UGC NET exam is conducted twice a year. However, in the year 2020 due to the pandemic, the December 2020 session was postponed. It is now scheduled to be conducted in May 2021. नेशनल एलिजिबिलिटी टेस्ट (NET) असिस्टेंट प्रोफेसरों और जूनियर रिसर्च फेलोशिप (JRF) के लिए आयोजित किया जाता है। NTA, यूनिवर्सिटी ग्रांट कमीशन (UGC) और काउंसिल ऑफ साइंटिफिक एंड इंडस्ट्रियल रिसर्च (CSIR) की ओर से NET आयोजित करता है।
यूजीसी नेट, साल में दो बार जून में और दिसंबर में आयोजित किया जाता है। पिछले साल कोरोना वायरस (COVID-19) महामारी के प्रकोप के कारण UGC NET का दिसंबर 2020 का संस्करण स्थगित करना पड़ा था। जिसे अब मई में आयोजित किया जाएगा।
उम्मीदवारों की जानकारी के लिए बता दें कि UGC NET 2021 सिलेबस अलग-अलग विषयों के लिए अलग-अलग है। अपने विषय का सिलेबस चेक और डाउनलोड करने के लिए
यूजीसी परीक्षा पैटर्न () सभी विषयों के लिए समान है। इसमें दो पेपर होते हैं जहां, पेपर 1 में 50 मल्टिपल च्वॉइस क्वीश्चयन (MCQ) और पेपर 2 में 100 मल्टिपल च्वॉइस क्वीश्चयन होते हैं। एग्जाम पूरा करने के लिए केवल तीन घंटे का समय होगा, बीच में कोई ब्रेक नहीं है। प्रत्येक सही उत्तर में 2 अंक आते हैं और UGC NET 2021 में कोई नेगेटिव मार्किंग नहीं है।
पिछली यूजीसी नेट परीक्षा में परीक्षा की तारीख और परिणाम घोषणा की तिथि के बीच के अंतर के आधार पर, उम्मीद है कि एग्जाम से करीब 25-30 दिन बाद यूजीसी नेट 2021 परिणाम (UGC NET 2021 Result) जारी किया जा सकता है।
एनटीए, नेट एग्जाम के बाद उत्तर कुंजी (Answer key) जारी करता है, जिसके आधार पर उम्मीदवार आपत्ति दर्ज कर सकते हैं।
UGC NET 2021 एग्जाम देने वाले उम्मीदवारों को कोरोना वायरस (covid-19) के कारण जरूरी दिशानिर्देशों का पालन करना होगा, इसलिए एडमिट कार्ड के साथ आधिकारिक सूचना बुलेटिन भी डाउनलोड करें और ध्यान से पढ���ें।

