The top five ways you can assist street children in India are as follows
As a result of widespread migration from the hinterlands, the population of street children in urban areas is steadily growing. Additionally, India's urban population is growing rapidly, placing more at-risk children in slums. Notwithstanding living in ghettos, 27.4% of kids between the ages of 7 and 18 need admittance to framework. For instance, only 17% of Indian schools have bases in the United States. By raising awareness and intervening, only NGOs and aid workers can affect real change.
Tumblr media
1. Changes that need to be made to give these kids a chance at a better life:
Despite the fact that Activities with Street children are taught to only communicate with beggars and therefore anticipate a rude refusal, you can give them a kind voice by asking them their name, background, and other specifics. Nonetheless, rather than giving them food or cash, give online to coordinated youngster government assistance crusades like those run by Save the Kids, India's most respectable NGO for kid freedoms. It is feasible to utilize their own data to acquaint them with a magnanimous non-benefit association that plans to furnish them with sustenance, wellbeing, and recuperating.
2. Report the child to the local Kid Government
Assistance Board of trustees or the police if the child appears troubled. Depending on how well you know the child, you can inquire about how their parents or guardians are treating them. As soon as the child discloses any signs of abuse, such as violence, drug addiction, or malnutrition, or if he mentions abuse, you should contact the appropriate authorities. These include the local Early Childcare Programs Committee and the police.
3. Home to an especially enormous number of street and ghetto kids
Your time is the most important gift you can give these kids — after cash — and you can chip in at the middle for road kids. Save the Children operates centers in Delhi, Kolkata, and Mumbai to provide these children with education, relaxation, psychosocial support, and counseling. Save the Children's "Ride to School" program in Mumbai, for example, uses a Flexible Learning Community (MLC) to give India's underprivileged children the experience of a great school environment, complete with seats, slate, a library, games, and a television with blu-ray players. This is a tempting proposition for persuading them to leave the streets.
4. Donating
Donating to a charity and fundraising for non-governmental Child Care Assistance Program is the most straightforward and time-saving method of support. Giving a youngster a superior future can be pretty much as straightforward as buying some espresso or watching the following film. Furthermore, you can pursue and take part in a NGO's different gathering pledges through virtual entertainment or face to face at booths, shopping centers, and other public areas.
5. Campaign for Non-Governmental Organizations
The voices of everyday people who truly care about children and the needs they face are the strongest. Through web-based diversion, as well as by interfacing with people in your association, you can drive attention to NGO campaigns, their goals, etc.
You can enquiry us for :-
Work with Women
Volunteers for Orphanages
Volunteer English Teaching Program
Conclusion
In conclusion, the number of urban street children increases the incidence of crimes like kidnapping and human trafficking. It is exacerbated by educational disruptions and a lack of parental care. The presence of Indian and international NGOs that work with local authorities to prevent these children from becoming dependent on substances or victims of abuse and exploitation is essential in this circumstance.

What is the difference between Charity & Philanthropy?
https://childhelpfoundation.in/blog/assets/images/posts/philanthropy-31-01.jpg
The major difference between charity and philanthropy is that charity is more perceived as being an emotional, immediate response whereas philanthropy is more strategic and built on rebuilding. On a similar note, Charity aims at relieving the pain of a particular social problem whereas Philanthropy focuses on addressing the root causes of the problem.
An excellent example of charity would be the distribution of painkillers to malaria-affected patients. On the other hand, in the same scenario, a philanthropic organization would sponsor the education of the people in the affected areas and support medical research teams in finding a cure for malaria. Charity is giving, whereas Philanthropy is acting and changing a system for a better world.
The best way to describe the difference between charity and philanthropy is by using a very common phrase, "Give a man a fish, you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, you feed him for a lifetime".
Here is a list of the top five Charitable Trusts in India:
Child Help Foundation (CHF): Child Help Foundation (CHF) is a pan-India non-profit, non-governmental organization, that is registered under the Bombay Public Trust Act 1950, in the year 2010. They are a child-centric organization that works holistically to cater to the development of all the factors that directly or indirectly affect children. They work in alignment with the adopte Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations. It functions for us as a roadmap to bring effective change in society. Emergency Medical Support, Swastha se Shiksha Tak, Mini Science Center Projects, Baby Feeding Centers, Roti Ghar Program, Village Development Program, and Humanitarian Relief are among the most effective initiatives that we have implemented.
