Can you do a Karen X reader where Cady calls Karen stupid while ranting to the reader about why they should be together instead, and the reader loses it and defends her girlfriend? Like something along the lines of "My girlfriend has to translate everything in her head. Do you know how smart she is in Telugu?"
I don't know why, but I have always had the hc that the 2024 is constantly confused because English isn't her first language.
Thank you!
“What does she see in you?” - Karen Shetty x Fem! reader

The bell signaling the end of another tedious math class rang loudly, and you gathered your books, eager to escape the stuffy classroom. As you made your way through the bustling hallway, you spotted Karen standing by her locker, looking lost as usual.
"Hey, Karen," you greeted, smiling as you approached her. "Ready for lunch?"
Karen brightened at the sight of you. "Hey, Y/N! Yeah, I'm starving. What do you wanna eat?"
You shrugged. "I don't know, anything's fine with me. How about we grab something from the cafeteria?"
"Sounds good to me!" Karen chirped, closing her locker. As you walked together towards the cafeteria, you couldn't help but notice the curious glances and snickers from some of your classmates.
"What's up with them?" you muttered, frowning.
Karen glanced around nervously. "I-I don't know. Did I do something wrong?"
"No, of course not," you reassured her, squeezing her hand. "Ignore them. They're just being... immature."
As you entered the bustling cafeteria, you spotted Cady Heron, the new girl from Africa, sitting at a table with Janis Ian and Damian Leigh, talking animatedly. Cady noticed you and waved you over.
"Hey, Y/N! Come sit with us!" she called, flashing you a friendly smile.
You hesitated, glancing at Karen, who seemed unsure. "Um, sure," you said, Karen kissed you bye as she walked over to Regina and Gretchen as you walked over to Cady
As you sat down at the table, Cady launched into a rant about the school's social hierarchy, pointing out various cliques and their respective leaders. You listened politely, occasionally glancing at Karen, who was just picking at her food at another tanle
"And then there's the Plastics," Cady continued, her tone turning disdainful. "Especially Karen. I mean, she's nice and all, but let's face it, she's not the sharpest tool in the shed. What do you see in her y/n? I mean she’s not the prettiest and she’s certainly not the smartest.”
You felt a surge of anger rise within you. How dare she talk about Karen like that? Without thinking, you blurted out, "That's not true! Karen's smart in her own way."
Cady raised an eyebrow. "Oh, really? Care to elaborate?"
You took a deep breath, trying to gather your thoughts. "Karen may not be academically inclined, but she's incredibly perceptive. She's fluent in Telugu, for example, and she has to translate everything in her head before she speaks English. Do you know how smart she is in Telugu? She's also really good at reading people and understanding their emotions. That's a kind of intelligence, too."
“Tell that to the girl who couldn’t spell orange”, Cady snickered
"That's enough," you said, your voice trembling with emotion. "You have no right to talk about Karen like that. You don't know anything about her."
With that, you grabbed your tray, storming away from the table, grabbing Karen attention you grab Karen's hand and walked out of the cafeteria, leaving behind a stunned Cady and her friends.
Karen looked up at you, her eyes wide with surprise. "Y/N, what's wrong?"
You took a deep breath, trying to calm yourself down. "I'm sorry, Karen. I just felt sick all of a sudden”
Karen smiled, squeezing your hand. "Do you wanna go home? I’ll drive you home”
You nodded at the girl as she led you out the school gates.

G.V. SUBBARAMAYYA,
part 2
My first pilgrimage to Sri Ramanasramam was on 8th June 1933. From Kanchipuram, where I had accompanied my mother to attend a function, I travelled alone to Tiruvannamalai. I was at that time in great sorrow, having suffered my first bereavement the previous December when my two-year-old son died from what the doctors could only describe as heart failure.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
For over two years I had been reading the works of Sri Bhagavan and other ashram literature. My main interest had been literary rather than philosophical. I had been struck with wonder at the style of the Telugu Upadesa Saram that, in its simplicity, felicity and classic finish, equaled that of the greatest Telugu poet Tikkana. I had felt convinced that a Tamilian who could compose such Telugu verse must be divinely inspired. I wanted very much to see him. However, in view of my recent bereavement, my immediate quest at that time was for peace and solace.
