preamble

structured by name, picture, description, story/extra information, and standard location. you don't have to read anything just look at the pictures <3 piling them on one arm is just for the pic i don't actually wear them in that specific configuration

1. "rave bracelet"

made of somewhat malleable plastic, translucent in the middle with glitter that's slowly become more and more unevenly dispersed, outlined with pink on the edges.

i don't really know why i call it my rave bracelet, i'm not going to any raves, it might've said something on the packaging? it was 50 cents at the dollar store and my friend bought it for me on their birthday. i'm such a good friend. it featured in two of my high school art projects because it's such a powerful symbol of friendship. sometimes i'll squeeze it when i'm feeling anxious

2. mori from ouran high school host club

i had to google his name. i've never seen ohshc. purchased at hot topic in a pack with the other characters on a group mall outing, i was assigned this guy for lack of a more fitting character. i think it's pretty funny, maybe i should watch the show at some point? who knows, i'm pretty bad at watching long form media

made the same day as my corvo's slut bracelet. my best friend assembled this and a matching cinnamoroll one for herself. i'm going to be honest i like cinnamoroll more, but i have accepted pompompurin into my life.

also made by my best friend, but earlier. i don't really wear this one anymore because i had one in the same colour that said "vampir" (as in. the character from dick fight island. we read dick fight island and then she made bracelets for a couple of us with the names of the characters on them) but it broke </3 rip vampir i don't remember what you did at all besides being in the dick fight on the island

i've made like 14 of these things in different colours. i'm not sure on the exact number, but most of them were for my friends. we all get one in our own colour scheme :) of course, mine is black and red, because of the my chemical romance poisoning. this whole thing started when my mom gave me a big pack of thread intended for friendship bracelet making, and i said, ok sure why not. they're all size adjustable, so you don't need to tie anything.

6. green and purple hearts

second non-heart bracelet i made if my friendship-bracelets.net account is to be believed, made this one just cause i like how it looks. the edges curl up on themselves but it's fine if you just flatten them out.

standard location: i don't wear this one that much, but it sometimes appears on the left arm. sometimes on the right. just, somewhere in the middle, wherever i think it looks right. flowers face left when on the left arm, right when on the right.

8. this bracelet is transgender (pattern #106540)

half blue and half pink, with white diamonds with alternating blue and pink interiors.

i just made this one because of the colour scheme it came in. the pattern's also nice i guess

you've already seen this one but you can see it again! it's kinda hard to stretch it out so all of the words can be seen since the letters take up more than half of the whole bracelet. very funny. i love this thing, my friend was a genius when she suggested this one. turned the pic sideways so it matches the others.

standard location: top of the left arm, above everything else. this is cause it was pretty tight but i stretched it out, it's still kinda tight tho.

12. misfits fiend skull (pattern #2902)

a little convex??? my string tension is garbage. it's also pretty thick at 25 strings so i got creative with how i tied the ends. this one makes me think of leyendecker because i was watching a video about him when finishing it.

standard location: don't always wear this one but i wear it more often than some of the others. can go on either arm but mostly the left, above pompompurin and below the hearts. top of skull faces left when on left arm faces right when on right arm you get the pattern right.

13. woodstock (pattern #5082)

i just finished this one today so i'd have it for this post. matching with a snoopy i made for my friend months ago. finally, snoopy is no longer alone. we also have snoopy and woodstock plushies (i'm woodstock she's snoopy) with magnets in their heads so they can stick together

standard location: i literally just made this like 2 hours ago. i'll put it on my left arm tho, between pompompurin and the hearts. he has to be oriented exactly like he is in the picture etc. you know.

ok that took longer than i expected bye have fun the end. one time one of my friends said that i should sew them all together to make one big arm warmer and i told him i already thought about that and he said "oh no am i becoming as crazy as you are"

We start in the very first episode, the pilot.