CDFD invites applications from highly motivated candidates for admission to our Research Scholars Program, beginning August / September 2021. Keeping in view the interdisciplinary nature of modern biology, we especially encourage persons from diverse backgrounds to apply. Those admitted as Research Scholars would be encouraged to register under the Ph.D. program of Manipal Academy of Higher Education or Regional Centre for Biotechnology. The selection for RSP – I – 2021 shall be based on an entrance examination followed by interview.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for Admission for the CDFD – RSP – I – 2021, the candidate must have:
1. A Master’s degree in any branch of Science, Technology, or Agriculture OR MBBS from a recognized University / Institute. Candidates who have appeared for their final semester examination, but are awaiting results, are also eligible to apply.
2. Qualified for a Junior Research Fellowship from CSIR / UGC / DBT / ICMR / INSPIRE / BINC / JEST / UGC – RGNF or any other similar examination with fellowship.
Candidates having qualified for Project – JRF under the ICMR funded project Scheme [which is only for a period of two years] OR DBT JRF NET with a B.Tech. [Biotechnology] degree OR DBT JRF NET under DBT – B category list OR LS-NET qualification only in CSIR-UGC (NET) examination are NOT eligible to apply.
3. A valid fellowship is an ABSOLUTE requirement for pursuing a Ph.D. at CDFD.
If a candidate’s fellowship result is AWAITED, the candidate can UPDATE the fellowship status preferably before the examination, but positively before the interview.
Note that having a fellowship is not mandatory for applying for and appearing in the examination, BUT, only candidates with a valid fellowship will be eligible for an interview.
Selection Procedure
Admission to the CDFD – RSP – I – 2021 will be based on an interview via video conference; the exact dates will be informed along with the list of candidates shortlisted for the interview. The candidates should be available for more than one round of interviews, if needed. The shortlist of candidates to appear for these interviews will be prepared by CDFD from:
Applicants who appear in the ENTRANCE examination that will be conducted jointly by CCMB and CDFD via online mode in last week of May, 2021 (the exact dates will be informed later at the time of issue of Hall tickets / Admit cards) and have applied to CDFD – RSP – I – 2021, (CDFD-LAN Shortlist) OR
Applicants who appeared in the Joint Graduate Entrance Examination for Biology and Interdisciplinary Life Sciences (JGEEBILS 2021), which was held on March 7, 2021, and have applied to CDFD – RSP – I – 2021 (CDFD-JGEEBILS Shortlist).
The shortlisting will be based on cut-off scores determined by CDFD.
As the list of candidates shortlisted for interview will be displayed only in June 2021, candidates who have appeared for the JGEEBILS-2021 examination are encouraged to appear for the CCMB/CDFD Joint Entrance Examination to be held via online mode in the last week of May 2021.
Interviews will be conducted via video conference in July / August 2021; the exact dates will be informed along with the list of candidates shortlisted for the interview.
Application Procedure
Interested candidates (including those who have appeared for the JGEEBILS-2021) need to register their names for CDFD – RSP – I – 2021 by applying in the prescribed application form online . Please contact <[email protected]> for any queries. The Online application facility will be closed on May 09, 2021.
The CCMB/CDFD Joint Entrance Examination will be held in last week of May, 2021 (the exact dates will be informed later at the time of issue of Hall tickets / Admit cards).
Important Instructions
– CDFD’s Research Scholars Program is a fully residential program. The selected candidates will have to stay on campus.
– Mere fulfillment of the minimum requirements stipulated in the notification would not automatically entitle a person for selection. The decision of CDFD in this regard shall be final. Canvassing in any form and/or bringing in any influence, political or otherwise, will be treated as a disqualification.

NTA : नेशनल टेस्टिंग एजेंसी (NTA) एग्जाम के एडमिट कार्ड जारी करने वाला है। ऐसे सभी उम्मीदवार जिन्होंने परीक्षा के लिए आवेदन किया है, वे यूजीसी नेट 2021 एडमिट कार्ड आधिकारिक वेबसाइट से डाउनलोड कर सकेंगे। यूजीसी नेट की परीक्षा 02 मई 2021 से शुरू होने जा रही हैं और 17 मई तक होंगी।