I had my first darshan of Sri Bhagavan on the morning of my arrival. As our eyes met, there was a miraculous effect upon my mind. I felt as if I had plunged into a pool of peace. With closed eyes, I sat in a state of ecstasy for nearly an hour. When I came back to normal consciousness, I found someone spraying the hall to keep off insects, and Sri Bhagavan mildly objecting with a silent shake of his head.
Sri Bhagavan was speaking to someone. Since he seemed to be in a mood to talk, I boldly asked him my first question: The Bhagavad Gita says that mortals cast off their worn-out bodies and acquire new bodies just as one casts away worn-out clothes and wears new garments. How does this apply to the death of infants whose bodies are new and fresh?'
Sri Bhagavan promptly replied, 'How do you know that the body of the dead child is not worn out? It may not be apparent, but unless it is worn out, it will not die. That is the law of nature.'
This was the extent of my interaction with Sri Bhagavan on this first visit. Immediately after lunch, I left the ashram without even taking leave of Sri Bhagavan. I came and went incognito as an utter stranger.
As I write these words more than twenty years after this first meeting, I still feel the glow of joy that was revealed to me in that first darshan. But to capture the untrammeled exhilaration of that meeting and the transforming effect it had on my life, I have to go back to an ecstatic poem I wrote not long afterwards:
Eureka! I've found it! I've found it!
the missing link of this well-knit chain,
the keystone of this unending arch,
the correct solution of this cross-world's puzzle,
the only way out of this vicious circle, the pass to heaven's banquet,
the patent for immortality,
the armor against fate,
the death destroyer.
I've found it! I've found it!
the meeting point of matter and spirit,
the spell of beauty, the enchantment of love,
the magic touch that makes all beings one,
the fountainhead of joy,
the true philosopher's stone,
the secret of secrets,
the grand mystery,
I've found it! I've found it! Eureka!

Homeless NDA Ministers
IMC WEB DESK NEW DELHI: Indian politics defines transition. Elections saw Modi as the PM heading NDA-led coalition government. Soon after, former Union Ministers asked to vacate their designated homes
NDA goes through changes
Indian politics witnessed weighty changes in 2024. On 7th June 2024, Narendra Modi confirmed the support of 293 MPs to Droupadi Murmu, the President of India. This marked Modi’s third term as Prime Minister and his first-time heading NDA-led coalition government with the Telugu Desam Party of Andhra Pradesh and Janata Dal (United) of Bihar emerging as two primary alliances.
A noticeable step taken by the Directorate of Estates (DoE) under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) surely makes up for a sweeping swap!
DoE served a notice to few of the former Union Ministers in Indian Politics to vacate their official accommodation in Delhi’s Lutyens’ by 10 July as requests for accommodation pour in from newly appointed ministers.
All Union ministers and ministers of state (MoS) in Indian politics are entitled to a ‘Type VIII’ bungalow in Delhi’s Lutyens’. Former ministers have to vacate such an accommodation when they lose their ministerial berth, according to the DoE rules.
NDA-led coalition government have removed thirty-seven formers ministers in from Narendra Modi’s Union Council of Ministers. Indian politics stands synonymous to shifting gears.
Significant leaders in Indian politics namely Smriti Irani, Arjun Munda, R.K Singh, Niranjan Jyoti, Sanjeev Balyan, and Rajeev Chandrashekhar, lost in the recently concluded Lok Sabha elections. Others, such as Anurag Thakur, Narayan Rane, and Parshottam Rupala, won but did not get a ministerial berth this time. Some, such as Meenakshi Lekhi, did not get a ticket to contest the polls as the BJP replaced them with new faces. When the nation asks what is politics, well this is the face of real Indian Politics.
The DoE notice will be followed by a show cause notice eventually leading to an eviction notice.
Indian politics is often referred as the dance of democracy! While few ministers might still be showing unwillingness to vacate, there are others who have been upfront in changing their designated accommodation.