Look 1:

Our first glimpse of our leading lady is when she’s watching the particle accelerator be turned on. Though it’s nothing especially exciting, I love this look. All of it feels like it couldn’t be worn separately- which is very, very Iris. Yes, she can be impulsive and emotional, but at the same time, she doesn’t make a move without considering everything, and such details are woven into her outfits.

I love her moto jacket!! I REALLY wish she got to repeat it in the show. Wornontv informs me that it’s the Montesson Jacket in Navy Marine/Everest by Wilfred.  It’s gorgeous on her. The dark purple and red combo looks great. 

In future, the purple and red would reflect Barry and Iris as a superhero power couple so while I’m sure it was unintentional, A+ for unintentional foreshadowing with Iris’ outfit. Also the fact that it goes so well with Barry’s outfit? Soulmates.  

Candice said that Iris rarely wears flat shoes and this is reflective in the Pilot where she starts off by running in heeled ankle boots.

Not pictured, but she also has cute little red bracelets and studded earrings which look great, not overpowering her look but adding to it. And this is the first time she wears rings! Rings are Iris’ go to accessory throughout the series so it’s neat to see where it all started! Unfortunately, I can’t find where to find them. 

Also love the bag with her psych dissertation in it. For as much as Iris ribs Barry about his nerdiness, she is SUCH a nerd. Yes, Iris, the particle accelerator unveiling is the best place to work on your dissertation and not something you could go back to when you get home!

Look 2:

Not much of a look- it was very briefly shown but it looks like casual wear. Which is very exciting- we don’t get to often see her casual garb this season! Looks like a pink top, green or black jacket and grey pants. A chaotic colour combination that is more chaotic than others, but still looks good on her. 

This is probably due to the fact that this is one of the most chaotic moments of her life so far- her best friend just got struck by lightning.

Look 3:

Not many pics since this is one of her most recurring outfits, so you’ll def see it again! It is the Wilfred Free LISIÈRE DRESS in CRS Dye/Mykonos BL. I think it’s one of her simplest looks of the season. 

She’s grieving Barry, but she has to get to work, smile and be friendly and that is reflected in her costuming. I love that her necklace is off centre- her head doesn’t seem to be tilted and the shot is straight. Off centre necklaces are Iris’ thing in early s1 and honestly, I wish they would make a comeback. 

Look 4:

In her next Jitters scene, she wears an army green jacket, a red floral dress (Talula: Lipinski Dress), burgundy tights and of course, heeled ankle boots. There was…a lot in this outfit lmao. I love the jacket- the gold accents, the scalloped back, the collar. 

It’s a very cute dress too! And I love the way scoop necks look on her. The daisy necklace is adorable and matches the dress. Still, very cute and very fitting for the outfit. I love the silhouette of her outfit, too.

Look 5

This look is cute and I’m so surprised it only has .4 seconds of screentime considering it was the main promotional look.

Regardless, it’s a short reddish purple dress which is a really unusual shade for her in that she doesn’t get to wear it that frequently. Which is a shame, she looks great in it. She also has a bracelet which looks gold and red in the photoshoots. I’m unsure if she wears it in the show, given the short amount of time she’s in it. 

And another off center necklace! Another circular necklace though this one has points. I originally thought it was a locket but no. just a circle.

It’s really cute but I can’t get over how close the West family home set looks to Barry’s lab set. Also Barry’s  perspective with Iris glowing golden is very, very cute.

This doesn’t seem to have Iris vibes to it which might be why this is only in a “blink and you miss it” scene in the trailer. She rarely wears polo collars, and she very rarely wears burgundy and black.  That being said, she looks cute.

