Plaid is tricky when it’s 1) only mimicking plaid because it’s not a woven 2) on a very small scale and 3) you have to make a bunch of weird increases in weird places because the sweater is for a roundish dinosaur. But it was the kind of tricky that’s fun and it turned out so cute! Yes I did write a full special pattern including different mods for a dinosaur sweater 😂

Okay so.

The family.

To Anakin, Obi-Wan is his father. To Obi-Wan, Anakin is his brother. Ahsoka and Anakin are siblings. Obi-Wan is Ahsoka’s uncle, but Obi-Wan and Anakin are also Ahsoka’s parents. Ashoka’s other dad is Plo Koon. The Wolffepack are also Plo’s children, but Ahsoka and the Wolffepack are not siblings. Cody is Rex’s older brother, and Echo and Fives are Rex’s kinda-children, but Cody is like their scary older cousin you almost never see, not their uncle. Cody and Obi-Wan are kinda married, but Cody isn’t Anakin’s father, he’s more like a distant cousin—you trust him, you respect him, and you’d probably listen to him, but you don’t really know him that well.

It’s….. complicated.

It is said that outside of Seelos Village, there is golden forest - alongside a long stretch of road headed to the nearest city - that houses an ancient God, and that any who meet their gaze are granted their heart's desire. Or "forced to watch their guts being torn out from their body so the God can feast" as Gregor once eloquently put it.

As a child, Rex never believed him nor his gorey versions of the fairytale and he continued to not believe in them the moment he was old enough to leave home. Yet now, as he hiked down the empty road parallel to the fabled golden forests that were retold to him over and over, he couldn't shake the feeling that he wasn't alone.

Decided to render a Tree Rex doodle I did awhile back :)

A rare sighting on a mild Christmas Day of waxwings in south London. The flock of 13 was feeding on berries from a pink rowan tree in a garden. The waxwings have migrated across from Scandinavia due to a shortage of food there and have been sighted across the UK.