Former Education minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, who was served with an eviction notice by the Directorate of Estates recently, has also conveyed that he would be vacating the 27, Safdarjung Road bungalow.
Lutyens-Landmark in Indian Politics
Spread across an area of 23.60sqkm, The Lutyens Bungalow Zone is home to the luminaries of Indian Politics as well as high-net-worth individuals with about 3000 government-owned bungalows.
Serving NDA Union ministers were eligible for accommodation as allotted by the DoE. House committees of the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha secretariats are the competent authorities to allot accommodation to MPs.
Members are entitled to a licence-fee free flat or hostel accommodation throughout their term of office.
Members are entitled to water supply without payment of charges up to 4000 kl per annum. They are eligible for electricity up to 50,000 units (25,000 units measure on light meter and 25,000 units on power meter or pooled together) per annum beginning from January 1 every year.
Other facilities include- washing of sofa covers and curtains every three months. Furniture within the monetary ceiling of Rs 60,000 in respect of durable furniture.
They are also allowed for a 25 per cent remission in the rent on account of any improvement or addition made to it or any additional service provided thereto by way of furniture, electrical equipment and other services.
Editor’s Note
Around 50 former union ministers and MPs from the last Lok Sabha have been sent notice by DoE to vacate their official accommodation. Home is always closest to ones heart and when it is in the poshest locality of the capital and earned through valid eligibility, the address caries a myriad of meaning for the resident. Apparently it is just might be a regular governmental procedure but delving deep, slight feeling uprootedness might haunt souls of Indian politics.

Hey I wanted to ask this after watching Telugu movie Hi Nanna.
How does Evie handle having to grow up only with her father and not having her mother around? The movie just reminded me that Scott is a single father too and might have struggled at some point to give his daughter everything.
My headcanon is that Evie's parents are divorced, and it happened pretty much while Evie was still a newborn.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
While at Hartfeld, after he and Julia (Emma's mom) ended up going their separate ways, Scott eventually met this woman named Rani, a driven and tough yet sweet woman who mainly had interest in bodyguard jobs.
The two would soon fall in love, and would be engaged and married after they both completed their master's degrees. Some months later, Rani would become pregnant with her and Scott's first child- AKA Evie. The two seemed almost like a perfect match, except for one thing...
While Rani was about 4 months pregnant with Evie, she came to the realization that she was just not ready to settle down and raise a child.
Scott– who on the contrary had longed to raise a kid– was heartbroken, but respected her decision. They both decided that the best decision due to their conflict of personal interests was to divorce on amicable terms. Evie’s mom was, however, okay with carrying the child to term for Scott; though he reassured her that it'd be okay if she didn't want to do so.
Scott, knowing that Evie would eventually wonder who that woman in his photographs was and not wanting to lie to Evie, told her the full story when she was about 3.
Evie never resented her mother for leaving, and Scott did do a pretty good job at raising her while being a single dad. But it still always left her feeling upset and conflicted. She was aware that her mother was a great great person, and so sometimes she feels like she missed out on having that great great person as a figure in her life.
Knowing of this past also would make Evie a little bit fussy with her relationships. Aiden is consistently stepping out of his comfort zone and trying new things during his relationship with Evie, and mainly in the later years of their relationship, she would sometimes get a bit hung up about "not wanting him to do something he doesn't have to/is uncomfortable with". Sometimes it felt to her like the relationship was too good to be true, and she didn't want to end up in the same situation as her parents did. It was a bit upsetting to Aiden, but they'd manage to resolve their feelings together.
Rani would sometimes come to visit them, being more of an auntie figure to Evie. They get along pretty damn well, but it could be a bit awkward since Rani and Scott still had some feelings for each other and neither of them had really had any new partners.
Speaking of which, Emma had failed to matchmake Scott and Julia. Evie was conflicted about matchmaking them; on one hand, she would love a mother figure like Julia and for both her and Scott to be able to properly move on from Rani; but on the other hand, she'd watched the Arthur episode "Matchmaker, Matchbreaker" enough times to know that you can't really force these things. So she just decided to "let the chips fall where they may" on that one, and it ended up with Scott and Julia not falling back in love.