Idk what can i say, it just feels very Gabriella! It's fitting for her, and it's just a super nice color. I used to pretty firmly believe I wouldn't look good in a turtleneck (and tbh i don't really own many sweaters anyway) but i've warmed up to it the past couple years and i think im gonna get myself a nice one for the coming winter

6. Delilah's dress

I mean Delilah's probably my favorite RH character (not doll specifically but character) just based on her description (according to the fandom wiki, im like 99% sure i saw it on mga's website too at one point but now i cant find it??) being a sweet blue ridge country gal and all and like. What's more country blue ridge mountain buttercup than her dress tbh. It's just so pretty and delicate, it's one of those pieces i almost never wanna take off once its on a doll just bc its so nice. Also shoutout to her boots I will always shoutout cowboy boots

5. Tie between Daria's doc martens and jacket

Tbh i was going back and forth and which should be here bc I didn't wanna put 2 pieces from the same doll in 2 spots, but i think this spot fits them both bc i like them for largely the same reasons- they look good with a lot of my other dolls (not jist RH but a couple of my ooak monster highs) and they're pieces I'd want irl. Ive been trying to get my hands on some boots that are close enough to doc martens (even if they arent bc if they look cool idgaf abt the actual brand) and i got pretty close at a thrift store, but they were one size too small 😔 anyway good pieces. Shoutoht to Daria she was one of my first rh dolls

4. Sheryl's jacket

Hot (or possibly cold idk) take I don't think there's a single bad piece in either of Sheryl's outfits. They're all perfect. I have not yet seen clueless but its been in my "movies i need to watch over quarantine" list that i made in april 2020 since the beginning and i think this is a sign to watch it. Anyway the jacket's here bc it's the most iconic part imo, but like also shoutout to both of her heels, all of her 2nd outfit, the sheer top i've used for like four separate dolls outfits, the earrings, the belt, literally everything else etc etc

3. Krystal's Fishnets

This one's pretty simple- her fishnets are just really versatile! They're like real life fishnets. Goes with a lot! Looks good on pretty much anyone! Improves any situation! Fits my monster high ooaks! They also look great in them!

Uma holds a special place in my heart for the simple fact that she is a guitarist. And i am a guitarist. And we have similar hats. <3 but also like none of my other rh dolls have hats and hats for dolls are just good accessories but ESPECIALLY this hat specifically. Idk it just rly brings together the edgy punk kinda thing and she might feel incomplete without it tbh. But also i lile it bc its a lot like my favorite hat <3

My head was laying on his chest, his hand in my messy hair. A thought popped into my head. I made something for Eddie but got to carried away and forgot about it.

“I got something for you, Ed’s” I moved off his bed, wrapping the duvet around my body, walking towards my bag.

“What might that be, tots?” His body was turned away from me hugging a pillow in my absence.

I didn’t reply but sat back in the bed gaining his attention. He flipped over, facing me. I pulled away his right hand and slipped on a bracelet fitting perfectly on his wrist.

“A bracelet?” His fingers danced along the material of the strap.

“Yeah. I made it out my bra.” A smile was presented on my face, proud of what I had made. He paused for a moment eyes moving to me.

“You serious?!” He exclaimed hands moving to my waist.

“Yeah! I made it out your favourite blue one.” My fingers moved to his wrist pulling it to his eyes. Eddie nodded getting the message.

A smile finally breaking out on his face, he pulled me towards him making me fall on top. Eddie’s lips met mine a hand reaching the back of my head the other holding my wrist.

“Let’s not repeat what happened earlier” I laughed pulling alway.

He rolled his eyes, staring down at his wrist again a smile taking over his features. His eyes then darted to the clock on the wall

“I have to go to hellfire! Shit I’m late!” He jumped out of bed moving to get his clothes on, soothing down his messy hair down. I also moved getting my discarded clothes off the floor.

“You ever gonna sit in one of our meetings?” He enquired, wrapping his hands around my wrist from behind placing his head on my shoulder.

“I never have so I might stop by today.” I shrugged.

“Please do, the guys keep giving me shit that you don’t exist and I’ve made you up.” I giggle and I feel him stiffen behind me.

“I’ll think about it. I’ll see you later Ed’s”

I head shouting behind the Drama rooms curtain and didn’t know if to enter quietly or speak before entering.

My hand brushed against the material and pulled it open slowly so no one would notice me. My foot steps where quiet, making a straight line for Eddie and his throne.

I stepped behind it wrapping my arms around his neck doing my best not to disturb him or the game. That thought failed me when one of the members spoke up.