Child Rights and You (CRY): Recognized as India’s most trusted NGO, Child Rights and You (CRY) works tirelessly to ensure happier and healthier childhoods for India’s underprivileged children. CRY addresses children’s critical needs of healthcare, nutrition, education, and protection from child labor and child marriage by working with parents, teachers, Anganwadi workers, communities, district and state-level governments, and the children. In the last 42 years, CRY has impacted the lives of over 3 million children across 19 states in India.

Which are the top 10 schools for girls in India?
Tumblr media
The shifting process from a co-ed to a girls boarding school can be tricky for parents. It often is the first time that you have to think about all aspects of your child’s education and health.
Gone are the days when children used to live with parents in hostels. Here is a list of boarding schools in Pune For girls that might help you:
As per research conducted by schools in Mumbai to boost the education level of girls in India, several efforts are being taken by the government and NGOs. In this article, we shall discuss the list of top 10 schools for girls in India.
Well, you have come to the right place friend. It's a fact that I've spent countless hours putting together an amazing list of the top 10 best schools in India for girls. There are many resources to choose from but this list is detailed and informative, which means you can use it straightaway.
Are you looking for schools in India that offer education to girls? As per the statistics over 500 million girls are not receiving any kind of education which are the worst in developing countries.
The world has declared 2015 as the year of girls education and has initiated various plans to make schools accessible for all girls irrespective of their location, economic background or ethnicity.
Choosing the best school for your daughter/s is one of the most crucial decisions and a significant investment you will make in her life. A lot of factors need to be taken into consideration before zeroing down on a school.
The top schools in India do not only provide academic education, they also impart social and emotional development of their students. There are a number of schools in Hyderabad, Delhi, Bangalore, Mumbai, Kolkata and Pune among others. Here's a look at some of the top schools for girls in India…
The best schools are the ones where the students and teachers can learn together. Where the environment is conducive to learning, where there is a healthy student-teacher ratio, where the infrastructure is good and where there is no discrimination on any basis. You will find such schools in abundance in India.
The top 10 schools for girls in India are:
St. Joseph's Convent School, Allahabad
Bishop Cotton Girls’ School, Bangalore
La Martinière College, Kolkata
Sacred Heart Senior Secondary School, Jalandhar
Mahadevi Birla Girls' Higher Secondary School, Kolkata
Mount Carmel School, Anand Nagar, Hyderabad
Auxilium Convent Girls' High School and Junior College, Mumbai
The literacy rate of women in India is low. The 2011 census of India has shown worse results than that of 2001 census, showing an increase in the gap between female and male literacy rates.
In rural areas, only 65% of women are literate as compared to 81% of men. Among women aged 15–24 years, the urban literacy rate is 92%, while the rural rate is 77%.
The Government of India had launched Saakshar Bharat Programme in 2009 which aimed at improving female literacy rate in India to 80% by 2017. However, progress has been slow and as per 2011 census, female literacy stands at 65.46% against 82.14% for males.
To accelerate the process, various measures have been taken by the government such as extension of working hours under Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA) to include adult education classes.
A study conducted by Transparency International in India found that more than 50% of households reported that they would not support a girl's education if they had to pay for it themselves. The government has also launched other programs such as "Kishori Shakti Yojana" and "Sabla".
The education sector in the country of India is no doubt the largest in the world. It has a very large number of schools, colleges and universities. In fact, it has some of the most prestigious educational institutes in the world.
The education system in India is quite varied and different from one state to another. Education is compulsory for all children aged between 6 to 14 years.
The Government of India runs many schools in every state and city. There are some famous private schools that are run by certain trusts and societies as well. The main systems here are the state government schools, central government ones, private schools that are unaided and aided by the government.
The Government of India has taken a number of steps to improve the quality of education here. One can see this with many schemes it has implemented like SSA, RMSA, and Midday Meal Scheme as well.
There are also various scholarships and other schemes available for people belonging to backward classes or those who come from lower income groups.
Education is free up to class 8th at these schools which are run by the state government and many central government ones as well. A lot of funding comes from taxes that people pay but there is also a lot of help coming in from other countries like Japan and Germany.
