Introduction

The BBMP has resumed its long-delayed project to widen the Kothanur-Avalahalli and Kalkere roads, aimed at improving traffic flow in the northeastern part of Bengaluru. With road stretches passing through key areas like Byrathi, Bidarahalli, and Kalkere, this project promises to ease vehicle movement and reduce congestion in areas such as KR Puram and Hoskote.

Project Overview

The widening project between Kothanur and Avalahalli spans a 10.5-kilometer stretch, with 4 kilometers under BBMP jurisdiction and the rest under local gram panchayats. The plan includes widening the existing road to 80 feet, improving connectivity for commuters.

Similarly, the Kalkere road widening, connecting Kithaganur, Maragondanahalli, and Channasandra, will see an expansion to 45 meters, creating a crucial link to the Outer Ring Road (ORR). BBMP has already issued notifications for land acquisition to resume these projects.

Land Acquisition and TDR Issues

Landowners affected by the project are asked to submit their property documents within 30 days, with the option to receive compensation via Transferable Development Rights (TDR). This project has seen delays due to a scam involving TDR allocation, but BBMP has restarted the acquisition process to move forward with road expansion plans.

Impact on Bengaluru’s Traffic

Once completed, these widened roads will help alleviate the heavy traffic burden on KR Puram, Tin Factory, and other busy junctions in the region. Commuters can expect smoother rides and reduced traffic jams as BBMP continues to work on infrastructure development.

Apple A12 Bionic vs. A11 Bionic processor

Repairtech has defined may be this is perhaps the biggest difference between the two generations of iPhone, the new A12 processor developed by Apple replaces the A11 Bionic. It is manufactured in 7nm by TSMC, against 10 nm for the previous, which allows the brand to improve its performance / consumption performance.

Apple announces that this new SoC integrates a processor up to  15% better than the previous one, and a graphics chip 50% more powerful . The iPhone XS should also include more RAM, 4 GB in total, against 3 GB for the iPhone X, but it will be necessary to wait for the first tests to verify it (Apple never communicates on the RAM of its mobile devices) .

The Apple A12 Bionic also incorporates a new "Neural Engine" chip used for image or text recognition tasks, allowing the Core ML API to be up to 9x more efficient than the A11 Bionic chip .

Apple has also changed the 4G LTE modem of the iPhone, which now allows to achieve a rate of 1 Gbps with the aggregation of 4 frequency bands. 

New camera

On paper, the iPhone XS seems to take the same photo module as the iPhone X, with a main sensor 12 megapixel f / 1.8 and a secondary sensor 12 megapixel f / 2.4 in both cases. Apple still announces the use of a new generation of sensors, able to record more lights. Both sensors still benefit from optical stabilization.

Above all, the firm uses the new Apple A12 Bionic processor to do a better job of processing photos. For example, it becomes possible to adjust the opening of a photo in portrait mode (with the bokeh effect) after capture. Video recording is also evolving. The iPhone XS is capable of shooting in HDR up to 30 frames per second, while this mode was absent from the iPhone X. The sound is now recorded in stereo.

 Battery and recharging

The iPhone Xs is announced with an average autonomy of 30 minutes longer than the iPhone X. Conclusion

Ultimately, what wins an iPhone X user to change his Smartphone for an iPhone XS? According to Apple, he will have the right to refinements: a face a little faster ID, a NFC a little faster and improved wireless recharging.

The biggest change comes from the processor built into the smartphone, the Apple A12 Bionic seems on paper radically more powerful than the Apple A11 last year. The question is: what are the applications that bring an iPhone X to your knees today? Difficult to find, and difficult to justify a more powerful processor.