Later on in her life, Evie would eventually come to fully accept the situation with her parents and make peace with it.

EXCLUSIVE: When Mean Girls star Avantika Vandanapu admitted being a fan of Mahesh Babu: “He has a very down-to-earth and grounded nature about him”
Avantika Vandanapu, an emerging American-Indian actress, has captivated audiences in her portrayal of Karen Shetty in the latest Mean Girls installment, succeeding Amanda Seyfried's iconic role from 2004. The internet has been buzzing with praise, envisioning her as the brown Rapunzel and advocating for her presence in various projects. Prior to her Hollywood journey, Vandanapu marked her debut in the Indian film industry with a role in Mahesh Babu's 2016 release, Brahmotsavam.
Tumblr media
While the 19-year-old is revelling in the newfound fame in Hollywood, she made her Telugu movie debut as a child actor and worked with Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu. Back in 2021, while promoting her film Spin for Disney channel which also stars Abhay Deol, Avantika admitted to being a huge fan of Mahesh Babu. Speaking to Bollywood Hungama at the time, she had said, “I am a big fan of him. If you watch Telugu movies, you are mostly like and inevitably going to be a fan of Mahesh Babu. So to have the first movie and to have worked with him was such an insane thing for me. I don’t know if many Indians in American, second-generation Indian-American kids can comprehend Mahesh Babu’s magnitude and the amount of work he has done. I grew up watching so many Telugu movies. My parents speak fluent Telugu at home. I was very ingrained in that culture. So when I went to India and worked with Mahesh Babu, I knew what was happening and it was a huge thing for me. To this day, I am still like ‘That’s so weird that it was my first opportunity.’ How insane is that.”
Recalling Mahesh Babu’s kind gesture of guiding her during the shoot, she added, “I did get to speak with him on set. He is an adult and he decided to speak to his young kid who was a really big fan on set. He is so nice. During the shoot, a lot of things got added and we travelled to Ooty and a lot of unplanned travels happened. When we were there, he was kind of helping me, guiding me through the process because all this was happening so fast at once. He is a great actor and amazing to be in person. He is very quiet and he has a very down-to-earth and grounded nature about him.” Meanwhile, Avantika Vandanapu stars in Tina Fey’s Mean Girls. New student Cady Heron (Angourie Rice) is welcomed into the top of the social food chain by the elite group of popular girls called “The Plastics,” ruled by the conniving queen bee Regina George (Reneé Rapp) and her minions Gretchen (Bebe Wood) and Karen (Avantika). However, when Cady makes the major misstep of falling for Regina’s ex-boyfriend Aaron Samuels (Christopher Briney), she finds herself prey in Regina’s crosshairs. As Cady sets to take down the group’s apex predator with the help of her outcast friends Janis (Auli’i Cravalho) and Damian (Jaquel Spivey), she must learn how to stay true to herself while navigating the most cutthroat jungle of all: high school. The film is currently running in theatres.

★ Why did Salman Khan act in ‘Godfather’ without hearing the script and what’s Nayanthara like? Chiranjeevi tells all!
When was the last time that Bollywood superstar Salman Khan agreed to be a part of a film without hearing a word about the movie’s script or his role? Now before the snarky voice in us ridicules him about doing just that for his career’s spectacular misfires, here’s what we learned from Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi who convinced the Bollywood superstar to dip his feet into South India with ‘Godfather’. The Telugu re-make of the Malayalam blockbuster led by Mohanlal and directed by Prithviraj is out in UAE cinemas now.
“Salman bhai is a fantastic human being and a lovely person. And when this suggestion to request him to play the character of Masoom Bhai cropped up, it just took one phone call. Without even listening to any details about the story or the character, he gave a nod,” said Chiranjeevi in an e-mail interview with Gulf News. Apparently, the goodwill that Khan had for this matinee idol played a huge catalyst in Khan making his career’s first South Indian debut.
“From the time the idea was discussed, he was onboard within 20 minutes. Such is his love for me and Charan [Ram Charan, Chiranjeevi’s son] . I am very grateful to him for showing so much affection. While shooting we had great fun too,” said Chiranjeevi.