NCCS PhD Admission August 2021 Programme
NCCS, Pune, invites applications from eligible candidates for admissions to the Ph.D. programme of the August-2021 session. The candidates should be bonafide Indian citizens, having a consistently good academic record with strong motivation to pursue research in modern biology leading to a Ph.D. degree and with eligibility mentioned below should apply for the same.
Students with a post-graduate degree and having valid fellowship from CSIR/ UGC/ DBT (Category I)/ICMR/ BINC, all are eligible to apply.
DST-Inspire qualified students with NET-LS or GATE are also eligible to apply.
Students with post-graduate degrees, who do not have a fellowship but have qualified JGEEBILS examination conducted by NCBS/TIFR held on 08th December 2019 are eligible to apply. However, candidates who are shortlisted by NCCS criteria will only be called for an interview.
A limited number of fellowships will be provided by NCCS to the selected students, who do not have fellowship (from CSIR/DBT/ICMR/UGC/DST-Inspire/BINC) but have qualified JGEEBILS and are selected by NCCS. Submission of application to the NCCS-PhD programme does not automatically guarantee that a candidate will be shortlisted for an interview.
Shortlisted candidates fulfilling NCCS criteria will have to appear for an online interview to be held at NCCS on 22nd, 23rd and 24th June 2021. Detailed eligibility conditions are given hereunder.
Eligibility For NCCS August PhD Programme:
Should have Masters (postgraduate) degree in any branch of Sciences with interest in pursuing research in Modern Biology, having at least 55% or equivalent Grade Point Average (GPA) (A relaxation of 5% of marks, shall be allowed for SC/ST/OBC and Persons With Disabilities) and with a valid fellowship from CSIR/UGC/ DBT/ICMR/ BINC, etc. OR DST-Inspire with NET-LS or GATE.
Students with post-graduate degrees, who do not have individual fellowship but have qualified JGEEBILS exam conducted by NCBS/TIFR on 08th December 2019 will be eligible to apply. Students will be shortlisted based on JGEEBILS results by NCCS criteria for interview. NCCS’s decision in this regard will be final. Please write your JGEEBILS December 2019 Reference Code on the top of the application form at the designated place.
How to Apply
1) Candidates who have qualified only for Lectureship in CSIR-UGC (NET) and the “Project List of ICMR” are not eligible.
2) NCCS’s Ph.D. programme is a residential programme. The selected candidates may have to stay on campus.
3) All the eligible complete applications received within the last date will be screened and shortlisted candidates will be called for interview as per the schedule given.
4) Other terms and conditions of the fellowship will be directed by the funding agency awarding the fellowship. The upper age limit for JRF shall be 28 years which is relaxed up to 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/Women/PWD and 3 years in case of OBC candidates, or as applicable.
5) Fellowship will be activated as per the respective funding agencies’ guidelines on Direct Benefit Transfer basis. NCCS will not be responsible for providing.
6) Reservation will be as per Government of India guidelines.
7) SC/ST/OBC candidates should also attach a true copy of the Caste Certificate / Latest non-creamy layer certificate along with the application and originals that should be produced at the time of the interview.
8) Kindly mention “Application for Ph.D. — August 2021 Session” in the subject of the e-mail.
9) The complete application form (download from NCCS website) along with the copies of the M.Sc. marks statement and Fellowship certificate/admit card should be sent by e-mail to [email protected] (One PDF file containing application in the prescribed format along with certificates) on or before 21st May 2021.

Interviews:
Online interviews will be held at NCCS, Pune of all shortlisted candidates as per the selection criteria set by NCCS. Details of the interview process will be published on the NCCS website along with the list of shortlisted candidates on 07th June. 2021.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should have passed their M.Sc. /M.Tech. / M. Pharm. / M.V.Sc. or equivalent qualification in Life Sciences or allied subjects (Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Bioinformatics/ Microbiology etc.) with a minimum of 60% marks (or equivalent grade point) and at least two years of research experience.
Candidates who have qualified in CSIR/ UGC-JRF/ CSIR/ UGC-lectureship/ UGC-RGNF/ ICMR-JRF/ DBT-JRF/ GATE/ GPAT/ ICAR-NET or equivalent national examination will be preferred. If the original certificate is not available, the candidate has to provide a photocopy of the original admit card and the particular result page highlighting their roll number, along with the application. A copy of your CV (with two referees) must be provided along with the application.
Desirable
Candidates with expertise in programming, knowledge of ‘R’ (Bioconductor), statistics, Python, and C++, knowledge/hands-on experience in handling next-generation sequencing data and/or training in molecular biology would be preferred. Candidates are requested to provide a short write up on their programming skills.
Age Limit
The upper age limit of the candidate should be below 32 years as on the last date of application. Age relaxation will be given to the candidates as per Govt. of India rules.

Essential Qualification:
Candidates should have passed their M.Sc./ M.Tech./ M.Pharm./ M.V.Sc. or equivalent qualification in life sciences and allied subjects (Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Bioinformatics/ Biophysics/ Chemistry/ Microbiology, etc.) with minimum of 60% marks (or equivalent grade point). Candidates awaiting final results may also apply, however, if shortlisted, they have to produce their final mark sheet on the date of the interview, failing which they will not be interviewed.
Candidates should have also qualified in CSIR/UGC-JRF or DBT-JRF or UGC-RGNF or ICMR-JRF or DST INSPIRE or GATE or GPAT. If the original certificate is not available, the candidate has to provide a photocopy of the original admit card and the particular result page highlighting their roll number, along with the application. Candidates having valid fellowship will be preferred.
The candidate should be below 28 years in age, as of 31st December 2020. An age relaxation of five years in the case of SC/ST/women/PH candidates and three years in the case of OBC candidates will be given (as per Govt. of India rules)

Essential Qualification:
Candidates should have passed their M.Sc. / M.Tech. / M.Pharm. / M.V.Sc. or equivalent qualification with minimum of 60% marks (or equivalent grade point). Candidates awaiting final results may also apply. However, if shortlisted, they have to produce their final mark sheet on the date of the interview, failing which they will not be interviewed.