“How much did you pay her, Eddie?” His hair was curly and he had a cap on arms crossing around his front.

Eddie pulled me to sit on his lap a laugh escaping my lips.

“I’m getting payed?” I gasped turning to look at the groups shocked faces. My hand subconsciously made its was to play with my bra strap on Eddie’s wrist, that was resting on the table.

“ You weren’t lying! You really did bag a hottie.” The same kid gasped knocking arms with the tall, lanky boy next to him.

“Indeed I did, Dustin, you could learn a bit from me.” I leaned back into Eddie exited with this exchange.

“How long? You seem very close due to you wearing his ring and him wearing, as I presume, a bracelet from you.” A different person piped up into the conversation.

“5 months, that’s how long I have spoken about her idiots. Yes she’s wearing my ring and yes I’m wearing her homemade bracelet.” He held his wrist up when a little girl began to speak.

“Is that a bra strap?!” My face went red, Eddie just smirked and the rest pulled faces.

“Uh huh yes, yes it is.” Everyone in the group began to leave packing there bags and disappearing behind the curtains.

“That should teach em.” Eddie mumbled into me ear then said one more thing before standing up and chucking me over his shoulder.

“I should make one for you out of my underwear band.”

5. Describe their cozy night in.

God I just picture the three of them at the trailer together while Wayne is out working for the night, it’s raining outside and the three of them are curled up on the couch together in this little cuddle pile with pillows and cozy blankets, having drinks and junk food and watching movies that Steve and Robin dropped off for them :P The two girls ending up falling asleep on Eddie and he’s trapped underneath them and he doesn’t even care XD 

20. Choose one song that perfectly describes their relationship.

Just off the top of my head, the number one song I ascribe to these three is Chiquitita by ABBA? Mostly because it applies to both Nyx and Eddie taking care of Chrissy and being willing to listen to her and be there for her when she needs them :3 

26. What are their vices?

The really funny thing is that before I actually started watching s4, my bf and I had all these headcanons about Eddie and we were like “oh we don’t think he smokes or drinks or does drugs” and then the show was like “INCORRECT” it was kind of hilarious :P 

Honestly, I’m normally not into this sort of thing even as far as fiction goes, but because it’s THEM there’s something weirdly sweet about the three of them getting high together? And of course Eddie sharing his smokes and beer with the girls XD It’s cuter than it usually would be because it’s EDDIE and he’s so genuinely well-intentioned? And the girls are curious and exploratory, likely for the first time in both their lives, so it’s freedom for them in a lot of ways!

30. Your OTP gets to pick out each other’s outfits; what is each wearing?

OH THIS IS SUCH A CUTE IDEA I LOVE IT 8D

For Chrissy, she never gets a chance to really express herself so I have a lot of fun picturing Eddie and Nyx giving her a proper punk rock/goth makeover?? Putting color in her hair, giving her a smokey eye makeup look and a bold lip color, eyeliner wings sharp enough to kill a man :P Nyx puts some of her jewelry on Chrissy; a studded choker, dangling chain earrings, and a thick silver chain necklace probably with a pentagram pendant on it :P They paint her nails black, put her in some ripped up tights and ankle boots, and a pleated skirt that’s honestly her style, it’s just got a red and black plaid pattern? And of course Eddie gives her a Hellfire Club shirt of her own :P The leather jacket she wears over it is likely one of his, too, and he’d give her a couple of his rings to wear, too 8D 

Nyx is more of a challenge because she’s so committed to her overall goth aesthetic :P That being said, she can deny Chrissy NOTHING so she indulges her when Chrissy wants to see how Nyx looks in some of her clothes? Though she picks out stuff that’s as close to her usual style as she can get; a nice blue dress, a set of wool tights with rosebuds embroidered on them, and a pair of ballet flats? Chrissy probably ties Nyx’s hair back in a low ponytail with one of her hair ribbons as well 8D And gives her a set of her little stud earrings :3 Though of course once Eddie gets in on this Nyx loves the little punk touches he adds :P Putting a leather belt on over the dress as a nice touch, plus some spiked bracelets, and Eddie would absolutely make Nyx a necklace with one of his rings on it that’s too big for her to wear on her finger :3 

