French GP 2021 Race Summary

Podium finish: [P1] Max Verstappen [P2] Lewis Hamilton [P3] Sergio Perez

Poor turn 2 for Max Verstappen that gave Lewis Hamilton the jump to P1 in the 1st lap. And then the undercut got Max back in front and Red Bull did a pay back strategy to turn it into a 2-stop race that eventually led to a win for Max with some amazing action to keep us at the edge of our seats. 

Teamwork makes the dream work - Sergio Perez played best teammate and finished on P3

Fuming Valterri Bottas as he was robbed from a podium finish after expressing to the team he thinks it should’ve been a 2-stop race.

After a few struggling races, we are seeing some late-braking overtakes from Daniel Ricciardo and he is looking much more back in form in the McLaren finishing P6 just behind Lando Norris at P5.

Speaking of McLaren, the team was totally smashing it giving all the overtakes and entertainment for a track not best for overtaking. 

A pretty mega job from Pierre Gasly to put on quite a performance in his home race, finishing P7

We saw some impressive tyrewear on both Aston Martins that paid off in the race with Sebastian Vettal at P9 and Lance Stroll P10 (he started at the back too!)

No points for Ferrari as both cars lacked race pace. Carlos Sainz at P11 and a disappointing P16 for Charles Leclerc

George Russell has his best finish for this season, finishing at P12