NCCS PhD Program Details
NCCS, Pune, invites application from eligible candidates for admissions to Ph.D. programme of the March-2021 session. The candidates should be bonafide Indian citizens, having a consistently good academic record with strong motivation to pursue research in modern biology leading to a Ph.D. degree and with eligibility mentioned below should apply for the same.
Students with a post-graduate degree and having valid fellowship from CSIR/ UGC/ DBT (Category I)/ICMR/ BINC, all are eligible to apply.
DST-Inspire qualified students with NET-LS or GATE are also eligible to apply.
Students with post-graduate degrees, who do not have a fellowship but have qualified JGEEBILS examination conducted by NCBS/TIFR held on 08th December 2019 are eligible to apply. However, candidates those are shortlisted by NCCS criteria will only be called for interview.
A limited number of fellowships will be provided by NCCS to the selected students, who do not have fellowship (from CSIR/DBT/ICMR/UGC/DST-Inspire/BINC) but have qualified JGEEBILS and are selected by NCCS. Submission of application to the NCCS-PhD programme does not automatically guarantee that a candidate will be shortlisted for an interview.
Shortlisted candidates fulfilling NCCS criteria will have to appear for an online interview to be held at NCCS on 27th, 28th & 29th January 2021. Detailed eligibility conditions are given hereunder.
ELIGIBILITY FOR NCCS Ph.D. PROGRAMME:
Should have Masters (postgraduate) degree in any branch of Sciences with interest in pursuing research in Modern Biology, having at least 55% or equivalent Grade Point Average (GPA) (A relaxation of 5% of marks, shall be allowed for SC/ST/OBC and Persons With Disabilities) and with a valid fellowship from CSIR/UGC/ DBT/ICMR/ BINC, etc. OR DST-Inspire with NET-LS or GATE.
Students with post-graduate degrees, who do not have individual fellowship but have qualified JGEEBILS exam conducted by NCBS/TIFR on 08th December 2019 will be eligible to apply. Students will be shortlisted based on JGEEBILS results by NCCS criteria for interview. NCCS decision in this regard will be final. Please write your JGEEBILS December 2019 Reference Code on the top of the application form at the designated place.
How to Apply
1) Candidates who have qualified only for Lectureship in CSIR-UGC (NET) and the “Project List of ICMR” are not eligible.
2) NCCS’s Ph.D. program is a residential program. The selected candidates may have to stay on campus.
3) All the eligible complete applications received within the last date will be screened and shortlisted candidates will be called for interview as per the schedule given.
4) Other terms and conditions of the fellowship will be directed by the funding agency awarding the fellowship. The upper age limit for JRF shall be 28 years which is relaxed up to 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/Women/PWD and 3 years in case of OBC candidates, or as applicable.
5) Fellowship will be activated as per the respective funding agencies guidelines on Direct Benefit Transfer basis. NCCS will not be responsible for providing.
6) Reservation will be as per Government of India guidelines.
7) SC/ST/OBC candidates should also attach a true copy of the Caste Certificate / Latest non-creamy layer certificate along with the application and originals that should be produced at the time of the interview.
8) Kindly mention “Application for Ph.D. — March 2021 Session” in the subject of the e-mail.
9) The complete application form (download from NCCS website) along with the copies of the M.Sc. marks statement and Fellowship certificate/admit card should be sent by e-mail to [email protected] (One PDF file containing application in the prescribed format along with certificates) on or before 24.12.2020.