The gamble where Khan flew in blind paid off. ‘Godfather’ – not to be confused with the iconic Hollywood gangster epic – has raked in millions at the box-office worldwide. Reports claim the movie has swiftly entered the revered Rs1billion club since its release last Friday. 'Godfather' is a political thriller that kicks off when a patriarch of a well-connected family dies suddenly and a vacuum is left behind by the patriarch. The power games form the spine of this film.
Salman Khan plays a vital role in this film. What was your equation with him like and what was your take away from working with him?
Salman bhai [bro in Hindi] is a fantastic human being and a lovely person. And when this suggestion to request him to play the character of Masoom Bhai cropped up, it just took one phone call. Without even listening to any details about the story or the character, he gave a nod. From the time the idea was discussed, he was onboard within 20 minutes. Such is his love for me and Charan. I am very grateful to him for showing so much affection. While shooting we had great fun.
South Indian films are doing extremely well at the box-office, while Bollywood is not doing so well. Since you have acted in both industries, what are your thoughts on this development? While it is true that South Indian films are drawing audiences in large numbers, it is also true that not every South Indian film is a success. Likewise not every Bollywood film is a flop. There have been several hits in Bollywood in recent times. We must know that it is always the function of good content to bring in viewers and not about which region the film is coming from. We must move beyond the regional tags. And we must acknowledge that from now on there is only Indian Cinema now and not Bollywood, Tollywood or Mollywood.I

Digital Marketing in Telugu
Introduction
In today’s fast-paced digital world, marketing has evolved far beyond traditional methods. Digital marketing has become the backbone of modern business strategies, helping brands reach their audience online, where they spend much of their time. But what happens when you want to target a specific linguistic or regional audience, like the Telugu-speaking population? This article delves into the importance of digital marketing in Telugu, offering insights and strategies for effectively reaching this vibrant and growing demographic.
Understanding Digital Marketing
Digital marketing encompasses a range of strategies aimed at promoting products or services through digital channels. This includes everything from search engine optimization (SEO) and content marketing to social media and email marketing. The goal is simple: to connect with consumers in the digital spaces they frequent, whether it's through a search engine, social media platform, or email inbox.
The key components of digital marketing include:
SEO (Search Engine Optimization): Ensuring that your website ranks high in search engine results.
Content Marketing: Creating valuable content to attract and engage your target audience.
Social Media Marketing: Promoting your brand through social media platforms.
Email Marketing: Sending targeted emails to your audience to drive engagement and sales.
PPC (Pay-Per-Click) Advertising: Paying for ads to appear in search results or on social media.
Why Digital Marketing is Essential in Telugu?
The digital landscape in India is vast and diverse, with millions of people accessing the internet daily. Among these, the Telugu-speaking population represents a significant segment. As internet penetration increases in regions like Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, more Telugu speakers are coming online. This presents a unique opportunity for businesses to connect with this audience through digital marketing.
Growing Online Presence of Telugu-Speaking Users: With the rise of affordable smartphones and data plans, the number of Telugu-speaking internet users has surged. These users are searching for content, products, and services in their native language, making it crucial for businesses to cater to their preferences.
Potential for Reaching Regional Audiences: By focusing on digital marketing in Telugu, businesses can tap into a relatively untapped market. This can lead to higher engagement rates, as people are more likely to interact with content in their native language.
Language as a Barrier or Opportunity: While language can be a barrier if ignored, it becomes an opportunity when businesses create content that resonates with the local culture and language. This approach can build trust and brand loyalty among Telugu-speaking consumers.
Key Strategies for Digital Marketing in Telugu
Search Engine Optimization (SEO) in Telugu
SEO is a cornerstone of digital marketing, and its importance in regional languages cannot be overstated. To effectively reach Telugu-speaking users, it's vital to optimize your website and content for Telugu keywords.
Keyword Research in Telugu: Identifying the right Telugu keywords is the first step. Tools like Google Keyword Planner can help find relevant search terms that Telugu speakers are using.
On-Page SEO: This includes optimizing meta titles, descriptions, headers, and content in Telugu to ensure better search engine rankings.
