tersebut di luar prediksi harus tersingkir di babak keempat Piala FA justru setelah kalah dari tim divisi Championship, Wolverhampton Wanderers dengan skor 1-2 di Stadion Anfield, Sabtu (28/1). Bagi Liverpool, kekalahan tersebut terasa sangat menyakitkan. Apalagi tersingkirnya mereka selang beberapa hari setelah gagal melaju ke final Piala Liga usai kalah dari Southampton. Dalam laga itu, Liverpool memang seperti tanpa tenaga. Motivasi untuk menang sepertinya luntur, karena mereka terus dilanda kekalahan selama Januari. Situasi tersebut membuat tim lawan memanfaatkannya dengan baik untuk mengambil kemenangan. Liverpool seperti frustasi untuk membobol gawang lawan. Babak pertama dilalui tanpa ada serangan berbahaya. Hal berbeda memang terjadi di babak kedua pasca beberapa pergantian dilakukan Klopp. Namun dua gol tertinggal di babak pertama terasa cukup berat untuk dikejar, sehingga Liverpool tak punya banyak waktu mengejarnya. Sebaliknya, Wolverhampton Wanderers yang bermain tanpa beban justru secara mengejutkan sudah unggul di menit pertama.