Notice for NISER PhD Program Admission 2020-21 (Winter Session)
Applications are invited from Indian citizens for admission to Ph.D program scheduled to commence from 5th January, 2021 in the following schools of NISER, Bhubaneswar:
School of Biological Sciences (SBS)
School of Chemical Sciences (SCS)
School of Computer Sciences (SCPS)
School of Earth & Planetary Sciences (SEPS)
School of Mathematical Sciences (SMS)
Eligibility:
School of Biological Sciences
60% or equivalent GPA in Masters or M. Tech or M. Pharm in any branches of Agricultural Sciences, Biology, Life Sciences, Pharmacy (any specialization), Veterinary Sciences, Computer Sciences, Bioinformatics and Biotechnology. Students with Master’s degree in Physics, Chemistry or Mathematics having interest in pursuing a career in Biology are also encouraged to apply.
The requirement of Qualifying in National Level Examinations for pursuing Ph.D. program
School of Biological Sciences–Candidates should have qualified at least one of the National Level Examinations i.e. CSIR-UGC-NET (JRF) /DBT/ICMR and be eligible to receive a fellowship from these agencies valid for the academic year 2020-2021 and must be financially supported from a scholarship/fellowship from CSIR-UGC NET (JRF)/DBT/ICMR during their PhD program at NISER.
Important Note:
(a)The cut off marks for national examination such as GATE/JEST/NBHM/CSIR-UGCNET etc will be further decided by each School for the relevant subject area.
(b)Those who have appeared for the CSIR-UGC-NET examination held recently in 2020and awaiting results may also apply in all Schools (except for School of Mathematical Sciences). However, such candidates, if shortlisted have to produce the qualifying mark statement of the CSIR-UGC-NET (LS or JRF) exam on the date of Ph.D. written test/interview failing which his/her candidature will be rejected automatically.
(c)As per HBNI Ordinance, student having INSPIRE Fellowship Doctoral Fellowship ONLY, without qualifying any other national level written examination will not be considered for admission to Ph.D. program in NISER.
(d) Candidates with GPA in qualifying degree may need to produce the conversion note (in case it is not mentioned in their mark sheet) from their institution towards the calculation of percentage.
Fellowship
1. The institute fellowship given by NISER is Rs. 31,000/- for the first two years, which will subsequently be enhanced to Rs. 35,000/- for the remaining three years, subject to the condition that he/she fulfills all the requirements of the Institute that will be stipulated from time to time.
2. Students with external fellowship from agencies viz. CSIR, UGC etc will be eligible to draw fellowship as per the extant rules of the respective funding agencies.

Selection Procedure
– The selection committee of the respective schools will short-list the candidates among those who meet the minimum educational qualifications and satisfy additional criteria which each school may set as deemed necessary.
– The short-listed candidates will be called for an interview, supplemented by a written test, if necessary, for admission.
– Based on the academic record and the performance of the candidates in the selection process, the selection committee of the school will recommend candidates to the Chairman, Academic Council for admission to the Ph.D. program.
– All candidates called for the Test / Interview will be paid to and fro single, second sleeper class railway fare by the shortest route from their place of residence to the Institute. They have to produce evidence (railway ticket) in support of their claim.
How to Apply
The application form has to be filled up online at http://www.niser.ac.in and candidates should follow stepwise instructions mentioned to complete the application submission process. At the time of application, along with this online form, the candidate should upload soft copy of the supporting documents as per the eligibility criteria.
Candidates intending to apply for more than one school should fill up separate online application forms for each school with appropriate supporting documents.
Two sealed letters of reference in the prescribed format with the signature of the referee on the envelope should be produced by the student at the time of the interview. A copy of the reference letter is available online.
NISER does not demand any application fee from the candidates who apply for the Ph.D. program.
Checklist for application submission
During online submission, you will need to have the following ready with you for uploading;
– JPEG file of your passport size photo.
– JPEG file of your valid signatures.
– Birth Certificate/10th pass certificate in support of date of birth.
– Certificate in support of category (SC/ST), only if applicable.
– Certificate and mark sheets in support of passing qualifying examination i.e Master’s degree. In case the original pass certificate is not issued by University then a certificate from the University on its letterhead with the seal of the concerned authority certifying the completion of the degree should be submitted.
– Certificate/document in support of qualifying national level examination(s) viz. CSIRUGC NET/ GATE/ DBT/ ICMR/ JEST/ NBHM or any other as applicable.
– Candidates who have appeared CSIR-UGC-NET exam held recently in 2020 and are awaiting the result are required to upload the CSIR-UGC-NET admit card at the time of submission of the online application.