Content Marketing in Telugu
Content is king, and this holds true for Telugu as well. Whether it’s blog posts, videos, or infographics, creating content in Telugu can significantly boost engagement.
Blogging in Telugu: Starting a blog in Telugu can help you connect with your audience on a deeper level. Share tips, stories, and news relevant to the Telugu-speaking community.
Video Content Creation in Telugu: YouTube and other video platforms are incredibly popular among Telugu speakers. Creating videos in Telugu can help your brand gain visibility and build a loyal following.
Social Media Marketing
Social media platforms are a powerful tool for connecting with your audience, and this is no different for Telugu speakers.
Popular Social Media Platforms for Telugu Speakers: Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, and YouTube are among the most popular platforms. Tailoring your content to these platforms can maximize your reach.
Strategies for Engagement in Telugu: Use regional slang, cultural references, and localized content to resonate with Telugu speakers. This can significantly enhance user engagement and brand recall.
Email Marketing in Telugu
Email marketing remains one of the most effective digital marketing strategies. By crafting emails in Telugu, you can improve open rates and foster a deeper connection with your audience.
Crafting Effective Email Campaigns in Telugu: Personalization is key. Use the recipient’s name and segment your list based on preferences to ensure your emails are relevant and engaging.
Pay-Per-Click (PPC) Advertising in Telugu
PPC advertising allows businesses to target specific keywords and demographics with precision.
Leveraging Google Ads and Social Media Ads in Telugu: Creating ads in Telugu can improve click-through rates as they appear more relevant to the user. Target ads based on location, interests, and language preferences to reach your audience effectively.
Creating a Successful Digital Marketing Plan in Telugu
To succeed in digital marketing in Telugu, it’s essential to have a well-thought-out plan. This involves understanding your audience, setting clear objectives, and continuously measuring and analyzing results.
Understanding Your Audience: Conduct thorough market research to understand the preferences, behaviors, and needs of Telugu-speaking users.
Setting Clear Objectives: Define what you want to achieve with your digital marketing efforts, whether it's brand awareness, lead generation, or sales.
Choosing the Right Platforms: Based on your audience research, select the platforms that will give you the best reach and engagement.
Measuring and Analyzing Results: Use analytics tools to track the performance of your campaigns. Adjust your strategies based on the data to improve results over time.
Challenges in Digital Marketing in Telugu
While the opportunities are vast, there are also challenges to be aware of.
Language Translation and Localization: Translating content from English to Telugu can be tricky. It’s important to ensure that the translation is accurate and culturally appropriate.
Limited Resources and Tools: Compared to English, there are fewer tools and resources available for Telugu digital marketing, making it more challenging to execute campaigns effectively.
Audience Segmentation and Targeting: Telugu speakers are spread across different regions with varying cultural nuances. Effective segmentation and targeting are crucial to ensure your campaigns resonate with the right audience.
Case Studies: Successful Digital Marketing Campaigns in Telugu
Examining successful digital marketing campaigns in Telugu can provide valuable insights.
Examples of Brands Effectively Using Digital Marketing in Telugu: For instance, brands like Flipkart and Amazon have successfully localized their content for Telugu-speaking users, leading to increased engagement and sales.
Lessons Learned from Successful Campaigns: The key takeaway from these campaigns is the importance of localization, understanding the audience, and delivering relevant content.
The Future of Digital Marketing in Telugu
The digital marketing landscape is constantly evolving, and so is the approach to regional languages like Telugu.
Emerging Trends: AI and machine learning are playing an increasingly important role in digital marketing, enabling better personalization and targeting.
The Role of AI and Automation in Regional Marketing: Automation tools are becoming more sophisticated, allowing businesses to execute large-scale campaigns in regional languages like Telugu more efficiently.
Predictions for the Next Decade: As more Telugu speakers come online, the demand for localized content will continue to grow, making digital marketing in Telugu a critical area of focus for businesses.
Conclusion
Digital marketing in Telugu is not just a trend; it’s a strategic approach to reaching a growing audience that prefers content in their native language. By understanding the nuances of this market and tailoring your strategies accordingly, you can build a strong connection with Telugu-speaking users and drive meaningful business results.