And finally Eddie, who may just be the best one because ohhhh my god the girls would have SO MUCH FUN dressing him up :P I think I speak for the majority of Eddie simps when I say Chrissy and Nyx would share our collective desire to see Eddie in something a little more formal than usual 8D Wayne might even enable the girls by providing them with one of his old suits that Chrissy can tailor to fit Eddie?? Probably a very simple three-piece suit, but OH my god Eddie would look gorgeous in it 8D though he still wears his rings and his usual punk belt buckle, and they might even add a little neck chain to pin to his collar so it compliments his tie :P Also, straight from my curly-haired bf, he wants SO desperately for the girls to take proper care of Eddie’s naturally curly hair so the curls are more tight and glossy than the way he usually keeps it XD

OOH now this is fun to think about, I haven’t thought about it before!! I just got the cutest mental image of Chrissy having trouble sleeping during a thunderstorm and Eddie and Nyx making her the middle of a cozy lil sandwich while they walk her through that little game where you start counting the seconds after a lightning strike and see how far you get before you hear the thunderclap, so you know how far away the storm is? I’m also just realizing that Eddie’s gonna have to invest in a new mattress, having not only one girlfriend but TWO to stay the night XD

Beep beep beep be-

I stop my alarm on my phone. I sit up and take a few deep breaths and look outside my bedroom window.

“Well atleast I don’t have work today.” I said out loud and started getting ready for class.

I head towards my chair where I had my clothes laid out for the day. I go back to check the time on my phone and remove the charger and take my phone with me to the kitchen.

“What should I eat?” I ask myself. I looked into the kitchen cabinets and found my favorite cereal and grabbed the box.

As I finish making my cereal, I make my way back to my table and see a twitter notification on my phone and disregard it for a little bit, and start eating my cereal. Being satisfied with a couple of bites, I grab my phone and see a notification from twitter again. I clicked on the notification, and I could’ve sworn I would’ve choked on my cereal if I continued eating it.

“Seriously Yeonjun, right in front of my cereal.” I said out loud.

“Mans has the audacity- THE AUDACITY- OOOHH I swear, he does not let me eat in peace.” I start ranting and fangirling.

I finished my cereal and getting ready to head to campus while TRYING to get through the rest of the day now that I saw Yeonjun’s pictures.

I make my way towards campus and head towards the building where I have my class. My communications classes are connected to the business classes for students majoring in business. While I was going to make a right turn, I accidentally bumped into someone, and the force was enough to push me back a little and cause me to trip. Thankfully, I landed on my butt.

“I’m so sorry, I didn’t see you there.” Their hand reaches out to me to help me up.

“Oh no, it’s okay. I should’ve watched where I was going.” I looked up and grabbed their hands as they pulled me up. I took a look at the stranger who I bumped into, and boy was he handsome. He has broad shoulders and he looks really fit. He was wearing skinny jeans, a beige top, along with a chain bracelet and matching necklace. His black hair parted in the middle, exposing his forehead- making his facial features look sharp.

“You’re good, but are you hurt? That seemed like a bad fall.” He asked, his brown dark brown eyes looking concerned.

“Really, I’m fine. Thanks for your concern.” I smiled and pulled my phone out of my back pocket to check the time.

‘Shoot, I have 5 minutes until class starts.’ I thought.

“Uhm, I should get going- sorry again. Have a good rest of your day!” I smile at him as he returns a small smile to me. Thankfully, my class was 2 classrooms away from where I tripped.

I’ve been thinking about the guy all throughout class, I couldn’t focus at all. He was so handsome, I was so shocked by his good looks.

‘There’s no doubt he probably has a girlfriend though.’ I thought, making myself sad. I had another thought to that it’s best that I keep away from boys and just not think about relationships

My class passed by like a blur and I didn’t even realize that class was over until everyone was packing up their stuff. I put away my stuff and headed out. I start having a mental debate if I should go home or stay on campus to do homework until my stomach starts to grumble.

