Combining two hyperfixations, and now I'm thinking about how badly an interaction between Beetlejuice and lucifer from the Netflix show would go.

Like, beej would not take orders from him, he'd probably make fun of him if he tried to. He isn't one of Lucifers demons, hell doesn't exist in his world, and he'd actually check to see if the netherworld existed in Lucifers world, and probably upset him drawing a door on his wall. hes just so annoyed the christians were right in at least one universe.

he also has way more powers than a demon under lucifer does, and absolutely would shapeshift wings if he brought his own out just to spite him. He'd also think it was kinda boring the only powers Maze had was being really good at fighting, and then would go intangible to avoid her attacking him. He doesn't know how to be any clearer about the whole ghosts and demon ghosts thing.

The only way they wouldn't get into some sort of bad fight would be if Lydia was brought there with him, and Trixie was around when the two of them were pulled into her universe, because maybe she asked and wanted to see if either of them could summon him.

Lydia would immediately accept that he's the devil as well, because she's seen a lot of strange stuff, so why not also this. She would also think Maze is cool, but also would probably say she prefers the netherworld to any sort of religious afterlife, because torture forever is terrifying as a concept much less as reality.

They get back home on accident, because lydia really wants to leave and avoid any weird religious stuff that might happen, or a potentially bad fight where her demon gets actually dragged to hell when he isnt supposed to be there, and Lydia just chants home thrice while grabbing Beetlejuice and they end up home.

Lucifer is left wildly confused about what is possibly going on in that other universe, to make it so different and not have him in it, but he isnt that bothered to figure it out.

Lucifer au where shortly after he arrives in LA he’s involved in a car accident with none other than a young Chloe decker with a three year old trixie in the backseat. It’s a minor crash, Lucifer walks away with a slight concussion from smacking his head on the steering wheel and Chloe walks away with bruised ribs from the seatbelt. Lucifer does not.

Anyways, Lucifer is convinced it’s some plot to take him out because hello he’s injured which shouldn’t be possible except for he gets out of the car to confront his would be attacker only to find Chloe too focused on checking trixie over head to toe to give a single flying fuck about Lucifer which is… not what he was expecting. Obvi trixie is fine.

What happens after that is up in the air.

Alternatively, the accident is worse and since Lucifer “nothing can touch me” Morningstar doesn’t wear a seatbelt he gets thrown from the car and ends up in the hospital with amnesia. Only to wake up with Chloe asleep at his bedside holding trixie. And Lucifer is convinced… he’s married???

Anyways I’m very tired so this probably makes very little sense

Imagine if it was Trixie who discovered Michael's trickery.

I think if Michael (pretending to be his brother) and Trixie ever crossed paths, she would immediately be able to tell he wasn't Lucifer. She's smart, very perceptive and knows Lucifer much more than he thinks she does. More importantly, just like her mum, Trixie knows and trusts Lucifer to always tell the truth. The second Michael slips, she would know. And my girl would not hesitate to rip into him, she's very upfront like that, as kids often are.

Probably something along the lines of...

Michael: Ah yes Trixie, so wonderful to see you again.

Trixie: ur not lucifer

Michael: What-?

Trixie: im telling mom

Michael: What??

It pissed me off a LOT. But I suppose, under the circumstances, this was probably the ending that made the most sense.

Rewatching Lucifer because I have no idea where I left off and I have a few thoughts:

Episodes 1-3

- Why is Chloe looking at him like he's the love of her life and she's known him for years? You just met because he involved himself in the murder of someone he cared about and you spent the entire episode wanting him to leave basically. But now that you're shot and all, he the love of your life and you look at him all soft and stuff.

- Dan and Lucifer honestly slay (I could see them like hooking up but that might be because Dan's drama hasn't started yet) (they just give the vibe, especially their first meeting; I can't explain it)

- Ella should already be the main character, where is she? I miss her humor at the crime scenes and technically they haven't even happened yet.

- I love how dramatic everyone is when Lucifer dies his thing on them. I don't remember everyone's eyes twitching and the faces they'd make as he does it but it's just glorious to watch

- Trixie my adorable darling is everything in life and deserves the world

- Maze laughing at the imposter is beautiful

- I didn't realize how thirsty Linda was in the beginning. It's definitely something.

- The way Lucifer just threw the man through the window and three seconds later the guy walks past without a single injury kills me. It also looked like a set up for a hallucination and I was honestly a bit surprised it actually happened.

- Specking of: all the clues are right there Chloe why is it going to take you like three seasons to figure out the b I g secret? So many things in just three episodes. I understand denial but honestly...

Trixie in Lucifer had it all down. I don't agree that hurting/bullying means they like someone, but I like the shooting someone means you really like them.

Trixie: Remember last week, I told you that boy Noah kept throwing French fries at me at lunchtime?

Chloe: Mmhmm.

Trixie: And you said it actually might mean he likes me?

Chloe: Yes.

Trixie: Well, since you shot Lucifer, it must mean you really like him.

01x03: The Would-be Prince of Darkness

I do think it would be fun for a time travel fic to happen where the season one characters get to meet with their final season counterparts. It would be fun to see how they try not to alter the timeline and mess anything up, especially when a character, like Lucifer, can’t lie to avoid any conversations. 

Mostly I just like looking at the characters side by side and seeing how things change. The growth of it all, basically.
