Journal Monday, 5th July, 2021 Excepts from the book, Freedom From The Known by J. Krishnamurti “There is only total fear, but how can the mind which thinks in fragments observe this total picture? Can it? We have lived a life of fragmentation, and can look at that total fear only through the fragmentary process of thought. The whole process of the machinery of thinking is to break up everything into fragments: I love you and I hate you; you are my enemy, you are my friend; my peculiar idiosyncrasies and inclinations, my job, my position, my prestige, my wife, my child, my country and your country, my God and your God - all that is the fragmentation of thought. And this thought looks at the total state of fear, or tries to look at it, and reduces it to fragments. Therefore we see that the mind can look at this total fear only when there is no movement of thought. Can you watch fear without any conclusion, without any interference of the knowledge you have accumulated about it? If you cannot, then what you are watching is the past, not fear; if you can, then you are watching fear for the first time without the interference of the past.” #UnderstandingFear #miiickeymadu #canonEOSm50 (at 𝓣𝓱𝒆 𝓤𝒏𝒊𝓿𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒆) https://www.instagram.com/p/CQ8GCW2DwHj/?utm_medium=tumblr

Fears .. Where they lead and Why they move ..
There is a saying .. driven by fear .. and yet .. how do we know reasonable ways to understand why we feel fear .. most notably .. all things as they should be .. fear is .. a sort of sixth sense .. an extension of ourselves which .. leads to .. safety .. a sense of trust .. in ones-self for in that this .. when you are scared .. there is cause to .. protect .. be wary .. and care for those which are of value to you .. to care for those things which enable you to care for each other .. and yourself .. upon accomplishment .. we reward ourselves with pride .. with family .. with the right to respectful appropriation of emotional resources and knowledge which enable us to do so again at less the cost and in such a feat .. become valuable to our community .. there is actually no way I am aware of to overcome fear .. so to speak .. there are ways to handle your fears and the fears of others and the fears you are aware of others facing .. but we cannot be without fear .. and for good reason ..
Should you take to task this lesson and understanding .. to a reasonable accomplishment .. you may find this .. sit .. very still and calm .. walk very slowly and comfortably .. be yourself without hurting .. and strive to .. accomplish moving a finger .. a foot .. your head and neck .. without motivating this movement .. without choosing through negotiation .. fear .. a word .. a phrase .. a threat .. you call to mind and .. accomplish in order that this .. we may choose .. we have ability to be .. there is no life without fear .. and .. sometimes fears can be overwhelming ..
Do not let fear rule your life and do not attempt a life without it .. balance is the way through .. no one here is trying to go to anywhere … keep breathing .. and maybe we .. definitely we may find a way to temper our fears into something and .. accomplish success .. there is no life without it ..
Be Good ..

Late night reckonings. If people could look past their fears... Imagine what a beautiful place this could be. Conflict, discord, violence, hate. It all streams from fear. Fear of being wrong, fear of being right, of being thought different or the same. Fear of dying. Fear of living. Fear of getting lost or being found. Lately our lives have seemed to be ruled by fear. Why are you afraid? Why does that murky feeling of dread slither up your spine? Whether it be from spiders or snakes or people or death... Take the time to try to understand why you fear this thing. I feared spiders. Why? Because I was afraid of getting bit. Why? Because bites can lead to sickness or death. Well death is nothing to fear because death is an illusion. So now by taking just a moment to analyze this concept I can determine that I feared spiders because I feared death. I no longer fear death, so now spiders are not as bad. This was a very small example but the point is there. Through understanding you can overcome your fears. Think if we could eliminate just 1/3 of the influence that fear has. Just something as simple as a bit of knowledge an deductive thinking can drastically change the world. #fear #understandingfear #facingyourfears #freefromfear #think #latenightrants #hyperianism #changetheworld #overcome #grow #evolve #become

I believe that there is good fear and then there is bad fear. The good fear serves a purpose in life, it protects you and prevents you from making mistakes. The bad fear is fear that is unreasonable brought around by unreasonable negative thoughts in the mind and maybe to the point of paranoia. Learn what is good fear and learn what is bad fear for then fear will not stand in the way of your success. . . #badfear #goodfear #usefulfear #fearful #anxiety #depressionhelp #understandingfear #understandfear #movingon #successful #successfullife - Follow me on facebook - http://www.facebook.com/pages/p/295718140776698

Understanding fear
I remember, at a young age, telling my cousin Chioma I was afraid of the dark when we went outside to get laundry at night. She told me to walk up to the cast shadow scaring me in the corner and see that there was nothing to be afraid of. As I walked close enough to the corner, I saw that truly, it was just a shadow, nothing more.
That idea slowly changed my attitude towards fear; of the dark, of my future, of challenges in my life and of things I don't yet understand.
I realized with time, that the source of most of our fears are conjured by baseless thoughts and imaginations, yet their effects were so real; so tangible.
We should seek to face and understand our fears and the roots of them. When we enter a dark room, we switch on the lights right? That way, we can see what's really in the room.
It's important, because fear encourages a lot of the problems we see today;  ignorance, anger, discrimination, jealousy, self-doubt, apathy, depression, stagnation and a lot of wrong-doing. It also makes it easier for a person to be manipulated. Someone can't convince you that there's a thief in the room with you if you have the lights on and can see everything inside the room right?
That said, fear can also be good. In it's right form, it can motivate you and induce caution when necessary.
So let's face our fears and conquer them with understanding. Let's rise above our fears and make fear work for us. We owe it to ourselves to make the most out of life.
Kind regards, Chichi