‘Well, guess I’ll get some food and do homework in the cafeteria.’

I enter the cafeteria and make my way to where they have Mexican food.I make my order, and head towards the nearest table and set my stuff down on the table. I look down at my phone and see a twitter notification. I click on it and the first picture that I see is of TXT in a group photo. I let out a small gasp and covered my mouth to refrain from squealing and getting unnecessary attention.

“Here’s your order!” I look up and go up to the counter, “Thank you!”

I make my way to a table and click on the first photo and scroll to the next until I see all the photos they posted for their comeback, while downloading them at the same time.

“Soobin is bias wrecking me big time omg.” I say to myself. I reply to their post and set my phone down to start eating.

After I finished eating, I completed some homework. I go over my planner to see if I need to complete some other assignments. When I check that I need to read a textbook from my class, it’s not in my backpack.

‘Darn, oh well. Time to go home.’ I thought and started to put away my stuff. As I get off the chair and gather my trash, I see the cute boy in line with his friends ordering food. I don’t think much about it and throw my trash away and make my way to the exit to head home.

I take my keys out of my pocket and unlock my door. I head straight into my room and plop onto my bed and start to scroll on my timeline when a notification pops up from Weverse saying pre-order for TXT’s EP is up. I clicked on it and immediately went for the set.

“Well guess I’ll pay for TXT’s rent yet again.” I say jokingly.

I gol back on twitter a couple minutes until another notification from Weverse popped up. This time it was to enter for a raffle to have a fansign fan call (is that what it’s called? lol) with TXT. I think for a second and just go for it even though the chances are slim that I win that raffle.

“Eh it won’t hurt to try.” I say while putting in my information.

Once I was finished I sigh and plop my phone onto my bed.

“I shouldn’t get my hopes up though, what are the chances I’ll win?”

I ended my day reading from my textbook for a little and taking notes. Taking one last look in my planner what I had written for the next day.

When I was a kid...

When I was a kid I was pushed down the stairs in a laundry basket. I grew up with my cousins, my mom’s siblings, children. We all lived within a 5 minute drive from one another. I considered them my best friends. I still do. I grew up being the youngest and only girl of six children, so for me, my girl cousins were my sisters. One day when I was a kid, I went over to my cousin, Megan’s house as I often did after school. We were playing with my other cousin, one of my best friends to this day, Sabrina. (Now, let’s get this straight, at this time of my life, as a kid who wanted to fit in, I looked up to my older cousins and didn’t think much of what they asked of me. This hallway was about 3 feet wide/long. It was in between her and her brother’s bedroom, and led to the top of the stairs. Sabrina and I at this point were probably somewhere between 6-8 years old, old enough to know better but again, we trusted our cousin Megan. She brings out a laundry basket, the type of laundry baskets that zip up at the top. She asks Sabrina and I to go into it. We were skeptical and asked her why. She responded with saying that she wanted to see “if we would both fit”. I should’ve questioned her more or been more doubtful of her intentions but being the naive young girl I was, I stepped into the laundry basket. So did Sabrina. we were both pretty tiny and somehow fit, although it was very tight. Megan zipped the top and proceeded to push us closer to the stairs. Without any hesitation, she pushed the laundry basket with us in it, down her stairs. These stairs lead to a small space of hallway that then had a wall. We in fact, did hit that wall. It hurt, badly. Megan’s mom, my aunt, came running to see what happened. Megan rushed down the stairs to make sure we were alright, although she probably wanted to make it look like it was an accident. They unzipped the laundry basket and we wiggled out of the tight space. Megan got a talking to, one she deserved, however not very pleasant to hear. Sabrina were shocked, we were young so it was hard for us to even comprehend what just happened and why Megan did it. We got an apology, one that was made after lots of tears. That day will never be forgotten and we will never let Megan live it down. It is an incident and a story that needs no justification.
