Game Completed: Can Destroyed

Decker: The people of Kariya city called in TPU after the appearance of Spinnie from a crater, but none can catch the small creature. Murahoshi and Kaizaki are wondering what to do about the information Kanata learnt about the future while the younger members try to catch it, along with TPU troops. When Spinnie starts using flame attacks, the mission turns to elimination, but Kanata isn't able to act properly after what Asakage said about humans causing the Sphere attack on Bazdo. Spinnie has been consistently headed to an area of new glowing ore recently discovered. It evolves into Pandon there, and Hanejiro finally returns. Kanata finds the resolve to fight. They get back, only to learn internal affairs are launching an investigation into Murahoshi.

Geats: The Jamar Area expanded to contain where the can landed, and the Jamato swallowed it. Michinaga and Neon feel misled, but Ace knows the Jamato are always evolving. The Game Master tasks them with raising an egg into a Buckle that will help destroy the can. Ace is the first to locate the can, earning another Boost Buckle. Neon's hatches into Propeller, and Michinaga's into Drill, Ace advises them to leave things to him. After a reflection on all 3's goals, Buffa and Na-Go leap into the battle. Ace arrives, but his egg still won't hatch, until he's inspired by Michinaga's refusal to give up, and leaps on front of an attac with the egg, causing it to hatch as the Monster Buckle, which he uses the destroy the can. A watching Punkjack comments that the next DGP will be interesting, and we see his face. Ace sincerely thanks Michinaga for the inspiration before his elimination, and encourages Neon to keep pursuing her dream. Tsumuri is against fulfilling Ace's wish, but the Game Master approves it. As a new world is born, alone the Game Master removes his mask, Gigori wanting to see what Ace does with this world.

Donbrothers: Kijino stressing about everything snapped at everyone before leaving. Yuriko wants Inuzaka to be innocent because of how hot he is, he tells them where Natsumii is. Kijino gets arrested for hassling Natsumii, argues with Inuzaka in a cell (Inuzaka understands his feelings but wants him to face reality) and the police, having confirmed Natsumii's status, and being aware of the Juto now and their involvement in similar cases, want him to let them know if Natsumii turns out to be one. Sonoza finds a weakened Murasame and reseals him, Rumi comes to visit Jiro, finding him with a fever. Inuzaka and Natsumii talk, and he properly proposes, Sonoi and Sononi watch from a distance, Sononi aware the path he has chosen will lead to sorrow for him. A man who feels his youth wasted becomes ChojuuKi. After a happy dinner, Inuzaka, still wanting to know what brought on the change, brings Jin food. Jin's cell is in the gateway Juto used to come to the human realm, he was jailed there for the sin of raising Don Momotaro, this is the first Inuzaka has heard of this, they have to have found another way. Natsumi is gone when he gets back, leaving an origami crane. In the battle with the Hitotsu-ki, Taro demonstrates he can Avatar Change while Goldon Momotaro, retaining the armour as Toq1. Rumi stops Jiro from fighting. ChojuuKing is stopped by Goldon Onitaijin. Inuzaka finds Natsumii trying to eat an Anoni, only for Sayama to try and steal the meal. Natsumii flees when she sees Inuzaka, and he charges Sayama, swallowed along with the Anoni, finds himself in a forest, with Cat Juto rampaging and many people, including Natsumii and Sayama trapped in vines, he himself is trapped, and a Cat Juto takes his form, rampaging at the same restaurant Sayama did.

#42: Ressha Sentai ToQger

This was a really sweet addition to the Sentai pile. But it also had an odd feel to it. On the one hand, it was quite silly - but whenever it focused on the Emperor of Darkness and Right it became something else entirely because the Emperor's obsession with Right was very... not kid friendly, to be honest.

And it's what I loved best, the connection between Right and the Emperor, the way they were constantly drawn to each other, the way the Emperor could never bring himself to truly destroy Right, even in moments when he defeated Right, and the way that connection was slowly but surely destroying Right from the inside out, changing him; TOQ1's switch from Red to Black was a stunning twist, holy smokes!

It also lent itself to a huge amount of whump for Right. The last five or so episodes were pretty much Right whump pure which was very much up my alley. Even in the last fight, Right vs. the Emperor, in which the Emperor was finally defeated; when Right fainted after shouldering all of their powers and the Emperor turned into a cloud of darkness, the way they all threw themselves on Right to protect him, knowing that he couldn't withstand another dose of it... Gosh! The ToQgers' love for each other was just... mwah!

Also! It stars Shison Jun as Right and Yokohama Ryusei as Hikari which is yet another reason to watch it!

mio feels like she has to be a little 10 year old grownup who never does overly silly things so she like intentionally tries not to get too wild with her imagination... personally i would love to see her fursona if she ever released her limiters
